  • What a service too off

    I took my Escalade in for two issues. The heated seats did not work and the check engine light cycles off and on for lean codes. They charge $118 to even look at each issue. They wanted $900 to fix the heated seat, I passed. Even though I explained U had taken the car to my mechanic 5 times for the same check engine light code, they charged me $118 to plug it in and confirm it was a lean code and they could find nothing wrong. I asked the service manager what I was supposed to do when it goes off again since I can never be certain it is the same issue and he arrogantly told me to rush it right in and they would charge me another $118 to look at it. Seriously??? It went on again the next day but no way would I pay them another $118 to not fix it. What a rip.

    My experience working with Josh in the MacMulkin Cadillac Service Department was exceptional. I have had an 'undiagnosed' squeak in my 2014 Cadillac ATS since it was purchased new. It wasn't until Josh took on the 'mission' of finding and correcting that noise did the problem get solved. And it was a mission for Josh. Josh worked with us not around us. Josh was thoughtful, determined, understanding, knowledgeable, and an all around 'good guy'. Kudos also to the folks we didn't meet, the technicians. They found a 'noise' that Cadillac had relegated to the category of 'all the 2014 ATS models do that' pile. They found and fixed a problem that Cadillac either couldn't fix or didn't consider important enough to remedy. Thank you to Josh and the crew at MacMulkin Cadillac Service.

  • Rear AC problem

    My 2007 Saturn Outlook in for a rear AC problem. Difficult to diagnose. Service advisor, Kenny 'G', worked with me continuously to ensure that my AC situation was resolved. After the initial repair it still was not operating properly. He worked with the techs and AC specialist and finally found the correct resolution. It was a pleasure to work with a very professional team. Thanks Kenny 'G'.

  • Two hours for a state inspection on a new vehicle

    I spent 2 hours there to get an inspection sticker on a vehicle with 1900 miles on it. I only got it back after 2 hours because I requested it, since I needed to get to another appointment, which I didn't make anyway. According to the paperwork, the inspection/emissions was done an hour after you took the truck. Supposedly, the truck was going to get an extensive new vehicle inspection. I didn't see any evidence that was done. The truck was very dirty when I brought it in, as it was when returned to me, and the dirt was undisturbed on all but the driver's door. Two hours for an inspection with an appointment is ridiculous. I could have driven down the street to my regular mechanic and he would have done it in 5 minutes while I watched him. I plan to never use their service department again. I can't imagine how long it would have taken if I had had my oil changed also. The people I met in the service department were great, very friendly and right on top of things, but the service people in the garage either dropped the ball or were overbooked. Either way, totally unacceptable.

    I have my car serviced at MacMulkin (Nashua, NH) dealership for the CUE system upgrade and the shifter recall fix. (This took me exact 1 week to finish this.)They gave me a free rental vehicle, when I got this rental car, the fuel tank is almost empty, one of the service manager told me I don't need to refill the gas before return. But after several days, they charged my about $15 dollars on the gas. I don't mind to pay for the gas, but they way they charge me make my so angry, 1. the service manager said I don't need to do this. 2. I return the car on Thursday afternoon around 3:00pm, why they don't charge me when I was there. 3. when I got the rental car, the fuel tank is almost empty, how can they charge me more than they had? I would not recommend this dealership to anyone according to their bad service and attitude to the customer.
