    I bought my daughter a used car through Autonation Chevrolet Doral and was told there was a 90 day warranty in case it had any issues. The car had a few problems so I took it into an Autonation location closer to my home. When the local service agent contacted Doral, they refused to authorize the work because they said it was too expensive. They literally won't honor the warranty because their own company charges too much for service. Meanwhile, my daughter's car has been at the shop untouched for over a week and my contact at Doral won't take my calls. This level of fraud and lack of customer service is completely unacceptable. I absolutely do not recommend doing business with these people. Update April 2025: 4/14 update Doral finally submitted the warranty information to my local Autonation today. After assuring me everything was going to be handled quickly, the work was denied again. I've called multiple times and no one picks up the phone or calls me back. I can't say I've ever heard of this kind of fraud and incompetence all happening at once.     AutoNation Chevrolet Doral are [non-permissible content removed]! I purchased a used vehicle from AutoNation Chevrolet Doral on March 30th. Just five days later, I started experiencing starting issues and the check engine light came on. I immediately reached out to my sales rep, but they never picked up or responded to my messages. The next day, I took the car to their service department, and they quoted me $1,000 for repairs. When I mentioned I had just bought the car the week before, the service rep told me to come back on Monday. I took the car in on Monday, but today (Wednesday), a manager finally called and told me they wouldn’t honor any repairs. Despite me reporting the issue on the 5th day, I was told I had to bring the car in before the 5th day for them to take responsibility. I brought it in on the 6th day, but the manager said there was nothing they could do for me. The best they could offer was a $500 discount on a $1,500 repair bill. To make matters worse, they’re not doing a full 200-point inspection as promised, and instead, all they’re doing is resetting the check engine light. This is unacceptable! These people are [non-permissible content removed], and I strongly advise against buying from AutoNation Chevrolet Doral. DO NOT waste your time or money here!

    • To Beckett Adams and Barry Lewis, The poor customer service I previously mentioned has continued without improvement. It's become abundantly clear that the well-rehearsed lines about "caring for your customers" and "maintaining high standards" are just that—lines. Your actions, or lack thereof, speak much louder. You responded to my review by suggesting I contact the “General Manager,” yet failed to actually provide a name. Instead, you listed the main dealership number, which sends callers through multiple automated prompts before anyone can be reached. When I do finally speak to someone and ask for the General Manager, I’m told he’s either not available or too busy to take calls. I’ve left two messages for the General Manager and three for Avi, the service manager. As of now, not one person has had the professionalism or courtesy to return my call or provide an update. Sadly, this seems to be the standard practice at your dealership. Meanwhile, the vehicle I purchased for my son remains unreliable, and he’s now relying on Ubers to get to school and work. This situation is unacceptable, and your lack of accountability only reinforces how little regard you have for your customers. You’ve stated that you “wish to restore good faith in your dealership.” If that’s true, now would be the time to show it through action—not empty words. Otherwise, I’ll be pursuing legal action to hold you accountable for the negligence and inconvenience you’ve caused. —Pete Kane

  • Recall Service for 2024 Chevy Silverado

    I took my truck on a Saturday to Auto Nation in Doral for recall issues/service engine messages on a truck that is less than 1 year old. The quick diagnostic test was supposed to be performed on Monday and the service representative would reply thereafter. I didnt want to be a "Karen" but I use my truck for work, so I waited until Tuesday to get some information and I sent a text message/left a voicemail. On Wednesday and Thursday I sent additional messages and called several times and always got a voicemail. No one returned my call. Funny enough, I was only able to speak with a person when I pressed the button to "schedule NEW service" instead of "check on the status of your vehicle" (which would go straight to voicemail each time). The rep "escalated" the call to a manager, which also did not call be back. I finally received the call from the initial service rep saying the truck was ready for pickup and everything necessary had been done including the recall. Fast forward, my brand new truck still has the same error message "Service Driver Assist System" so I will have to go to a dealer yet again for service. Will be going to a different dealer.

    Terrible experience. They hang up on you when you ask to speak with a manager and tell you that you need to send your complaints/concerns/issues to the person that sold you the car. That doesn't make sense. The salesperson doesn't know anything. No one ever answers the phone and they treat their customers like garbage. They have me riding my car with an expired tag and they continue to give me the runaround on my previous tag they were supposed to transfer over a month ago.

  • Service center has terrible communication

    My vehicle had catastrophic oil leaks. After a day they gave me a quote and let me know the part needed was on back-order with no known estimate of when it would be available. I let them know I would be in the market for a new car and was in no hurry to complete the repair. It became a nine month ordeal. I expected a least some sort of communication from them. I got NOTHING. I actually had to visit the dealership once a month to check in because I would receive absolutely no updates. No responses to phone call messages left on the machines of the service advisor or manager. After about the 6 month mark I spoke to the manager (Sheldon) directly and he assured me he would personally handle the issue. He shook my hand and I left. One month later of no communication I come back and see him again. He tells me "I forgot, that's my bad." Completely unacceptable. More promises and more terrible follow up. On the next visit I finally asked them to find the part via different methods if necessary. The entire time they could have offered the option to source the part from a non-OEM source or a junkyard if need be. Instead they chose to let the car sit in the lot for 9 months where is suffered bumper damage, a missing visor and a spill of an unknown liquid in the back seat. Also they returned the car to me with the passenger fender liner missing. All things that they fixed for me for no cost but had absolutely no reason to happen in the first place. The service department never made an effort to apologize for the terrible service. They charge a premium price and to deliver a sub-part experience. For example, when I initially turned the vehicle in, I wanted the quote for the repairs but my service advisor was off for the weekend. I asked for quote and was told that only my specific advisor had access to that information. Instead of finding a solution, they told me I had to wait the weekend. So instead of making my car purchase at this dealership, I took my business elsewhere.

    Out of all my car buying experiences, this one not only met my needs and wants but exceeded them. My sales person Luis Guevara was able to answer all my questions, negotiate princing and was responsive/available. I commuted from Orlando to Miami and had to head back for a wedding. Luis and the financing manager made sure everything was ready for me to sign, the car was ready. Over all 5 stars. I would give 10 if I could. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

    I am so happy with my Jeep! I purchased it from AutoNation Doral, but I owe it to Estefania and Mandy who made it happen and brought the jeep down from Pines so I can see it. I am usually not a used car kind of gal, but the jeep was in mint condition and they made the process as smooth as possible.     Purchasing used car strictly online without seeing it in person with Doral AutoNation was easy; the internet sales team was professional, very quick to answer all questions/concerns & provide detailed videos with additional pictures of the vehicle on a lift in the shop. The dealership rating is based on the transportation of the SUV from south FL to north FL. The delivery service showed up 3 days after initial pickup & originally stating themselves for a next day delivery. The delivery it showed up a little after 9pm & had approximately 300-400 miles more on the SUV than the original sales invoice stated from the dealership. Unsure on where these additional miles came from & the time of night on an ‘As-Is’ car sale I cannot justify giving the dealership anything other than a good/fair rating.
