by Pardieu on 05/26/2025On December 13, 2024, I brought my BMW into your service department because the “check engine” light was on. After waiting over 3 hours, I was handed an invoice that stated: “found faults for radiator blinds. programmed control units per… test plan after programming bottom radiator blind failed function test. if fault returns, replacement is needed at an estimate of $1500.” Net, I was charged $479.90 to be told that I may have a future problem. Recently (May 2025) I received a letter from BMW indicating that a lower active air flap assembly repair, replacement and/or a vehicle software update that optimizes the operation of the lower air flap may need to be performed. It’s obvious BMW has identified the lower active air flap assembly to be a problem with my make and model. My service representative told me they would not repair my air flap assembly because my front license plate was dented indicating driver fault. The license plate was in the same condition in December 2024 and no mention was made of air flap assembly damage. So after numerous hours waiting in your customer lounge and nearly $480 in charges, I have a faulty vehicle and a dealership unwilling to stand behind their product. I will be selecting a new auto make and model on my next purchase of a vehicle.Hello, thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback. by lynnal12 on 10/13/2024kudos to the team at carlsbad bmw. i originally booked a service appt at the beginning of the summer, and stated, among other things that i wanted to make sure the car was ready for a 1000 mile road trip. my service advisor (George/Jorje)… sat down and gave me a rundown on all the things that needed attention THEN he was kind enough to prioritize them in order of importance so that i could spread them out over a few months for convenience and planning. the gave me a new x3 as a loaner (i had been considering replacing my 2019 model) so that i could compare the old with the new. jorge texted me regularly with updates during the three days of servicing.Hello, our staff is dedicated to providing all our guests with outstanding customer service and quality work you can trust! Unethical Finance Department - BMW Carlbad
by jchp1981 on 09/14/2024Buyer Beware! They have a very untrusting and unethical finance department. Edith Loya will push multiple add-ons such as "service contracts" for $3500 claiming "you can't purchase one after financing" and "you can cancel the service… contract if you don't need it after financing" but that's a direct lie. You can buy one after somewhere else cheaper and they will ignore you when you want to cancel. I contact them to cancel the service contract the following day after seeing all the negative better business complaints against the "Easy Care" they push. I have been emailing them for over 60 day about the cancellation and I have been officially been ignored by multiple finance managers including Edith Loya which ignored me once I signed the check and Steven Marshalek which at minimum messaged me once as shared in the picture. But no one has replied back since. I am now currently still out $3500 and am loosing money by paying interest on that money that is owed to me. All they have to do is have some integrity, reply to my messages to arrange the refund and give me my money.Warning - Unethical Finance Department

by ctran619 on 08/21/2024BMW Carlsbad has the best Service Center with the nicest people! Jorge Perez took great care of us and our car, and we've seen him for a total of three times now. He and his team deliver exceptional service each time, and he always goes the… extra mile to show us that we can trust him with our car! The check engine light came on, and they were able to diagnose and repair it within a single morning while I waited in their comfortable lounge that offered complimentary latte and cappuccino. A week later, the check engine light came back on again for a different issue, and this time the diagnosis and repair had to take longer. But Jorge made the process so easy and free of stress, as he conveniently set me up with a loaner vehicle that I could keep for several days as he diligently submitted my repair claim to a third-party company to save me repair costs. That's what took a while, but once the approval came through, the repair was quick from there. Jorge kept me updated throughout the entire process via text messages.
