The Only Place to Buy a New Toyota in the Annapolis Area

If you live in the Annapolis area, Koons Toyota is the only place to buy your new Toyota. From the moment I first entered this dealership, I was warmly greeted and immediately treated like a family member. I was extremely fortunate to be… introduced to Austin, my Sales Representative and Product Specialist. Austin listened to my questions regarding the purchase of a new RAV4 Hybrid, and clearly explained all of the differences between the various trim lines. He next took me for a test drive, and fully answered all of my questions as we drove around Annapolis. When we returned to Austin’s office, he provided a pricing sheet which clearly described all of the itemized costs of the vehicle, along with a sheet that detailed the RAV4’s specifications. I also want to thank Ron, the General Sales Manager, for explaining the delivery schedule and financing. Ron too was a great pleasure to work with. Bottom line: (1) Koons Annapolis Toyota is the one place I will ever by a Toyota, (2) Austin is the go-to sales representative, (3) you will greatly enjoy the process of buying your new Toyota at this dealership, and finally (4) this was a 5 star experience.

Rude/laughing Salesman and Manager!!
by Disappointing Sales People on 09/07/2021It was bad enough to get poor service from Toyota of Waldorf, I took a chance on Annapolis. The salesman and manager did not know my wife, sitting in the guest area, heard them talking about me saying disrespectful things and laughing. I… was trying to buy an SUV, I kept being told the inventory is low, they cannot get any vehicles from any of the other 4 Koons Toyota dealers, they told me the price was jacked up 5K over inventory, were not willing to work with me. And to hear about what my wife heard them say and do, made us never want to do business ever again with any Toyota dealer. We went to Lexus and got a deal that I am happy with.I sincerely apologize you didn’t have a better experience with us, and I’m sorry we couldn’t reach a deal. I am also sorry to hear you felt treated poorly by our team. This certainly isn’t the kind of buying experience we aim to deliver. The service was great, he was able to get me the exact car I wanted at a good price, and got me a great deal on my trade in. The entire service staff… was very nice and helpful. by Victor Ayala on 02/01/2020My wife and I just bought a certified used car from Koons Toyota. Our sales guy was Aladin Z. He is a knowledgeable and Very attentive man. I never felt a pressure to buy right away, he was always making sure for us to feel comfortable… with our choice for our budget and very understanding of it. I went twice to see him, first to check it out by myself and the second with my wife. The only reason why I went back was his honesty. The whole team there made our experience felt pleasant even the finance rep, Nicole, made it feel even better. Not to mention buying and financing a car with a two year old running all over the place wasn’t easy, all in which I thank everyone for putting up with that rough evening. He had been with me for whole time without assisting with another customer at same time. He gave me many choice for me to… check out different model of Tacoma from SR to Limited. I picked Tacoma TRD Sport 4x4 with Double Cab which is fit well for my family of 5. Also, he recommended me to check out Tundra for last option if Tacoma SRD Sport 4x4 with Double Cab isn't work out. He would let me to do alot of drive testing and see which truck I like better. He had alot of patient with me because he want to make sure that I am a valuable customer for Koons Annapolis Toyota. I had a hard decision between Tacoma SRD Sport 4x4 with Double Cab and Tundra SR5 with Double Cab as well. It was so tough decision for me to pick between two trucks but they would let me to bring Tacoma home for more drive testing with my family and see if they will love it or not. After I finished with my drive testing with my family in two days later and I decided to purchase Tacoma SRD Sport 4x4 with Double Cab. Also, we were able to do the negotiation for the best price without any restrictions. I am glad that they did not have to do any high pressure vehicle sales tactics with me. I would give my high recommendation to do the business with Koons Annapolis Toyota again in the future for my next new vehicle.Car purchase from Joe V

I was looking for a new car and a friend recommended that I call Chris Zook at Koons of… Annapolis after being very frustrated with my experience at other dealerships. Chris is in used car sales, but assisted me with my new car. He was absolutely amazing, honest and forthright, and helpful. I could not have had a better experience at this dealership. Everyone was very professional - from the finance person (Latoya Gardner) to the sales manager (Scott Snyder) and of course, our salesman (Chris Zook). We will probably never buy from another dealership after this experience and would recommend them to everyone.William Gable was incredible to work with

If you are looking to buy… a 2016 Sequoia like me, or any other toyota, seek William Gable at Toyota of Annapolis. Also worth noting, he was very polite throughout the entire process. by paul6791 on 12/05/2015Worst customer service experience ever! I went to this dealer for the WOW pricing and the up to 125% of kbb on trades. Not only was my trade offer not 125% (up to, I know), but it was 2k below the lowest pricing listed by kbb and the car… was in great shape. They eventually matched a Carmax appraisal I had (that was 5k above their first offer), but when my sister voiced her concern with their shady trade valuing practices, the sales manager (Steve Chase) called her nasty and said the deal was off. She was not rude or nasty and did not raise her voice, at all. When I said the car was for me and I wanted to do the deal, the sales manager said, "I am not selling you a car, have a nice day." - and the salesmen handed me the keys to my car and said "sorry." I spoke with someone in customer relations who was apologetic and said that I could get the same car in Virginia, but for about 1k more than the initial deal. What a joke. I ended up going to a different Toyota dealer the same day, got exceptional customer service, AND an even better price on the car I wanted. I also filed a complaint with Toyota about their horrible customer service. Please, as someone who has never written a negative review, DO NOT go to this dealer. It will save you time and trouble!Unscrupulous Pricing
by pneufvvich on 01/05/2015Our experience with Koons Toyota was horrible. Every rank of the sales staff were unknowledgeable of their own product's sales offers. They refused to honor their advertised Wow price and TrueCar fair price because we wanted a fair value… for our trade-in. Their haggling process is bureaucratic, messy and condescending towards buyers that have done their research. They only appraise/offer trade-ins at 'fair' Kelly blue book value, regardless of the condition of the trade-in. Other dealers offered $3,000+ over their trade in offer. We'll never return to this dealership to purchase a car.A long tiring day
by jeffford on 07/01/2010I was in the market for a late model mini van to replace the Grand Caravan I am driving, I found a nice VW Routon on the web site and took the 1 hour trip from the eastern shore to see the van. I was greeted in the parking lot by a lot… person, and was told he would find a salesman for me, A eager young salesman met me and my wife at the van a set up a test drive. after the test drive a salesman that had ansered the phone to give directions took over. we went into the office, that was by the way extremly hot do to malfunctioning A/C we waited for sometime to get an offer on our trade. was offered $7,500 for a 06 SXT grand Caravan that KBB had at $8,600 wholesale trade. we left as this was not enough for or trade and later found out that Koons was offering 125% of KBB fair condition. I called back to speak with the sales rep who checked with his boss, He called back and said yes they did offer 125% BUT they deducted $850 for the milage on the van ( KBB takes milage into account when they give value) they double dipped this. they deducted $460.00 for inspection of my van and another $500 for detailing, so I was told there $7,500 was off by $60 . I told the sales rep to have a nice day and introduced him to the sound of a phone hang up. I am still looking for a new van and have got several other quotes on my van in the 8.5k to 9k range. so much for there add of 125%.military
by researcher9 on 09/19/2008This has to be the worst experience of my entire 7 day and 7 night purchase. We had 3 truck deals on the table and had been there for about 6 hours. The sales rep, Rick Munker, was very easy to deal with and kept a great attitude but he… could not close the final deal so we went to the main office to continue the process and the sales manager was very aggressive from the start. He had the "been there done that" attitude and began speaking to us in a demeaning tone of voice. After being in the military for 23 years the last thing I can tollerate is being talked to like I am 5 years old and never bought a car before. He never mentioned the active duty military discount and offered me 5000 for a 2003 fully loaded Explorer Sport Trac in perfect condition with extra features. After about 5 minutes of his attitude I remembered that I was the customer and he was the sales person and left the building. He was yelling after me that he had the market on the Tundra and I would have to come back to him to buy one eventually. I almost decided not to ever buy a Toyota again but Matt Dillon at the Toyota dealership in Glen Burnie, MD proved once again that Toyota has class. Signed "ask the Chief" USNI think you may have the wrong dealership. I happen to work for the dealership and no one works here and has never worked here by that name. We dont do business that way. Make sure you have your facts before writing something this distasteful. Unless you actually work at another dealership thats trying to make us look bad.
My New Toyota Highlander

I've been buying cars for years and have never experienced anything close to this.I sent an email in to get a price quote and within minutes my sales person Scott Kinsley responded. He gave me a price… quote that no one could touch so I was a little apprehensive about making the trip to the dealership. When I got there the car was waiting for me already cleaned and looked perfect. Fully expecting something to go wrong, I was amazed that the quote Mr. Kinsley gave me was spot on. Perfect salesperson. Not pushy and very professional. And it was the exact car I wanted. All I can say to the owners of this dealership is bravo!!!! I was in and out in less then an hr and left with the the best feeling I've ever experienced purchasing anything!! Anyone looking for a new Toyota needs to experience the same thing I did. Bravo Koons Toyota and Scott Kinsley!!!!.
