I asked the same gentleman were the restroom was and he took the time to show me. I then started looking for a… sales man, and the same man Tim Rome was standing by the door smiling. I asked him if he was a sales consultant and he replied "yes, how can I help you". The rest with Time Rome is history. He took the best care of me the whole time other than when I had to sit with a wonderful Director of the Vehicle Exchange Program Valarie Lawton. I can only say, I was having fun the whole time at Mills Chevrolet in Davenport. From the first door all the way up to when I drove off. It was fast, fun, and friendly. Wow. Thank you so much.Nope
by Bhouser on 09/07/2019My son was looking for a new car and knew what model he wanted. Mills had the exact car right down to the color. Our salesman, Miguel, was very polite and seemed eager to help. Everything was going well until the sales manager, Ayb,… stepped in. He was not a help in any way. He talked down to us and treated us as though we were ignorant. His attitude was this is what we will do and it is as good as you are going to get so you might as well sign now. The car at the time did have some good rebates (from the factory) but he wasn't going to offer anything above that. We showed him prices from another dealer but of course in our stupidity we just didn't understand what that price meant and we would not get that price. The price they offered on our trade-in was also a gift he was giving us and we wouldn't get better. We left. A week later my son is driving the exact same car from another dealer at a better deal. I had a similar experience a couple of years ago when I was looking for a new truck. The scene played out exactly the same and I bought from another local dealer. Arrogance, rudeness and lack of truthfulness will not sell me a car....ever.Worst Experience
by mgrubham on 08/15/2019PLEASE READ IN FULL...Sorry, this will be a little long. I recently and just recently purchased a vehicle from this dealership. Ive been searching for months as I have a rear facing beautiful little daughter and another daughter due in 7… weeks. We definitely needed a larger vehicle! I was looking for this particular vehicle and am willing to look anywhere in the US if the price is worth the trip. I did find 3 of the exact same vehicles. 2016 White GMC Yukon... All 3 of the vehicles were similar, the other two had about 4000 less miles, it really just broke down to the distance I needed to travel to purchase it. The prices... all the exact same, as I have documentation on all three showing this so you dont just have to take my word for it. It was a blind buy as I had to travel 5 hrs to get the vehicle... not to mention I had to rent a one way car and stay in a hotel. So I was just taking all of there words for the condition of the vehicle.... and of course it was in great shape and didnt have anything wrong with it. THIS VEHICLE FULLY PASSED THERE CERTIFIED INSPECTION....Upon arrival, I had to set for quite sometime before I was helped. I did go and take a look in the meantime and noticed the tires were balding in odd places on the front two tires. I asked about the alignment and of course they told me it was completely in alignment. Then they told me it was more than likely from the tires not being rotated... Which is odd with the tires balding in odd spots and not the whole tire. Along with this there were no floor mats in the vehicle and of course they only had one key fob because they could not find the other one... They did end up finding it and sending me that thank god. I didnt leave the dealership until after 3:00 and when I went to start the vehicle it was on below empty after me being told they would have if filled up and ready to go. Here comes the bad part. From the minute I left the dealership, every turn and bump I took the drivers seat shifted and moved. I also have had a drivers assist warning light on from minute one. I thought to myself, i will just take it to a dealership here in town and maybe it is just an error and a quick fix. I have now taken it to 3 of the largest GM dealerships in town and 1 of them being the largest in the Country... Everyone has came back with the same thing... THERE IS NO WAY THIS SHOULD OF AND COULD HAVE PASSED ANY INSPECTION... I then took it for a couple more opinions and took the vehicle to 2 smaller privately owned mechanics who also concurred with this.. $4000.00 WORTH OF WORK NEEDS TO BE DONE TO THIS. STRUTS ARE COMPLETELY SHOT AND THAT IS WHAT IS CAUSING THE TIRES TO WEAR IN ODD SPOTS AS WELL AS THE SEAT NEEDING TO BE FIXED AND A DRIVER ASSIST CENSOR IS COMPLETELY BROKEN. There fix..... they sent me a $53.50 censor and that was it. I talked to the GM multiple times as well as THE OWNER. I told them I would be willing to drive back to them if they could help alleviate some of the cost. I WAS TOLD BY ALL THAT THEY WILL NOT DO ANYTHING MORE THAN WHAT THEY DID. KEEP IN MIND THEY GOT THERE ASKING PRICE AND SOME!!! BUYER BE WARE........................................... I KNOW WHEN YOU BUY A USED CAR, IT COMES AS IS BUT NOT IF THE VEHICLE IS NOT IN THE CONDITION THEY SAID IT WAS IN. I do have there certified inspection showing they passed all of this completely in the green...not even in the yellow. AND NOW I HAVE 5 CERTIFIED INSPECTIONS SHOWING IN THE RED! i HAVE DOCUMENTATION ON ALL OF THIS! EVERY EMAIL...EVERY BIT OF PAPERWORK...EVERYTHING.Easy and Quick with Great Service

I ended up finding a car I loved and never felt pressured to buy. A… quick errand turned into a new car and I couldn't be happier! By far the best experience I have ever had at a dealership. Definitely recommend stopping here - ask for Will!Upgrading our current car
by Jordan on 03/22/2019I would just like to say that we had tremendous service when we came in to possible upgrade our vechile Josh Park along with Marty were amazing people to work with both of them listened to our ideas of what color and vechile we would like… to get into and both made our 2 kiddos laugh which is A+ in our book we ended up trading our Chevy surburban 2012 in for a 2019 Chevy Malibu! My husband (Nick Kriner) who also works at mills in Davenport and myself would definitely recommend people to come to mills if there looking to purchase a car or even get your car worked on !!Kept in the dark
by JL13 on 02/07/2019I went through Mills to buy my first car and have been so disappointed by my quality of service. The check engine light came on as I was pulling out of the lot after purchasing. They said to get in touch and they would fix it. Great, right?… Except no one would return my calls or emails for a week. Once I finally made an appointment to bring my car in, I had to wait two hours for someone to help me get a loaner car and trade my keys in so they could take it to get serviced. My sales person forgot about me and didn’t follow up with me until the very very end. I’m still in the dark on my repair and when my car will be done. They didn’t have to fix it but offered so I took them up on it and now have no idea when it will be done. When your speciality is customer service, it seems odd to never return a voicemail or email. I’ve tried to stop in and the people I’m trying to meet with just happen to be gone that day.Great Dearlership!

The shining star in all of this was Nate Woolsey. He patiently followed up on all… of my questions (I always have a lot) and kept the communication flowing from my initial contact right through until I picked up the vehicle. He even answered an email I sent to him on his day off. I drove 5.5 hours one-way to Mills Chevrolet for this vehicle. I wouldn't have done that if I didn't feel comfortable with the transaction or the dealership. Thank you Nate and Mills Chevy for making car buying a fair and fun experience again!Mills cares about their customers.

I started doing business w/ them over 15 years ago when I bought my Cavalier and have told my whole family to shop there. The… important thing to me is they take time to help after the sale. Some dealerships will be nice and helpful before you purchase, but the real test is after the deal is done and they have made their money will they have time for you?? Not at Mills. If you dont remember how work the gadgets on your new car (i.e. setting the clock, understanding Onstar or XM) they will take as much time as needed to be sure you understand any and all questions. They are fair on price and trades. My sister had bad credit and they even got her approved for a car loan. Check them out and you wont be sorry.Great Experience at Mills Chevrolet

I purchased a low-mileage 2010 Chevy Traverse from Mills this month and was very pleased from start to finish with how smooth the transaction… was. My wife was in dire need of a new vehicle. We test drove the Traverse and really liked everything about it. After looking at the cost of a new vehicle equipped with all the options we wanted, we decided that a low-mileage, certified vehicle was within our budget. After searching the internet through cars.com, I found three possibilities in the color, trim and options we were looking for. I live on the West Coast and contacted all three dealers late at night via e-mail expressing interest in the Traverse(s). To my surprise I had an e-mail response from Mills within minutes of my inquiry. The following morning Nate Woosley picked up the ball and ran with it. He sent me a (very) detailed e-mail that included every option on the vehicle along with a history report. The other dealers were not nearly as responsive, insisting that I come down to their dealership to test drive the vehicle. I traded 18 e-mails and several phone calls with Nate throughout the week of the purchase. I found him to be very responsive, professional and helpful through this transaction from 2000 miles away. I even asked him to go out and smell the car and look for any telltale signs that the car belonged to smoker! Satisfied that this Traverse was exactly what we were looking for, I put down a small deposit and booked a flight to Moline, IL. Nate was waiting in terminal when my flight arrived with the Traverse in the parking lot. We took a short drive back to the dealership where all the necessary paperwork was waiting. The purchase transaction took less than an hour and I was on the road with the vehicle. After driving 2000 miles through some pretty rough winter weather, I was very pleased with how the Traverse handled and the comfort of the trip. My wife is thrilled with her new kid-mover and I am very pleased with how easy and efficient it was to work with Nate and the team at Mills. Thanks again for all your help!Great experience!

I called Mills and spoke with Nate Woolsey, he immediately answered all questions I had. We drove to Moline (about 1… 1/2 hrs away) with our two young daughters. The vehicle was ready and waiting for our test drive upon our arrival. When we returned the negotiations and subsequent paper work were handled in a timely fashion. Nate allowed our family to remain in the childrens area for the entire transaction, which was extremely helpful. I would like to thank Nate and Mills Chevrolet for their attention to detail, and their willingness to accommodate our family during this excellent experience. I will definitely recommend Mills Chevrolet to anyone looking to purchase in the future. If the opportunity arises, our family will return business to Mills and Nate. *A brief side note...special thanks to Dan Johnson, business manager, for allowing our oldest daughter the chance to have a part in the buying process.
