    **BUYER BE WARE OF THIS DEALERSHIP**  Found the Mercedes S550 I had been looking for at Mercedes of Naples. I live in North Carolina and after agreeing to pay a premium price, $2,500 over market pricing, with the expectation and knowledge that this car was purchased new by the original owners and service at this dealership, that this authorized Mercedes dealer, would sell a safe and properly reconditioned vehicle. I drove the car back to NC, only to realize the tire trend on the rear seemed minimal. In NC a car has to be inspected prior to registration. I took the car to be inspected and was told that the rear tires were below 3/32nds almost to the wear bar and would not pass inspection and needed to be replaced at a cost of $640 plus tax. I have only had the car 2 days. I called the dealership about the issue and my salesperson told me that Dean Smith, Certified Sales Manager, would not replace the tires since it passed the dealership inspection. I have requested several times to show me the inspection report where the tire tread was measured with a safe tire tread level. I have yet to receive that information. It is clear that this dealership is only concerned about profit versus customer satisfaction and safety. I was very fortunate that I didn’t encounter rainy weather on the drive home, given this is a rear wheel drive car, I could have hydroplaned or worse. David Wachs, General Manager, should be aware that this is what he is representing.  I wish I had investigated this dealership further to determine that they are no better than the Shady dealer on the corner selling used cars out of an old gas station. You would think a truly reputable dealership would be more mindful of the safety of the cars they are selling to the public. I hope this complaint and any negative reviews that I can post online warning other consumers is worth the $640 plus tax the dealership is saving to pad their bottom line.

Mr. Alden has gone above and beyond my expectations every single time. He has given honest and caring advice on the models I have purchased. There pricing has been very competitive and unparalleled standards in earning my business. He has made the difference in my decision making and worth the drive to Naples, FL.

    This is my second vehicle purchase from MB Naples. However the purchase of the GLE 350 was very different. The dealership had not on hand vehicles to test drive. However by working closely with my sales person I was completely comfortable with this approach. I want to give the entire dealership kudos for the handling of this sale and the great support on my previous vehicle.

    DO NOT BUY FROM Mercedes Benz of Naples, FL. I contacted the dealership based on an E550 Cabriolet they had on their website. I spoke to Alex G. the Internet sales manager. He told me when the car would be in (it was on the boat) and sent me the window sticker. All good so far. I told him I would be the participating in the USAA car-buying program to purchase the car. In case you are not familiar with this program it is for active duty military (I couldn’t afford a Mercedes when I was active duty), veterans (me) and the families of both. The program and incentive change from month to month. In July of 2013 the program offered ALL E class Mercedes at $1500.00 above invoice and an additional $2500.00 off. This would bring the price to $1000.00 below invoice. Alex informed me that they would only give me $2500.00 off of the sticker and no other incentives. A quick note, by being a USAA partner they do not have the choice to pick and choose which incentives they will honor and which ones they will ignore. So Alex gives me the song and dance this is a well-equipped E class and continues with if you were buying a 350 I could give you $7000.00 off and beat the incentives. He also stated I paid too much for my SL and he could discount an SL $20,000.00. Really? So you can deal on every car EXCEPT the one I want. Very convenient (for them). Alex advised me he would give me the $2500.00 incentive and that was it. I then contacted USAA to ask if the dealer had the option of NOT HONORING the program. Of course they do not. I called back spoke to Alex and he told me he would check. He called back to tell me he spoke with his manager and the owner happened to be in the office at that time and because it was such a well equipped hard to get vehicle (E class remember not an SL or S an E) they were not wiling to do anything but the $2500.00. After initially first contacting the dealership I received the following e mail from Frank C., the General Sales Manager: Dear Peter, My name is Frank C., General Sales Manager of Mercedes-Benz of Naples. I want to personally thank you for contacting us regarding your interest in a new Mercedes-Benz. To make sure that we are delivering to you an exceptional buying experience, I’d like your feedback. You see at Mercedes-Benz of Naples, we truly appreciate it when customers take time out of their busy days to provide us with some open, honest feedback about our products and services. Please write, telephone, or e-mail me with your comments. I will make sure that we do everything possible to meet all of your needs. All I need to get started is your feedback! I thank you for your time and look forward to serving you in the future. Sincerely, Frank C. General Sales Manager 501 Airport Rd S, Naples, FL 34104 [Phone numbers removed] I decided I needed to call Frank. This was also the suggestion of USAA. Frank was unavailable and wouldn’t be available. They took my name and had Luis A. contact me. Same story no deal but he would try to talk to Frank. Called back almost immediately telling me he spoke to Frank and they are unwilling to deal. I said but you are a USAA partner and required by Mercedes Benz USA to honor the price and incentives. I was told well we are not going to. We can pick and choose which cars to apply the incentives to. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM Mercedes Benz of Naples. They did not honor the program for which they are partners and by not doing that they are not supporting a program that supports the military and VETERANS. I found almost the exact car here in VA at Mercedes of Arlington. I went by and saw the car. I identified myself as a USAA member and was told by the salesman “that’s great you can have the car for $1000.00 below invoice”. I bought the car. That is the way it is supposed to work. Mercedes Benz of Naples is a fast-talking, dishonest, disreputable group of salespersons and managers. I am sure they will remove this review from their website but I will post it elsewhere.

When we entered this one-price agreement with USAA, we promised to offer this negotiated rate on all in-stock vehicles. Unfortunately, the vehicle that you chose was a one of a kind vehicle that was not in-stock. We apologize for this inconvenience but would like to let you know that we honor USAA 100%.     We were lucky to have had Alex G. as our salesman. He was patient, thorough and informative from beginning (emails from online searches) to end (a purchase of a 2013 Mercedes!). Finance was just as easy. They all worked within our parameters. My only recommendation is to use the data the customer brings in to you in terms of pay off amounts and trade in allowances in order to save a little frustration on the back end. But that was but a small bump in our experience. If you're in the market for a MB then I highly recommend the Naples office and Alex in particular. He is not pushy nor does he have a superiority complex. We felt very comfortable with him and we know he worked hard to get the deal we were looking for. We love our car! See your again for our yearly maintenance and for the purchase of our new car in about 3 to 4 years :)

    This time last year we purchased a certified, pre-owned Mercedes for our son for his 16th birthday. We were extremely satisfied with the sales process and we have continued to be extremely satisfied with the outstanding service we have received in the year following the sale. We have called our salesperson, Joe P., several times to either ask questions or request follow-up on some topics and he has always promptly returned our calls and his attention to detail has been superb. We are located approximately 12 hours from the dealership, but when the occasion calls to purchase a new or used vehicle...we will certainly call upon Joe P. and Mercedes-Benz of Naples

    Working with this dealership was so easy. In speaking with Robert Fioretti, I basicaly gave him a discription of what I was looking for and he found it. Since I reside in Ft. Lauderdale and the dealership is in Naples everything was done by email, fed-x and bank wire. I purchased this car with out test driving it or personally seeing it. And I love it. It is exactly what I was looking for. When I received the car it was clean like it had never been driven. I have had it now for 6 months and would buy another from them next time around.

    I recently went to MB of Naples to purchase a used C class and found the experience delightful. Alex G. and Patrick W. were professional, curteous, and went out of their way to accommodate me. I was so impressed that I ended up buying a a brand new one and absolutely love my car! More importantly, I feel great about the entire expreience. The level of respect they have for their customers is unprecedented. Who knew that buying a car could actually be enjoyable? I cannot say enough about how wonderful this dealership is! This is where all of my new cars will come from!

    A family member recommended Mercedes Benz of Naples to us. We drove from Boca Raton to Naples in search of a C250. Not only did we lease this vehicle but we ended up trading in my husband's Range Rover for a GL450 as well!. We cannot express our sincere gratitude for the service that David W. and his team provided us. Before coming to Naples, we went to a few dealers in the Ft Lauderdale/Boca area. The atmosphere at MB of Naples was completely different. David W. and Luis A. made us feel as if we were part of their extended family. They even had a person drive with us to Boca to pick up the Range Rover to save us another trip! We will recommend Mercedes Benz of Naples to everyone. It is worth the trip to Naples.

    I rarely write Yelp reviews but I had such a horrendous experience at this dealership last week that I have to share. I went in as a referral and initially was treated very well by my salesperson Curtiss. I found a car that I wanted and was in a rush. It was late in the day and the car had just come in. So I said "let me sleep on it" and went home. I called the next day to say that I did want the car, and asked if I needed to put a deposit on it to hold it until the next day which was the earliest I could come in and complete the transaction. I did not receive a call back. No problem, I went in the the next morning. I find out that the car had been sold. I was very frustrated as I offered a deposit to hold it but I figured....oh well, let's find something else. I went through a number of cars since the one I really wanted was gone. I finally settled on another vehicle and we agreed upon numbers. I had not actually driven the car yet so, of course, I asked to drive it before proceeding. At this point there was NO MENTION of anyone else looking at the car. We went on a 20 minute test drive and I was ready to go, even called and added the car to my insurance. We walk back in and someone stops our salesperson and this man had a very flippant attitude and said "the car is sold". Curtiss says "Really are you sure?" and this manager (Frank C) throws his hands up (in my line of sight) and gave a "not my problem" comment. At this point I was very upset but Curtiss asked me to let him go talk to management and try to fix it. So I wait. He says give the manager five minutes and he will come help us out. Fifteen minutes go by. Frank walks in and asks how I'm doing, to which I reply "not very well". And I mention that I was very frustrated that they had sold two cars out from under me and not even been apologetic about it. He then has the nerve to chastise me and explain "hey, you know, you looked at a lot of cars and took too long to make a decision, not my fault." This is when I decided to walk away. I have purchased and / or leased 17 cars in the last 20 years and I have NEVER had an experience like this. I will NEVER set foot in this dealer again, and by the way am VERY happy with the Audi I took delivery on from Audi of Fort Myers. Please do not go to this Mercedes Benz of Naples dealership....I am doing you a favor.
