  • Awesome car buying experience

5 out of 5 starsby GayPawlak on 02/10/2016

I had to turn in my leased vehicle where I was over my mileage, they helped me by purchasing my old, leased vehicle and got me into a new Equinox. My new payment was $80 less that my previous lease, they worked very hard for me and did me a huge favor as well. Would definitely recommend. Greg Green was my sales person and he was awesome. He did the same thing for a nephew of mine, helped him get out of an over mileage lease and got him into a better used vehicle that worked well for him. Good job Feldman and team.
  • Feldman and GM don't warranty work/parts

2 out of 5 starsby mdrazga on 02/04/2016

Brought the car in for an oil change and mentioned that the check engine light still comes on my wives car. She brought it in for the check engine light with 8,400 mile on (bought the car new) and the sensor was replaced. It was temporarily fixed but continued to come on. She said she would mention it to the service rep when she would bring the car in for regular oil changes. Lisa says that the service rep/s always said "there is no worry, the part was just replaced." Well, I travel a lot and am away from home and need to know that she drives a safe car. Finally I was able to bring the car in myself and mentioned the problem with the check engine light. I was told that the part was defected and that my bill was $100 to replace "a defected part." Doesn't GM warranty their parts? Unfortunately when I brought the car in for an oil change there was 37,000 miles on the car (just past the 36,000 covered warranty). However, this issued was mentioned on other occasions but not logged and GM must not warranty their products. This is CRAP treatment for a loyal customer. I/we will definitely not return our vehicle back to your dealership nor recommend your service to anyone else. It is very frustrating, as a customer, to be treated like that. The service rep, Thomas, was great, but he had his rules to follow. No offence to him, just the way Feldman treats a customer...just get there money.
  • Extremely Satisfied Customer

I received A1 Service at Feldman Chevrolet. After visiting two different dealerships, I was left feeling hopeless and discouraged. I was told by a friend to visit Greg Green at Feldman Chevrolet in New Hudson, MI. Greg offered me double the price for my trade, and got me into an affordable lease option. My purchase was quick and pain free! I am extremely satisfied with my new 2016 Malibu. Thank you Greg Green for all your hard work!!

I have purchased 2 new vehicles from Liberty. I have made several service calls for regular maintenance in the last couple of years. Once again you were terrific. My rep was Bart Wakeman a complete professional. I have said it before they have a customer for life. Thanks again Liberty Chevrolet.
  • Hard Working Staff, Excellent Customer Service

My wife was not happy in her old vehicle, and I wanted to try and get her out of her lease and into a new pick-up truck. My brother suggested I contact Ryan at Liberty Chevrolet. Ryan (and Tony) truly went above and beyond to not only find me a beautiful new Silverado, but also managed to get me into the vehicle at a price I was comfortable with. At no point did I ever feel pressured or confused by the typical "sales pitch" that so often tends to happen when shopping for a vehicle. They were courteous, patient, and I won't hesitate to see them again.
  • Great Service. No high-pressure sales.

We went in to look at Chevy Volts and found just what we wanted. There was no pressure, they just gave us time to evaluate the car and make a decision. We were given a more than fair price for our trade-in and would definitely deal with Liberty Chevrolet again.
  • Hard Workers!!!

I searched for about 3 months to find a Chevy Colorado for my hubbie. Liberty was the only place that went beyond the call of duty to get the truck and give me the deal I needed. Awesome job Tom!!

Matt S. was our salesman and what a great experience we had. From my first trip to the dealership where he turned his computer monitor around to show me the full breakdown of all the costs, to the arrangement of the test drive (which included swapping a Traverse for an Equinox and suggesting we take it home for the weekend to get a good feel for it), to finding the exact Equinox, in the exact color, with the exact options, for the price we expected, it was as joyful of an experience as one could hope for considering you have still have to sign all those papers and move stuff from your old vehicle to the new one. In the end there were no surprises, clear explanations to all questions, and a very accommodating attitude from everyone at the dealership. They filled up the tank and washed it while we were signing the papers too. We even had our two young kids with us when we picked it up and didn't have any problems. I'll be recommending Matt to anyone I run across looking for an honest salesman. Thank you Matt!
  • Great service

Took my 2014 Chevy Cruze in for my 20,000 mile oil change and tire rotation. Service staff noticed that car had slight coolant leak at water pump. Set me up for a loaner @ no charge to me and completed water pump replacement by next day. Oil change and rotate also done. Great service facility as well as sales department. Buy all my cars, and have them serviced there. Thanks guys. Great job! Larry

As always since 2008 these guys have improved 110% ... Love going here they know you by name very respectful and the shuttle service is the best. For the work being done all is good here no complaints...the mechanics go out of there way looking your vehicle over top to bottom. Bunch of good guys
  • Simple work

    1 out of 5 starsby ric33 on 01/06/2015

It took over an hour and a half to do a simple oil change and replace a PCV valve. What's more the service writer lied about how long it would take to do the PCV valve.
    • Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback. We are disappointed to hear of the long wait you had while an oil change and PCV valve replacement were being performed on your vehicle, and we are sorry that you felt lied to by your service advisor. We never want our clients to feel this way in their dealings with Liberty Chevrolet. Our General Manager would like to speak with you directly at (888) 377-1955 to gather more details about your experience and see how we can make this up to you. We look forward to hearing from you very soon.

  • Rock and Roll with Alan C

    3 out of 5 starsby pc53 on 06/15/2014

If you want a salesman who will do what he can to make your time a good experience while researching a vehicle, Alan is the man. He's personable and finds ways to relate as he works hard to bring you to the ultimate goal of driving your new vehicle home. As far as the rest of my experience concerning the financial end of it..... It sucked. I was told by my "mislead" salesman that I would get financed at 1.9% interest. When the rubber met the road, the gentleman started me out at 8.8% ! Guess he thought I was an idiot. He then readily admitted he shouldn't have told Alan the low % rate but thought he could beat my credit union because of my great credit score. I shut down my financing with my credit union because of being told the 1.9% rate. So I ended up doing a 2 hour ride with my daughter and son-in-law, paying them gas to get my wife and I to Liberty Chevrolet, only to get blind-sided by this lack of integrity on the financial end of things. If it hadn't been for a gentleman who is the "real" financial person and family member of the dealership, who had to ask favors of someone to get the % rate below my credit union, I would have walked out of the place. At that point, the person who would have suffered the most would have been my salesman, Alan. How wrong would that have been?? If you read this and then go below to read the question of recommending this dealership to friends and family and see a no? The reason is because of lack of integrity. Being truthful is my BOTTOM LINE. I did purchase my vehicle there only because they did beat my credit union % rate and I had my kids drive my wife and I 2 hours to get there. I can only hope, to be perfectly honest here, that Alan can find his way to a better place to deal cars. Or, the very least, Liberty Chevrolet put him in a position with more responsibility and pay increase because this man, Alan, has more integrity in his little finger than what was expressed to me by anyone else. Granted, the family member of the dealership who ended up taking care of the finances was kind to us. This being said, he pretty much had to be based on what occurred prior to his involvement. Then, on top of that, had to ask favors to save the deal. Now, the reason I gave a 4 star rating was because, and only because of Alan C. If I were to rate the experience without Alan's involvement, I couldn't even squirt out a 1 star.
  • Bad Ad's. Bad Management.

1 out of 5 starsby zandermill on 09/03/2008

So, I am shopping for a car and like most people I got the Sunday paper. Being a holiday weekend I didnt bother to start calling around until Tuesday to let the dealership have people on board. This last Sunday Liberty ran some ad's claiming to have certain vehicles in at 14-15k. When I arrived I was greeted by a friendly rep, let's call him Joe. So I told Joe about the ad, that I was a cash deal and if he had the car I wanted ( I had called and talked to Joe before driving over two hours to get to his location. I really wanted the car they had in the ad!) So after I introduced myself and said I had called about the 08 Impala's and Malibu's for 14k and 15k respectably, he took my ad to his manager and went to show me a Aveo. Now I looked at the car, and then back to Joe and asked "Joe, this isn't a Malibu, or a Impala, and this certainly doesn't have a V6 engine in it. (The big seller for me was the promise and lure of a V6 engine, I'm really bad on 4 cylinders) So he went back in and talked with his boss, who then showed me a Malibu 07 with 55k miles and said this is a deal we have here for 15k. I then said to him "Joe, I realize you have told me you are new, but I came here specifically for the car in your ad. Which you told me you had and made me drive all this way here." So he brings out a friend to help him out, the old buddy buddy routine. And his buddy "Mark" brings around a nice Impala because he finally gets the drift. I want an 08 under 30k miles. So the car he brings me is the base style 08 Impala LS. With a sticker showing 22k miles on it. Finally! I was getting somewhere. However as I sat in the driver seat after being assured multiple times this was the car for me, I notice the odometer reads 30k miles. Yet the sticker reads 22k miles. Okay. So they are lying about the mileage, I can still see if this could work. I do like the car so I go inside and talk with their used car manager. This guy is slick, and brings out all the other dealerships I had been to in my search for a car. (I had got approved through my credit union for financing) So I sit patiently and listen to his unique approach and that is basically badgering me into getting financing on the car through him - even though this should be a cash deal. Then he brings up the price. 18k for a car under a year old with 30k miles. And I again point at his ad which he had taken and threw in the garbage by the way! (Don't ever let go of your newspaper ad - these guys are vultures) And pointed out the ad again said 15k for 08 Impala's. Which he said never mentioned a type. My response was to him. So A base line Impala with no frills and no extra's is not what was put in the ad then what was? Only to be told that the ad didnt really hold any weight that was to bring me in. He then told me he would cut me a break and that if I financed through him at a 5.9% rate of interest he would cut me a break and sell me the car at 17k, instead of the ad price because my financing was a few interest points higher. However the base fact is - I have the money to pay the car off , I'm using financing to bring my credit up even higher, and after one year I'll want to pay the vehicle off. His way would cost me a net two thousand more in the end to pay off then the financing I had and the pricing I wanted for the car. So I walked, and you should too if you try to do business with these individuals, they run bad ad's to bring in business and try to fleece you when you get there. - Zand

This is the second vehicle I have purchased from Liberty Chevrolet. The staff starting with my salesman Mark M and Kristen C who set up my financing are fabulous. They have made me a Liberty customer for life. You will not find a better group of people than those at Liberty Chevrolet. Please do yourself a favor and give them a try for your next car purchase. They truly deserve 10 stars for the way they conduct themselves. Thanks again.
