Rodman Ford - My 2025 Ford Bronco Experience

I was in the market for a new Ford Bronco and the first dealership I went to, would not work with me at all. I then found the same vehicle at Rodman Ford and was the complete opposite experience - we worked out a deal which was a… no-pressure. The sales staff was wonderful to work with; very knowledgeable, great communication and the ease of the purchase was the best I've ever experienced. It was quick, but thorough. The delivery of the vehicle was impeccable. They set my phone up to synch with the vehicle, taught me how to navigate through the complex technology. I would (and have) recommended Rodman Ford to anyone looking for a no-pressure, high quality and efficiency vehicle purchase experience.

We test drove a 2021 Lincoln Navigator. We decided to go ahead with the purchase amount. The transaction… was the fastest and easiest we've ever been able to do. Everyone was very helpful with every question we had about the vehicle. I will definitely comeback for another vehicle when needed. by sflash781 on 06/09/2024Compared to my last car buying experience at a different dealership, Rodman really wasn’t bad. Jim was pleasant to work with, and the financing guy was not pushy about extra packages or upselling. There was a bit of the typical wheel and… dealing with the manager when we asked questions about some of the cars issues (the old “we’re losing money on this car!”), but at the end of the day, we did get a fair deal on a nice used car. My big complaint is that their “detailing” department is a joke. I don’t expect it to be the same as a place that charges $500 and spends 6 hours on my car, but even after asking multiple times for them to at least clean the cup holders and get mud out of the seatbelts, the car was just doused in armor all and not actually clean. The cup holders were coated in nasty crud and not even wiped out once. There was still dog hair everywhere. Maybe some people are fooled by armor all but it was honestly laughable and I asked so many times to no avail that we just quit trying. If the expectation is that they don’t really clean it, ok, but don’t tell me it’ll be “detailed” when my 4 year old could do a better job.Purchase of my new F150 truck
by Ljosr01 on 05/20/2024Rodman helped me through a difficult problem with my old Ford F150. In March I had an accident damaging the left rear part of the truck bed and wheel. The body damage was repaired in a few weeks. Due to lack of parts from Ford and… looking at a long period of time to repair the rear wheel area on my truck it was best to move into a new Truck. The repair of the rear wheel area would take several months and no guarantee that it would solve the problem. Rodman paid off my old truck and moved me into a new F150. This was the best course of action to take.Ford Ranger

Not a good experience
by Matthew on 06/24/2023I strongly recommend to anyone planning to do business with Rodman that they do their research beforehand and read the reviews for this dealer. Rodman has extremely poor customer service and does business in a very unprofessional manner, to… the point where I had to open up a Better Business Bureau claim against them. I purchased a used vehicle from them at the beginning of the year. Onsite, the sale and trade in went fine. The salesperson took took care of VIN check and registration and offered to drop the car off at my home. Since it was an out of state transaction, I was told that I would need to take care of the inspection, but that I would be reimbursed for cost (the bill of purchase actually shows that I paid for state registration, VIN check, AND state inspection). After the vehicle was dropped off, I noticed several large chips in my windshield. I also noticed that I was not provided with the wheel lock key for my spare. I immediately contacted the salesperson who acknowledged the chips. He told me that he would contact the previous owner for the key and would look into seeing what could be done about the windshield. A week went by and finally the manager contacted me to say that the dealer wouldn’t replace the windshield because it wasn’t legally necessary (the chips “were not in the line of site”) and because it was not mentioned at the time of sale (even though he agreed they were not present at the time of sale). I expressed my thoughts at which point the manager got heated and hung up on me. In addition, I didn’t hear anything back regarding the inspection compensation or the wheel lock key. I had to open up a BBB claim in order to hear back from the owner, who basically accused me of being at fault for the windshield, but told me he would comp me for the inspection and the cost of wheel locks (not considering the fact that I had to pay someone to remove them from the vehicle). It wasn’t the best resolution but I was fine just ending it at that point and moving on. After driving around for a few weeks, I noticed the steering was off so I took it in to another dealer to get checked and was told there was an open recall to replace the steering dampener. So Rodman didn’t even take care of that either. It seemed like they were done with me as soon as the deal was made, and they felt no responsibility to take care of any of the issues that were handed to me. This is just not good business.Great Dealership

by DRB2020 on 12/06/2020Went in for drove train warranty issues on my 2018 F150. Service DEPT okay,, but there is the issue of covering the cost of my rental. Emailed sales DEPT to call to discuss a 2020 f-150.,, no call back !! This is not the first time this… sales depart has not followed up . Service Mgr & advisors are good. Sales staff not so muchNot sure what is going on at Rodman Ford.
by StghtnF150 on 08/14/2020I had scheduled to have a few things done to my 2015 Ford 150. 1) Oil change 2) Check health of battery 3) There was some minor rust spots near grill and slight chipping 4) Update all my lights to LED, headlights, high beams and fog… lights. I was quoted $1400+ for this work. I went over all this multiple times on the phone and when I dropped the vehicle off on 8/3/20. Work was "completed" 8/7/20. Weekend comes and I realize they never installed the high beams. I checked my bill and I was not charged, but at this point I had spent 1400, why wouldn't you call and ask, "hey would you like the high beams." Or perhaps just verify, clearly I'm not overly concerned with the cost. I bring the vehicle back on Monday (8/10/20) and they say our bad we will order the high beams and they should be here by Tuesday. Tuesday comes, no call, Wednesday comes, no call. Thursday I am calling asking what is going on? All I am thinking at this point, "why am I chasing these guys to give them my money?" Why the lack of communication? Why the terrible service? Can't blame everything on COVID-19. Not sure why Rodman is so spotty. For every 2 times you go there everything is great and 3rd time just a mess.2018 Chevy

by cpalioglou on 12/22/2016I had purchased a new 2016 Fusion on Dec 31, 2015, regrettably not from Rodman. I was rear ended in late January 2016. Being a brand new car, I was extremely upset. I brought the car into Rodman for repair, as the dealer I purchased the car… from was not on my insurance company's preferred list. Rodman Collision Center did a GREAT job repairing the accident. I was so happy in fact, that when some hit the car again over the summer, my first instinct was to take it back to Rodman. Again, leaving the dealership I though they had done a great job!!! A few weeks went by, and I noticed that paint didn't match. I do not have a trained eye, so it took me a while. Over the next month I struggled with this, not knowing it was really off or just my eyes playing tricks on me. Finally, it got to the point whenever I would look at that side of the car, I would get upset because by now it was sticking out like a sore thumb. I worried however that it had been a couple of months and that I would have to pay something to get it fixed. I called Rodman Collision and explained the situation to their Assistant Manager. He asked that I bring the car in for him to take a look. I did so a week later, and he noticed the difference right away. I asked what it would cost to fix? His reply was "Nothing, you already paid for it, we'll make it right". We scheduled a day for me to drop off the car, and since the insurance was not involved, they even gave me a loaner. I went to pick up the car a few days later. Paint was perfect, from all angles, and now I knew what to look for! Not only did they fix the blemish and give me a loaner for free, they also detailed the car for me, which was an added bonus since it is winter and the car was getting a bit neglected. Not only have they won my business from a repair standpoint, but having witnessed their commitment to customer satisfaction, when the time comes for me to turn in this car, you can bet the FIRST place I'm going to go is Rodman. I just hope that their Sales team is a good as their Collision team!
