by Molly on 08/31/2024Short response: Overall, fantastic experience with the salesman JP but was iffy with the other person in regard to the finance paperwork. Long Response: The moment I walked in, I felt so welcomed. JP, the salesman, was absolutely… great. Showed me the cars I wanted to test drive, the features of the cars, and test drove each car. Super friendly and knowledgeable in the cars. Even the manager came by and shook my hands. I understand that this may be a normal experience when test driving, but my first time at another car dealership was the complete opposite. Once I felt ready to buy a car, I returned and ensured JP was there. He got me the car I wanted, and I love my car so much! When signing the papers, the finance guy wasn't as helpful. My parents were with me, so I had my dad go over the papers in better detail to ensure I knew what I was signing. I wish that process was better.Molly, we're glad to hear JP made your experience at Subaru of Pembroke Pines fantastic and that you love your new car! by Rick on 04/07/2024I went to buy a used subaru outback and it wasn't a good experience at all. First the used certified car was in rough shape. I would not think that it would be certified at all. After looking at that, I decided to get a new one. When we… started talking numbers it went bad. I owe $34,000 on my trade in and they were going to give me $29,000, which is less than any other place that I shoped around. When they brought me the paper work they put my car as 29,000 and the difference was $14,213.00. I think their people don't know how to do math at all, if you put that together is $43,213, that is $9213.00 that they were charging me for. That means they would of got my car for $19,787.00. Thats not how a good business messes people over. If you check BBB you will see the have a BIG F. Thats not good, but I see why.. the new car was only suppose to be $43000.00 but the told me the payments would be 72 month $950.00. I can drive a Mercedes for that. What are they thinking. I hope no one else falls for their traps. Also forgot to mention the finance lady had a bad attitude, because she was yelling out the office towards me. Good salesperson, but not good financial agent.
by JD on 03/29/2024On 03-23-2024, I went to SUBARU OF PEMBROKE PINES to buy, at residual value, the 2021 CROSSTREK we leased from Alex Caballero (excellent salesman, professional and helpful). Our problem started with the finance agent, Glenn Martin. This is… a very dishonest man, unprofessional, and just trying to scam customers. Very disappointed with his behavior. He was rude and just trying to force his will. He does not care about customers, he just cares about himself and "any" way to make a huge commission. He lacks a minimum of education and how to treat customers (I do not mean he has to be like a servant to customers, no, do not get me wrong). The time with this financial agent was the worst. I am pretty sure this man will make some customers never come back to SUBARU OF PEMBROKE PINES (even if the salesperson was awesome).JD, we're really sorry to learn about your experience with Glenn at Subaru of Pembroke Pines. We always aim for a high standard of customer service and it sounds like we missed the mark this time. Buying a car in these trying times

Extremely Disorganized
by Steve on 02/25/2022Very disorganized dealership. As soon as I agreed on a price and they found out I wasn't financing with them I was waiting around for 4 hours for them to run my paperwork. The salesperson also negotiated in bad faith, claiming subaru does… not offer a maintenance service package and therefore can't include this in the deal, only to find out many hours later that they do, in fact, have this program and proceeded to try to get me to sign up for it after the major paperwork was signed. During the time I was waiting they also accidentally shredded a woman's drivers license and left her high and dry, not taking any accountability. Going back into the final office it was easy to see how they managed to lose someone's license, as there was papers everywhere on the table and they'd often have to shuffle through them to find critical documents that I had given them. They also lost the keys to my trade-in vehicle at one point claiming I hadn't give them it yet. I also ended up paying way above sticker price. Overall bad experience at this dealership, although am very happy with the vehicle.Drove from Orlando to Pembroke Pines (Miami) to pick up car

It was way too expensive, but right now (late 2021), EVERY used car is way too expensive. It's the times we live in. Turns out, it needed some recall brake… work done and they would not let me drive it home that same day with recalled brakes. So I drove home without it. Julio saw to it that the car would be delivered next morning to Orlando—free of charge—to any Ford dealership I chose. The Edge arrived at 7:30 the next morning and the recall work was done. I've had it a week and am satisfied that I made the right choice. Julio was great!Hi Bill! Thanks so much for the review and for making the trip all the way out to see us!
