  • Great car buying experience!

    My wife and I shopped around to find our new 2018 Camry. One place tried to pressure us to "make a decision" before their close, another got frustrated when we asked questions about the differences between specific cars on the lot. Its been many, many years since we have bought a new vehicle. There's so many options to consider. Dan F was excellent from start to finish. He found several cars that were the color and price range we were looking for. He was very thorough in explaining the differences and during the test drive, ran us thru all the features in a gentle, entertaining and conversational manner. We asked for a break (and kindly got it) before we went into do the final negotiations. (Dan even dropped us off at a place down the street). Even though the dealership closed, Dan never rushed any of the final steps of going thru the final checklist before we drove our new Camry off the lot. We will definitely remember Dan and the great folks at Sunnyvale Toyota when we get our next car.

  • Will not go anywhere else

    TMy mother and now myself have been getting our cars serviced here and with maria helping us for over 15 years. My car is a 99 corolla with over 250,000 miles and it runs perfectly because i regularly maintain it and repair when and what needed. My mom currently drives a firt edition prius from my grandma and it also runs superbly; maria is always honest with us and always consults with us if anything was found wrong and weather it is an immediate repair required or not and the best option. She always has great customer service and no matter how busy she is, she treats every customer with the authenticity and intentionality of making us feel the utmost priority. She sacrifices some of her personal time and energy to fill us in throughout the process; we never take our cars anywhere else or trust another company with our vehicles. We are loyal toyota customers, and specifically we return every so often be ause of how comfortable and trusting we are with maria. The whole company i do have to say is great and everyone we have worked with generally has been great; however maria feels like an extended family.t

    My aunt was deciding between a Yaris and a Corolla. John Le provided great service as he patiently answered all our questions. He provided options that helped us maximized our savings. In the end we decided on the Corolla and my aunt couldn’t be happier. I highly recommend John Le and Toyota Sunnyvale.

    I was recently in the market for a new Camry and was lucky enough to have Dan Fuller from Toyota Sunnyvale helping me through the entire process. Unlike most other dealers I talked to, Dan was very open and honest with me about my options and didn't try to push me into any decisions. When he found out that they didn't have a Camry on site with the build that I was looking for, he went out of his way to track down exactly what I wanted from another dealership and had it quickly transported over that same day. He even took photos of my car as soon as it came in and emailed them over to me so I could take a look! And even better, he gave me an amazing price on the car, lower than all the quotes I received from other places. If you're thinking about buying a car but you're not sure who to talk to, I highly recommend contacting Toyota Sunnyvale and asking for Dan!

    Sunnyvale used toyota dealership The entire process of buying my daughter her 1st car was worst experience I ever had. My 1st question was very important before purchase n salesman didn't give me the correct answer till I discovered it after the purchase of car I needed to know if my kid can fiance it and I insured it. ..the process of buying car was happening prior to letting me test drive it. Than was told can't till next day after a tire was going to be replaced..I was not asked about warranty they automatically added on every warrant offered ...They never ask if we want it. Than I was being brushed off when I request to reduce the price of the car 3 times not ever answering me. Than the financing employee says he giving me warranty that cost 5000 .for 2000 so I said I won t ask for price reduce since they giving me 3000 off of warranty..I thought I got deal until the following evening the other employee said the warranty was worth 2000. That it was not 5000..so I never got any deals. ..no price reduction until the last person who help to finish our paperwork gave my daughter 200. Off of warranty ..the salesman was rushing around n not listening to me and my questions. He just wanted to make the sale. Warranty was added without offering it. We thought the payment was for the car. Until all the paperwork was complete. Than the fiance guy said my kid needs I nsurance in order to buy car. The 1st question I ask was about this and I was not told the correct answer about the subject cause I was going to be driving it until my kid got her liscence so now we need insurance that cost 260.00 and how much was a concern because I was quoted 55 just me. Thru my private company. Now we need special insurance. But sales man has no idea if we can afford 530.00 month on a car payment n Insurance...but they don't care. They just wanted the sale of car ..They said the car was mecanicaly checked. With in hour I suspected problems with car and someone checked n seems the transmission is bad. Its a 2015 ford focus. .they assured us car was checked ..so I got no price reduction. We all Most left with no gas. Nothing was offered that made the deal buying car here...Worst service. Lies. .salesman rushed everything. Didn't go over stuff on contract to explain things ..it was no customer service that made me a happy leaving. I went to work very stressed and upset with this whole process. Tomarrow we are returning the car cause it has bad transmission. 2 days and all the b's I encountered. I want my money and go elsewhere cause they didn't care to make these 2 customers happy. My daughter 1st car will be bought somewhere that will value our business and offer us deals n quality service and who let's me leave happy

    I just purchased a 2017 86 with the excellent help of Jessica in Direct Sales. I originally placed a quote request with Toyota.com and had several dealers contact me with the hard sell, only Jessica moved forward and actually gave me the quote I was requesting. Jessica was very patient but kept in touch as I gathered more information and finally came to the decision to move forward. Jessica kept me informed throughout the process and when a glitch was placed in my path by one of her co-workers, she went above and beyond to make the situation right. Thank you Jessica for doing the basics of your job even when all others failed at them as well as stepping up and going beyond when issues arose.

    Sunnyvale Toyota helped me finance a car. The process was so short. It only took them a couple hours. The person who helped was a man named Delon. He helped us get our new car fast. He was very nice and had a lot of patience.

    A few days ago I purchased a Mazda from this dealership's used car lot and am glad I chose to bring my business to this place. I'm definitely someone who's gonna be skeptical of any sort of salesman, right off the bat, but.. at this dealership I felt more at ease than any other I have been to so far. Socrates helped me get a great deal on my car and I never once felt that he was trying to play me. Everyone that I encountered here seemed like they genuinely just wanted to get people a deal they were happy with and to make sure that they were completely satisfied with their purchase. Already have told people about my great experience here and am looking forward to coming back for my maintenance, in the future.

    I was looking for a 2017 4Runner and visited Sunnyvale Toyota to do a test drive. Initiaaly I was idssappointed that I couldn't find a free sales person to even talk to. I was about to leave when I bumped into Steve F. From that point on, the buying experience was fantastic. No high pressure techniques, just a good exchange of information. I did the test drive, we discussed options and pricing and in the end, we came to a deal that was better than the other dealerships in the south bay area that that I had contacted. I'm now loving my new ride!

    Shawn helped me out and did an excellent job! I dropped my car off in the morning for 15,000 routine maintenance, he gave me a call to let me know a nail had been found in my tire and it would be able to be repaired instead of replaced, I just had to authorize it. My car was completed and ready for pick-up right after lunch! THANKS!

    Toyota of Sunnyvale sold me a 2017 Mirai on July 26, 2017. Jessica Wilson was honest, accessible, and up-front about everything important regarding this sale. The dealership did not engage in the usual running back and forth to invisible ‘supervisors’ or other tactics to wear down the buyer. Their price for my trade-in (a 2004 Prius) was quick and fair, based on KBB. Ms. Wilson has continued to be accessible since the sale. The evidence to date: this dealership cares about its customers, a rarity in this business.

    I have a 2014 Toyota 4-Runner with V6 engine. I live in Santa Clara but spend quite a bit of time in Riverside, CA. I have had the vehicle serviced at Toyota Sunnvale and Toyota Riverside. Both send e-mail with offers. My vehicle has 35,000 miles and I want to get the engine oil and filter changed and the tires rotated. Toyota Riverside will do this for $105 and provide a complimentary car wash. Toyota Sunnyvale charges $210!!! Further, calling the service number for Toyota Riverside get a human who provides the information with no questions asked. Calling the service number for Toyota Sunnyvale gets a machine and when you select service you get a person who does nothing but transfer the call which then rings and rings and rings and finally gets answered by a service representative. The service representative can't do anything without the VIN number which of course is outside in the car. He then wants a phone number if the vehicle was serviced there before. Now he wants the mileage and then says at 35,000 you don't need to change the oil. When I explain again that I want the oil changed and the tires rotated I get a belligerent response of $210. It is obvious that Toyota Sunnyvale is out to only make money and NOT to provide a quality customer experience. Toyota Sunnyvale does NOT listen to what the customer wants and provide a straight-forward answer for the cost of routine service. It seems Toyota Sunnyvale has arbitrary prices. I will take my vehicle elsewhere for simple services such as an oil change or tire rotation. AVOID Toyota Sunnyvale!!!

    I purchased my Toyota Highlander from this dealership and have been servicing it here since day one. I have always had excellent service from the team members at this location. Especially, Shawn. After I noticed a nail in my tire after I had already left, he helped me arrange for patching my tire the next morning and also helped me with my Toyota Autocare warranty package which replaced the tire for free! Thanks to folks like Shawn at this location who take the time to check in, follow up, and not just push us through a process. I will always recommend Toyota Sunnyvale to all my friends and family!

  • Don't buy extended warranty

    I purchased my car last year. I also bought the extended warranty from them. The finance guy (Son) told me that if I change my mind before 2 years, I will get full refund. That 's not the case when I canceled it. They tricked to buy it and very dishonest about the business. Be aware of this. You will get pro-rate from what you purchase. Every disappointed after I gave then an excellent review.
