10 Thousand Mile Service

I left and she contacted about 30 minutes prior to the estimated time of completion. The vehicle was finished and… they even gave her a bath. Nice working with you! by ann94 on 01/20/2015I was in the market for a used car recently. I found an add online for a used BMW 3 series 2011 with low mileage for a great deal at Lithia VW Reno. Everything about the car seemed great except for a check engine light. The salesman had… an excuse, "We changed the oil but don't have the technology to change the light." Skeptical, we had an independent mechanic look at there car and not only was there an E-Vape leak, the service department had put the incorrect coolant in the car. There were multiple signs that the car had been in an unreported accident (different paint colors, new headlights, etc.). When we returned with this information, the salesman instantly stopped trying to sell us the car, he has been found out and he knew it. Additionally, we believe the car fax was fraudulent as it was printed in black and white, had an incorrect vin number, and the salesman did not print it in front of us. Treating your customers as if they were stupid is never appreciated, especially when your mechanics don't even know how to care for cars.Fast and efficient!

Maya always offers superb service and the young lady there… was very helpful as well.Service Reviw

Shop or myself couldn't remember if that installation was in the sales agrement or not...but they installed the… flaps without charge. Above and beyondGreat job

by tmhastings on 05/12/2011updated 07/12/2025As a result of having my 40,000 mile service "done" at Lithia Volkswagen, we now need a new transmission. It is standard during the 40,000 mile service for the DSG transmission service to be done. It was not. We brought our 2006 Jetta TDI… into a different VW dealership for an oil change and to check our transmission which was acting funny. They discovered that the transmission filter had not been changed and the transmission had not been serviced. We asked if that was not covered under the 40,000 mile service and they informed us that it is standard to be completed then. As a result of our transmission not being serviced, we have to replace the transmission. We have attempted numerous times to contact Lithia VW of Reno, with no response. We have now filed a complaint with BBB of NV and our new dealership has filed a complaint with Volkswagen of America. We hope some resolution will come of those.Lithia? Never again!
