  • Loooong waits

    My recent experience was my second at this location. Both times, my wait was EXCESSIVE. The staff was friendly and the wait area was comfortable but as soon as my 3 years of complimentary service is up, I’ll be switching to a more efficient service center.

  • Why does it take so long?

    I called for an appt in Dec '22 and was given May 4th appt which I thought was nuts. I received my repaired car on June 16th only to return it on June 19th because of a new noise. Wrong parts had been ordered twice; had to wait for the next shipment twice. My car was returned to me for a second time on June 27th without noises and had been washed and vacuumed. She looked all sparkly and brand new! Melissa was great in keeping me informed with the good and the bad and kept a pleasant disposition through these frustration circumstances. Five days into this ordeal, she called me back in to pickup a Loaner for the duration. Thank goodness because the rental cost (in spite of top tier Hyundai Corp Warranty Contract specifying a Loaner) was killing me!! Seth rode with me on June 19th to hear the new noise. He admitted the new noise was foreign to him but he figured it out! I think this was not a typical experience with them and am willing to give a second chance now that they are in their own facility.

    I made an appointment several weeks ago for an oil change. A week later I'm looking at my account on the Hyundai website and there was a note about a recall. I went down to the dealer (2 miles from my house) and had a bizarre conversation with the service person. She told me that I should make the appointment for the recall when I bring my car in for the oil change. She also said something about me having to make the appointment in person. While I was standing in front of her asking to make the appointment. Then I'm told I need to talk with the parts department about the recall. Parts tells me that this is a Service task, but order the part for me anyway. I drop my car off the night before and put my keys in the dropbox. I wrote "oil change" on the envelope. A little before noon the next day I get an email that they have some recommended service for me. I go to the website and agree. Less than five minutes later I get a text that my car is ready. They obviously didn't do the extra service, but I wasn't charged for it so it's not a big deal. When I get to the dealership, I'm informed that they didn't do the recall repair because I only wrote "oil change" on the envelope. They also told me that it would take a half hour to do it "right now." Over an hour later, I got my car back. This pretty much screwed up my entire afternoon. When Peacock owned the dealership, they would have called or texted me about the recall to see if I wanted it done.

    It was easy! I thought it would be a long process of checking in and checking out. But they were expecting me. So I simply showed my ID and dropped my key off. It was the same with pickup. I also experienced a much shorter wait than I expected.

    Just purchased a new Elantra Hybrid from AutoNation in Savannah. What a pleasant experience. From our salesperson to the sales manager to the finance manager made the whole process seamless. They were able to make me the deal that our local dealer could not. Definitely worth the 1.5 hours drive.

  • Purchase new car

    From the moment I entered the parking lot we were greeted by a nice salesman. His name is Q. We knew the vehicle we were interested in. We told him he grab some keys. We took a few cars out for test drive we found the car that was suitable for us. We went in made a deal was very easy. Everyone was very kind and caring Q was just amazing. Would not hesitate buying another car with AutoNation Of Savannah. When moving and buying a car from the new place you live in can be a bit scarey however doing business with autonation was like doing business with family and Q was outstanding.

    I was due for an oil change and tire rotation, and general check up for my 2017 car. It was easy to make an appointment when I called and I received a number of reminders that were very helpful. When I arrived, the temporary service area was well set up and the associates were extremely helpful and professional. My wait time was as promised in a clean and comfortable waiting area. Was I surprised when my car came out all washed, nice and shiny! Prices are reasonable, and as quoted. I’m extremely satisfied with the service!
