Horrible Wait and Horrible Attitude
by Christopher on 11/08/2023We made an Appt and still we had to wait for almost 2.5 hours just for an oil change and tire rotation. And to know we picked the first appointment of the day. We had to book this months in advance and we don't understand why there's a… long wait for an oil change. I didn't appreciate how they try to upsell me for unnecessary services (air filter, new tires, etc.) during check out when we just bought our SUV brand new early this year. Most of the people who work at Hyundai Elgin have a bad attitude. Speaking Spanish should not be the only reason why you hire someone. You should hire people because they have the skills needed and appealing personality to keep bringing back customers.Christopher, it appears the impression you received during your recent visit at our dealership does not reflect our standards of customer service. Great service…Timely process
by Tiffany on 10/19/2023Elgin Genesis is an a part of the Costco auto program. This took the stress out of purchasing a vehicle. The honored the program and did not attempt to push me in a direction that I didn’t want to go in. Katie was very knowledgeable of the… vehicle and when she didn’t know the answer to something, she asked for support. I appreciate not spending the entire day at the dealership. After test driving the car, I was in the finance office within minutes. Several times after purchasing the vehicle I received follow up calls to she if I had any questions or concerns. There was even a follow up visit scheduled to answer any questions and highlight features of the vehicle.Thank you for the amazing five-star rating, Tiffany! Excellent Customer Service!
by Tiffany on 09/12/2023My service advisor, Andy, was very attentive. I needed a new tire and had made an emergency appointment online (late at night, the night before) to replace it the next day. I did not know I needed to order it from parts first so it was not… in stock. We discussed some comparable brands and I decided on one but then Andy went above and beyond and surprised me by getting a matching tire to my other 3. He kept me informed all throughout the wait. He even directed me to a quiet place where I could take a zoom meeting while I waited for my tire to be replaced. He was amazing.
