The team was incredibly accommodating, especially my service representative, Higor. He was… attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was seamless. Igor arranged a loaner vehicle for me, which made things so convenient, and he took care of all the details to ensure my car was repaired to my complete satisfaction. Every time I go, the service department bends over backwards to ensure that I’m taking care of in a timely manner. Even on short notice they always make a loaner car… available to me. The pricing is fair. There are always coupons that can be used and although I live right next to the Norwood BMW, I continue to drive into Brookline because they’re just awesome!Deb, thank you for your loyalty and kind words about Herb Chambers BMW of Boston! BMW Car Service experience
by OK on 10/22/2024I like the great service of the car and the topping oil whoever I need when the car shows the Signe. Also I like the recommendations they provide after service so we can be aware of. The advisor officer was very efficient, courteous and… caring when she was processing the paper at the desk. I didn't like to wait 3 hrs instead of 2hrs as expected during changing the oil in my car, in addition the didn't washte car.Thank you for the feedback about your recent visit here at Herb Chambers BMW of Boston. Terrible service

Both BMW of Medford and Boston have no concerns for the clients. After they told me my car was ready they had me waiting for forty minutes.… They could not find my car. And when they did, they never washed it. And for the record, no one explained to me what was done to it.Berardino, we're disappointed to hear about your experience. by AW on 08/09/2024To start, the car that I originally placed a down payment on was simultaneously being sold to another customer. When I arrived to provide the final cash payment and retrieve the car, I was told that it had been promised to another customer.… As a result, I worked with the salesman and dealership to try to find a suitable alternative substitute. Upon finding a substitute, all payment transactions were completed the following day, and the car was slated to be ready for pick that evening. However, there were additional issues with the pick up of the car: 1) an inspection of the car had not been completed by the dealership and therefore the car did not have an inspection sticker. The next day, at an inconvenience, I took the car in on my own and got an inspection; 2) a second car key was not provided with the car. An additional key was found but it had a dead battery. Additionally, the BMW access key card didn’t work. As such, to date, neither the key card nor key have been programmed to my car; 3) none of the "swag" (mats, liner, hat or cup) that was offered as a concilliatory measure for the mix up on the original sale, was included in the car upon my pick up; and 4) after driving the car for less than 2 days and just over 50 miles, the check engine light (on what is supposed to be a Certified Pre Owned Vehicle) illuminated on the car and it had to be taken in for a repair/status check. Overall this experience was extremely disappointing. There was confusion from the start - regarding selling me a car that wasn't available. I appreciate that the dealership found me a similar car and made a very slight price adjustment. However, the delivery process was terrible. The car was not inspected, didn't have the most basic components- like a secondary key or even a owners manual. Last, the items that were promised as a "mea culpa" on behalf of the dealership, were missing. In the grand scheme of things, the value of the missing items is deminimus when compared to the purchase price of the car, however the value in those items was to be measured by a customer satisfaction experience. The lack of attention to detail and overall care is frustrating. Further, the "check engine" came on in the car after me owing it for 2 days and driving it for less than 75 mikes. It is extremely concerning because it indicates to me that I was sold a vehicle that was not comprehensively checked and repaired but was sold as a CertifiedPreOwnedVehicle. On August 8th, I indicated to a sales manager that I intended to return the car as I was still within the 5 day money back guarantee return window. The manager implored me to allow the service department to attempt to correct the engine light issue. I agreed have the car serviced, but also informed the same manager that if the repair is not satisfactory, I retain my right to return the car for the full puchase price and any associated costs, to which he agreed. Overall, this process has been frustrating, difficult, defective, disappointing, and unsatisfactory. Apologies were offered after every misstep. However, rather than apologies , I would have preferred competenceThank you for the detailed review.
