  • Lack of excellent customer service from manager

1 out of 5 starsby Customer since 2013 on 06/13/2025

Their service intake managers need more training on listening to customers and delivering unmatched customer services. Today’s customers see their time as something to be cherished and guarded -- and I have to say the manager (woman) before close on 6/12/25 did not have the leadership skills to offer good customer service. Was extremely rude talking about a customer in front of them before they left with another employee loudly, turning her back towards the customers and using improper language. The other employee (gentle man) handled the situation so much better than the unskilled manager and made the situation better.

  • Worst service in the country

Do yourself a favor. Go anywhere else other than Jackson Acura. They are liars and crooks. Rodney the Service Manager is the leader of it. Beware.

  • Terrible

1 out of 5 starsby Sam on 03/26/2024

My 2015 Acura TLX sounded like a diesel. The dealer said it was the crankshaft bearings and that Acura had a recall on it. I waited about 6 weeks for the recall work to be done. However, after the work, the car still sounded like a diesel and the dealer said they didn't know what it was. I took it to an independent Japanese car repair shop. They diagnosed the root cause in 2 mins and fixed it! Shame on this dealership!

  • Great service

    5 out of 5 starsby Jessy1 on 02/25/2021

So happy with the service received from Jackson Acura on my 2012 MDX. I wouldn’t want to go to any other Acura dealer in Atlanta!

  • Horrible customer service with a nasty attitude

1 out of 5 starsby William Da Costa on 10/31/2019

Horrible customer service at the service center by Yvonne Russell. I went in to check on the warranty of my battery. On the Acura battery it says 2/17 with a 100 months warranty so I went to Acura to check on it. Arriving at the place Mrs Yvonne Russell rushed me in with some questions about the car and never tried to listen to what I was really there for. While we were talking she picked up he cell phone disregarding my time as a customer. I said that the car was not starting and she automatically assumed I needed a new battery. After we discussed she sent a guy to check on the battery but not on its warranty as I asked her to. She was rushing through a computer screen saying that I never purchased a battery from Acura. While I was waiting I insisted for her to take a look at the battery itself and explained to her that we have had bad experiences with this same dealership before but this time I would like them to at least listen to what my concern was. Before I even finished talking she asked me why I was back again if I had bad experiences. ( I was there because its an Acura Dealership and I drive an Acura and was trying to check on the battery warranty) I could not believe an Acura employee could have such a bad attitude and ask these questions to a unsatisfied returning customer. I asked to talk to a manager so Dzmitry and another gentleman came and tried to make things better. They were able to explain that if I am not the actual person to buy the battery the warranty does not work. So since this battery was purchased by its previous owner the warranty had expired. They offered to change the battery in 5 minutes. Their price was $150. At that point I did not want to have anything to do with her or the company she works with. I took my car to Advance Auto parts and paid the same price for a battery.
    • William, after speaking with both Yvonne and Dmitry, your battery was out of the 4-year, 50,000 mile warranty and would cost $149.95 to replace. Your service advisor, Yvonne, tried to show you this and explain this to you on her computer, by showing there was no purchased battery from Acura which means that Acura won't pay to replace it. Like Yvonne stated, we'd be happy to replace your battery but Acura was not going to pay for it.

  • Super service

    5 out of 5 starsby RLosu71 on 04/10/2018

Iesha and service manager, without being asked, took the time to review my charges and found that the service I needed was covered under my 70000 mile warranty . They saved me over $400. I was very grateful. That being said, this not the exception but the norm from my previous experiences with their service department. Thank-you for your efforts.

  • Terrible service

1 out of 5 starsby Citiboy on 02/11/2017

Had my car serviced a month ago with transmission fluid change. A few days later had the issue of transmission fluid noise. Management insist there is no issue with their service and ask customer to pay for service again. Ridiculous and ripoff!! Stay away as far as you can !!!
  • Unprofessional Service Advisor Shaleem Farhat

1 out of 5 starsby lailamorrow on 03/11/2010

After giving service advisor Shaleem Farhat a low service review, he called me (the customer) to confront me. I have been dealing with bad customer service at Jackson Acura, but this took it to a new low. I found Mr. Farhat to be very unprofessional and down right rude. What happened to the customer is always right? I will no longer take my car to Jackson Acura Service Department. I will find help elsewhere.

I just wanted to express my deep appreciation to your entire service staff, particularly Mr. Nick Covino and his associated service technicians, for the outstanding service I received Friday, May 6, 2011. I have received excellent service from Jackson Acura in the past; for instance, Mr. Covino made sure the technician who had previously worked on my car for its 180,000 mile service also was assigned to replace the timing belt. This instance, however, was particularly exceptional. Mr. Covino extemporaneously set aside some service time for me on a busy Friday afternoon in order that I could get a flat tire replaced and periodic oil change, allowing me to get back on the highway as soon as possible. The work was finished in little over an hour with a complimentary car wash and vacuum, which is always appreciated. When I looked in my car's trunk later that afternoon, I discovered to my surprise that the service technician(s) had not only bolted my mini spare tire back in place in my car's trunk, but they had thoughtfully replaced the lug wrench and associated other tools inside a pouch to keep them from rattling around. In addition, they were kind enough to glue a piece of foam rubber on the underside of the particle board trunk liner to prevent it from rattling against the metal jack. Both these acts of thoughtfulness were unexpected but very much appreciated! I always appreciate the commitment your dealership shows to its customers with its welcoming attitude by all of your staff, comfortable waiting lounge and private telephone work areas, its nice array of complimentary snacks and refreshments, and conscientious follow-up phone calls by Meredith. What impressed me the most about this service appointment, however, was the extra initiative and commitment to excellence that was demonstrated to the owner of a 16-year old car. Mr. Jackson, as you know, we live in a hurried, cynical age, and particularly in a large metropolitan area like Atlanta, personalized customer service has all too often become a thing of the past. Yet the commitment to quality and attention to detail demonstrated by Mr. Covino, Meredith, and the entire service team at Jackson Acura made me, the owner of a 1995 Integra LS, feel just as valued as if I were the owner of a 2011 RL! Jackson Acura is truly an exceptional experience!
  • Pleased But Not Surprised

I have now had my previously owned 07 TL for about five months. I have been a Honda person since 1988 and have always looked forward to owning an Acura TL. Ever since Shaleem Farhat was assigned to me and my vehicle I have been nothing but please and gratified that I steeped into Jackson Acura. He is a quiet but friendly fellow who crosses all the T" and dots all the I's to make sure I understand what is to be done and what has been done. He went out of his way to help me find out why my phone stopped working. He was quick to offer me a loaner when the air conditioning hoses broke and had to be fixed. He always makes me feel as if I am the only person in the place he has to concern himself with, even when he is with another customer. He makes waiting for his service seem like a privilege. When he is occupied he is quick to get someone else on my issues. I love the fact that coming to Jackson is itself a destination. Even getting up early is not a problem. Hot drinks and a bagel or a nutrition bar are available, along with newspapers while I wait. This is a dealership and service one dreams of. It is well worth the eight additional miles I must drive from downtown north instead of going to Union City. The new cars may be ugly to me, but Shaleem, Jackson Acura, and the service team are a beautiful thing. It would be nice if he and his twenty something colleagues would ask me if I mind them calling me by my first name. But that is a minor annoyance us 60 somethings must endure. I have not experienced anything like this service from any other dealership. But others has said the same to me so, I am pleased to experience it for myself, but not surprised.
