Alex was receptive to meeting the areas that I was focused on. We test drove multiple models of the VW… Jetta I expressed interest in. Alex answered all of my questions and did not pressure me to purchase additional options or features that I wasn't interested in. I was comfortable with my final purchase price which appears to reflect what others are paying for similarly equipped Jettas. I truly appreciate the attention by James and Glenn and the rest of the Service Advisor Team while in that day. I quickly built trust during my time working with Glenn; a very uncommon result when it comes to car service/repairs. In the end, I WILL be back!We hope everything was completed to your satisfaction. Worst experience ever

We bought our previous VW at another dealer but since moving in the area this has been our reference for service and, based on the good assistance we always received, we thought the level would have… been the same while buying a new car. Big Mistake!Besides the fact it took 5 hours to get out with our new car, the entire process has been extremely uncomfortable in some way. We went to trade our Beetle and get a new GTI. Eli, the sales guy, was welcoming and we went for a test drive. When we came back we talked a little bit about our expectation, and then he disappeared to go talk to the sales manager and issue an offer. Well, the offer was 3000$ higher than the advertised price and our trade had been valued 2500$ less than KBB. Then we started haggling and Eli asked us to sign the deal so he could go to the sales manager and have it approved. I said that the sales manager could come to us and we could sign together. Eli disappeared again and came back with Fran. Frank has been extremely rude to us, justifying the price difference as “internet customer” and “walk in customer” price (hey Frank, a customer is a customer!) and the value for our trade being so low not for their fault but because the “used car specialist” was at home and the system returned that value. In 2 minutes I went on KBB website from my mobile and get the fair price. At that point we were almost ready to walk out, but then Frank disappeared and Eli has been kind enough to make us stay. After that, we started evaluating our financing and leasing options. We opted for the lease since financing rates where extremely high (I have a +800 credit and still they couldn’t give me the prime rate). The business mgr was quite kind but become very pushy while trying to sell additional service and basically wished us bad luck with our decision to skip them. Only reason we didn’t walk away is that we have literally no time to start again the process at another dealer. For sure, next year when I’ll have to trade my Edge and I’ll have to choose between the Touareg or the Atlas Jim Ellis Kennesaw will certainly not be the dealer I’ll go. The dealer where we bought our Beetle has a completely different team that is able to make feel your business appreciated.Love my car
by NECIE09 on 11/14/2017I had been looking for Audi A3 or A4 for about month. I had looked on Car Gurus and saw a few at either Atlanta Audi or Gwinnett Place Audi. I was in contact with someone and was setting this in motion, but the price was higher than what… I wanted to pay. He didn't want to come down on the price, so I started looking elsewhere. My husband had seen this A3 at Jim Ellis on Barrett Pkwy and we looked at it to see if the price was going to drop. I think it had dropped $650 from the time it had been there. I convinced my hubby to go and we went about 3:30, wenter and for my check from my bank and home about 6:30 with my new car. We negotiated a lower price, higher trade in for my car and 2 oil changes, albeit I think we should have gotten more. The Internet Sales Manager made us think that we would only get an oil change about every 10K miles?? We will see. Overall I'm happy about our deal. We were told what the price was, which was a little high, and we asked if there was anyway we could get a discount...we were told a very cold "no". I said to the service adviser that we were going to… shop for a better price and the answer was just "okay". That didn't sound to me like someone that wanted my business anyway, so we left & got what we needed somewhere else for 30% less of the cost. I don't think I'll be going at that dealer again.Best Service All Around

TDi Software Update & Recall Notice
by rickster9181 on 10/04/2017I was participating in the VolksWagen 2.0 Liter Diesel Recall Settlement, and the software update was performed at Jim Ellis VolksWagen in Kennesaw, GA. At the same time, they also took care of a recall notice on the same vehicle (2014… Jetta TDi Sport Wagon), to replace the Snow Flap on the Inlet Air Box Housing. Both items were taken care of in less than one day, and a loaner vehicle was provided so that I was not stuck at their facility for the duration of the repair.
