by edwinri on 05/21/2023i took my Explorer for a re-call , on the paper work state the inspection done. when a got home i read this paper , one was the battery check , the battery connection was complete cover with rust ( i have to clean them ) also the wiper… bottle water was almost empty. i was planning to trade in my Explorer for a 2023. but i will return back to Plantation Ford never a a issue with them.Hi, we regret your experience with us here, but are glad you brought this to our attention. Repair Service
by Mo2062002 on 05/05/2023My car has been serviced at Autonation Ford Margate, several times. Some of the same issues have been "repaired" there more than once. The problems still persist. A month ago my engine was replaced. They had the car for 3 weeks. I received… a text to pick my car up. I was thrilled to get my car back; however, the excitement was short lived. I made it exactly 1 mile away from the dealership before my car began to smoke and shut down. I called the service department and was advised by Jose that it was "probably just a sensor". Considering the car was smoking and almost shutting off, it made no sense. I took the car back to Autonation driving about 20 mph on a busy hwy. The car was serviced again that day. It took a few hours. The issue was a broken hose clamp. It supposedly popped off due to being an "old part" that was not observed or replaced when the engine was serviced. How could a potential problem with a old clamp go unnoticed before releasing the car back to me? I was told that "more than one" service advisor test drove the car before I picked it up. Mysteriously, the clamp just happened to pop after I drove the car 1 mile but when they drove it, it was "fine". Close to 7k later for the engine repair and the car is still not driving right. With the amount of money spent, clamps should be included as a precaution if they are "old". Why risk having an "old" clamp pop and inconveniece a customer further? I will NOT go to Autonation Ford again for any reason! I was promised a refund on my car rental expense for my inconvenience, in exchange for a 5 star rating for my service advisor. No survey received. I contacted the service manager via phone and email. No response. At this point, I won't lie on a survey for my refund. The overall quality of Ford went from "Ford Tough" to Ford trash! The mustang has been problematic from the day of purchase. I had the engine reset last year. The car used to jerk forward. I mentioned that issue a month ago while taking the car for the engine replacement. I was told by my service advisor that "mustangs tend to do that" and the newer ones jerk forward too. How, if the problem was "fixed"more than once? Either the 2018 mustang was a lemon from the time of purchase in 2018, or the mechanics there do not properly repair cars. I do not have any input on the car salesmen. I did not purchase my car there. A salesman offered to assist me if I ever decide to purchase a new mustang. I would not go there if there was a BOGO sale on cars. Not even sure I would ever purchase another Ford anyway.Hi, thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback. My personal review on the job done

Need answer.Thanks. Also,on my invoice I noticed that there were some work… to be performed that were DENIED. I did not denied any as NO ONE came to speak with me when I was in the waiting room. May you should changed your Denied to a Not Performed. Also I gave to Nathan Swain a print of an email you sent me which had coupons for service. Recent Purchase
by LukasB. on 04/22/2023I recently purchased a BMW 3 series here. The staff was very friendly and welcoming from the beginning. I originally came to see the vehicle but when I arrived it had been sent to the shop for a repair and I had to come back. Although… disappointed I spent time driving over there to not see the vehicle, I was glad to know they were taking care of any defects prior to my viewing. When I did see the vehicle it drove great and I was told it had new tires put on. There were a few paint scratches I was concerned about and the manager Matt, assured me he would get those touched up. The touch up however didn’t look that great after all, it seemed rushed and the paint didn’t blend in as well as I expected. Despite this I appreciated the attempt and took the car home. Unfortunately two days later the check coolant alert popped up. I was concerned this could indicate a worse issue than “they didn’t fill it up” since that would have been quite the oversight. I filled the coolant and made Oscar the sales guy aware of the issue. Then another oversight reveled itself. Water has gotten in the headlight fixture through a leak. Now one headlight is full of water and I’m concerned not only how it looks but potential electrical damage. Then two days later after I filled the coolant the check coolant light came back on, and sure enough it is low again. I managed to get in contact with Matt and have an appointment scheduled as he assured me they would take care of these issues, however it’s unfortunate my first week of driving this vehicle has been riddled with problems. Hopefully they fix the issues and I can drive this vehicle with peace of mind.Hi, we are deeply disappointed by your experience at AutoNation Ford Margate. The service advisor, Andrew Stewart, immediately came out to… help me, jump started my car, had me pull around, wrote up the service order and had a tech install the battery. All within 30 minutes! BEST SERVICE TEAM in the area!!!! A Bit Disappointed
by Sheila's Mom on 04/13/2023I received a letter in January describing the recall for my 2021 Bronco Sport. I called Autonation immediately and asked when I should bring in the vehicle. I was told that the parts would not be in for several months. I waited until… April 11 and called again. The associate advised that I would have to bring the car in for an inspection to ascertain what parts would be needed. So I drove to the dealership the next day of the appointment and was advised that the parts had to be ordered and that it would take another two to three months to receive the parts. Question #1 - Why was I getting the run-around? Question #2 - Why did I have to waste my gasoline driving there if no one was going to look at it. I am a little puzzled by this because I have been coming to Autonation Ford Margate since 2013 and always received red carpet treatment. Rear storage compartment behind 3rd row was full of broken replacement… parts for some other vehicle had to throw everything out.
