  • Oil change service appt

    I drove my car 25 miles for servicing. When I left the cruise control would not work and the air fans stayed on for 14 minutes after I shut the car off. When I got home from work my husband discovered the cable that connects to air cooling system and has connections for other things as well as not reconnected after the oil change. He plugged it in and that fixed my cruise control but then other dash lights and check engine warnings stayed on. I had to take off work a second morning and drive back 50 mile round trip to Omaha so that they could run diagnostics on it.

  • Great job on my car

    John was so kind and helpful when I was rear ended by an uninsured motorist. He is a wonderful asset to this company. My car looks like new. John even offered to pay for a phone cord out of his own pocket. Turns out I had misplaced it. Good man.

    As always Gregg Young Chevrolet made it very easy to drop off my truck for the needed brake repairs. Always clean, friendly and easy. They also provided a 2021 loaner to use while repairs were done.

  • Poor service and experience

    Problem not resolved and reoccurred immediately after leaving. Representative was on the phone for five minutes just to hand me my keys and point to where my vehicle was located. Once getting to my vehicle I had to remove plastic seat cover, paper floor cover, and paper key ring. NOT ACCEPTABLE.

  • New issues keep occurring after visits

    We took the car in in January, shortly after, an oil leak started. Monitored it for a while but couldn’t tell the issue was still present until the snow melted. We finally got that repaired last week, but since we waited, it was hard to prove that it started after the last service. Yesterday, we noticed more fluid (not oil this time) pooled below the car. We are checking again this evening and if still there, we’ll going to need to set up another appointment. It’s costing a lot (which happens I guess), but it’s frustrating that this is A) seemingly happening immediately after getting serviced and B) the new issues aren’t found in the inspection done during those services.

    One of our fleet vehicles was brought here for a repair. While being towed here, the vehicle sustained significant body damage. This damage resulted in a substantially longer expected repair time. We worked with Michelle S. in service who was very diligent about getting us detailed and accurate quotes, ordering parts, and coordinating the repair between the service and body shop. She also did a great job communicating with the tow company for the repairs they were responsible for. We feel she reduced the overall repair-time through her proactive approach. We would not hesitate to bring our fleet vehicles here in the future.

    Came in for an oil change and there was an accident with my truck at your shop, which ruined the whole passenger side. Right away I wasn’t upset as I knew you guys would honor and fix the situation. Not to mention put me in a truck while mine was getting fixed. Your team made my truck a priority and got it fixed and repaired within a week. The truck looks great and everybody was great to work with. Thank you

    The staff at Greg Young's Service Department, especially Seth in the body shop who advised and oversaw severe hail damage repairs to my Silverado and my GMC Yukon XL, seem more like trusted friends than dealership employees. He was true to form when later repairing the Yukon's collision damage. Trent, in the mechanical service department, is obviously struck from the same mold. I haven't had as many interactions with him but I always get the impression that I'm the most important person in Omaha when he talks with me.
