  • Scratch after service

    The vehicle was brought in to fix scratches. After more than 2 hours despite the scheduled appointment, the service and car wash was done, there was a scuff on the back that wasn’t there before it was serviced. The service dept refused to fix it even though it was pointed out that it happened during their service. Poor customer service. Not to mention this vehicle was brand new and was bought from this dealership just a month ago. Bad customer service.

  • If you're going to Honda west, just go down Sahara and drive right past it

    If you're thinking of coming to Honda west., think again and go literally anywhere else. The junk yard will give you better service. Wow...all I have to say. Wow, in a horrible and shocked way. It blows my mind how when a female calls, we get one response. I call, I get told the car wasn't even diagnosed and needed an admin to give the approval to access the car- excuse me what? My husband calls, "oh we are working on it as we speak." When a man calls a different answer. At the end of the day, car is still with the dealer (2 days later and no diagnosis. And they won't give you a loaner without a diagnosis). The tactic was to get out of paying for a rental for a day. Where's the honesty? Where's the transparency? You might find that at Findlay Honda, definitely not Honda west. Yikes! Yagger, the techs name, how this man has a job blows my mind. Extremely rude and dishonest. Flat out lied to me and told me there was no courtesy shuttle. My car has less than 5k miles. Bought off the lot a few months ago. The website claims they have Honda certified technicians but can't diagnose an issue for a H O N D A?! But didn't yall just tell my husband that you were working on it? What a joke. From the extremely horrible service received and lack of training on their own cars, I will get rid of that car as soon as I possibly can- thank you lemon law! Honda west is a class action waiting to happen. I will gladly join that settlement!

  • Avoid this Honda Dealership!

    I went to this dealership for a simple battery change, expecting a quick service since my car is under warranty. However, I ended up waiting for over two hours just for them to replace the battery. To make matters worse, despite being under warranty, they refused to honor it for the battery replacement and charged me a whopping $400. When I mentioned local dealership coupons that could have saved me money, they outright refused to match them. This has been my worst dealership experience in twenty years of owning Honda cars. The service was slow, the costs were exorbitant, and the customer service was incredibly disappointing. I will not be returning to this dealership and would advise others to look elsewhere for their Honda service needs.

  • Where have all the nice service techs gone?!!

    First things first…. This review is specific towards my personal experience with Honda West’s Service Dept.only. The positive online reviews seem to center around customers satisfaction during their car purchasing experiences….. I’m guessing that a new service manager is in place because my last visit nearly 4 years ago was superior. Period. Back then I experienced some of the best customer service Honda prides itself with. Unfortunately I cannot say the same for todays visit. Service excellence has gone away completely in the service dept. I did not have an appt. So I got in that lane. You know, the lanes that say, “Appointments here” “No appointments here” (I happened to be the lucky only ONE car in this embarrassment of a lane. I say embarrassment because it singles you out, and you are treated exactly like you are a nobody. At least that’s my experience this morning). I waited , and waited, & waited for anyone to approach. After waiting 20 min. without any contact, (I didn’t need anything fancy, perhaps some eye contact with a quick, “Hello ma’am, (I see you), someone will be right with you” would have gone a long way with me. Perhaps avoiding my energy and time to write this negative review. After being passed up, and passed up again, cars with appointments “take priority” - (Michael Davis, service advisor) I had enough. Literally called Service manager who couldn’t address me because he was “in a meeting” -(Dave, appointment scheduler). Dave was lacking a smile over the phone, he had a depressing tone of voice, no “pep” and NO a HELP. He limited his role in the sense when he told me all he does is “appointment scheduler” and didn’t attempt to address my complaint and frustration, (or he just did not want to), I had to keep asking him questions about “who is next in command at the dealership when the service manager isn’t available ?” I get the , “Umm I don’t know” dull response with no initiative to try and at least just TRY to assist me with anyone else who has any pull. While standing outside my vehicle attempting to contact anybody who can at least tell me something, tell me one thing, maybe I got in the wrong lane? Maybe tell me the wait time? I just needed contact! I observed Michael Davis the service advisor finally taking notice of my presence. Why it had to take phone calls to dealership, me getting out of my vehicle standing next to it, I chalk it up to being at the wrong dealership and boy was that proven to me during my interaction with Michael. Please, by all means would somebody retrain Michael Davis with better customer service skills?! No smile, lack of any energy, dark personality, talks in sentences using discouraging tactics. Example, “In fact your oil change wait is going to be longer. Your looking at over 3 hours.” “See all those cars in line over there, yea there all here for service too.” “Appointments get priority” “We don’t have loaner cars” “If you already know what the issue is with your car then we can do the A-1 special, up to you” *Looks up at me like I’m wasting his time. “Your looking at a 3-4 hour average wait time” At this moment I’m completely mentally checked out. I have NO desire to give this dealership a single dime of my hard earned money. And I literally said to Michael, “You know, I made a mistake coming to this dealership for my service. Those guys over at Findlay Honda of Henderson have me so spoiled. They pride themselves on customer service and always take care of me and that’s why I keep returning to Honda because the reputation it has for their customer service. But it’s here at Honda West that sucks. It’s always this dealership that disappoints.” I drive off and pulled to the side in the car lot and went online to Findlay Honda of Henderson and literally booked my service appointment right then and there to be seen at exactly half an hour from there. Imagine that! An accommodating Honda dealership! Wow! What do you know?! Here I am ready to receive my car service quote from the wonderful and excellent customer service that Findlay Honda of Henderson is known for, (The service manager here, Johnathan is the best thing that’s happened to his dept. Because he runs things like a well oiled machine)! Oh yea and they are giving me a 20% discount on service I agreed to for a total of $900.00 (I needed new brakes and tires and oil/filter changes etc). I’m addition to this, these guys are hooking me up for a car rental since they need to keep my car for the few hours it will take to receive QUALITY mechanical repairs! • Lesson learned … avoid Honda West Sahara completely, never return to dealership because you never know what your gonna get/ a salty attitude from unhappy service technicians or a washed out customer service associate who doesn’t want to help customers and only wants to do his one job of scheduling appointments. Thanks “Dave” thanks “Michael.” Your managers at your dealership can now award you both golden stars for receiving todays one star rating.

    I bought a Honda Accord 2.0 t 2022 and a fuse blew I took it to honda west to get it fix and mike Davis help me with the issue very good customer service i really appreciate it him for listening and understanding my concern and be able to fix tue problem and a very good time while i was waiting i was watching cars and Andrea approach to me and ask if i need anything which i do appreciated to for taking the time and ask me i f i need it something thank you

  • Service is decent, service advisor is awful.

    I called Honda West service department for an appointment and spoke with someone the fact that my CR-V 2021 still locks but no longer beeps and the remote start no longer works. It’s been like that for months but did not make the time to spend hours for an system update. They told me over the phone that this is a service that is covered under warranty and that they would fix it!when I brought it in for the updates & decided to get an early oil change as well. Ryan Johnson was my advisor for the second time at this location and he was stand-offish and rude both times, while lacking basic communication skills. I dropped the car off the morning of my appointment and he basically brushed me off and said he would call me. Hours passed by so I called just to check on the status of my vehicle and was told that the locking problem was suddenly not covered under warranty and I would need to spend an extra 308 dollars that I do not have to fix this issue. I declined because it was my understanding that it was going to be covered. He was rude again and told me that the oil change was the only thing they would be fixing and told me they would call for pick up. Another couple hours passed and I again had to reach out in order to find out that my vehicle was ready for pick up. All in all an awful experience. I don’t recommend Ryan as an advisor. And to top it all off for some reason I wasn’t give the complimentary car wash which I always received since I had my first Honda (trivial I know but it’s always been offered). After 5 1/2 hours I end up just with a discounted Oil Change which received thru email!

    From day one Honda West has been one of the best car dealerships and service centers I've ever experienced. The high-end car dealerships pale in comparison. Personal service is off the charts, and they make everything easy and convenient. Eric Q made buying my car a great experience (that's a first), and John C in the Service Department is the best.

    I have a 2019 Civic sport touring and just moved to vegas. It was great servicing my vehicle at honda west las vegas. Christopher Lechuga, was quiet understanding and made my service experience as smooth at it can be. All in all, honda west is where i am servicing my car in Las Vegas.
