Crain is a customer friendly dealership. They made me feel valued and respected. They were great to work with and made sure I got the car with the features I desired. I received a fair trade in value. This was my second new purchase from Crain and I've been very pleased with my experience working with them. I highly recommend Crain Buick/GMC in Springdale.

  • Waiting time too long

    engine fault light came on. Called service dest, brought car in and waited for 3 hours. Found problem but didn't have part. Told to bring back in next day by 9;30. I CAME IN AT 9;10 and finally got car back around 3:00. Bill came to $1200.

    I have been going to Crain Buick and GMC of Springdale for six years and have never had a complaint. The employees are always polite and easygoing, scheduling is easy, and service is always prompt and priced at a good value.

    While the staff is friendly I honestly don’t know if they know how to service vehicles. I have brought my suv into them now 3 times for the same issue, paid them over $2,000 and it is still not fixed! Every time I’m told “this is it, we’ve got it figured out” and yet w/in a few days it’s obvious it hasn’t been fixed. Looking at having to take it back a fourth time but at this point not sure if I should because I don’t know if they know what they are doing. Do their technicians really know GM vehicles? I can’t figure out why a seemly simple fix can’t be taken care of the first time and why I’m having to continue to pay labor (they did discount labor a little on this last go around) when it’s on their end that they are not doing a through fix. Having to wait until Monday to call them yet again to say that it is still not fixed. Doesn’t seem like they guarantee their work, if so I shouldn’t have to keep paying labor (which often times is way more than the part) for them to fix something they should have done right the first if not the second time.

    Easy to work with. Had a part ordered and it was delivered and put on my Buick the next day.

    I have purchased two used cars with Steve Smith Country and they have done an excellent job! I would definitely recommend Bill Ledgerwood as a salesman. I have no plans to buy a car with any other dealership.

    I e-mailed Steve Smith Country requesting a quote on a 2010 Terrain, and listed the specific options I wanted. That was six days ago, and I have never gotten a quote.

    They put the wrong oil in my car and that is my fault that he was not able to read the oil change sticker that clearly states Mobil 1. I guess that's also what caused him to want to charge me two hours for labor when it was only 1.2 hrs at another dealer. Somehow Mr. service manager I do believe these were your errors and not mine. If you are looking for a dealer who is honest and detailed oriented. This is not the place. Customer service is lacking. I was the one who lost money because of their mistake. In my profession these errors could cost someone's life. U

    Three months. That was my time spent searching around for an Acadia that met my expectations. Steve P. was the gentleman who finally made it happen. He listened and informed me about what I was interested in and not what needed to be sold. It was pressure free and upfront from the beginning and I walked away feeling confident that in the future Steve Perkins will be who I purchase from. My entire experience at Steve Smith Country was pleasant and I absolutely love my new Acadia. Thank you Steve!
