Dealership will lie to you

I went to this dealership to look at a used car. I liked the car but we were not able to agree on a price. No issue here, as it is a part of the process. Between one to two weeks later i was contacted by the dealership regarding the car. We communicated via text. They told me i could purchase the car at the price that I was looking for. I made sure to ask if the price includes taxes and fees, and they confirmed the price. I went to the dealership to make the purchase that weekend, dealership was a hour drive one way. Upon arrival i was told that they made a mistake and that the price they told me did not include sales tax, and it would be approximately $600 more then what i was told. Not sure if it was miscommunication on their part, or them just lying to me to bring me in. I was extremely disappointed that i was lied to and had to make the trip out there. I have texts from them confirming what they told me. I did not make the purchase, and would not recommend the dealership.

Efficient. Exemplary. Energetic. Educated. I found a car online Friday, received a call from Mike Williams who gave me details about the vehicle and we scheduled an appointment for Monday. Arrived Monday, the car was pulled upfront for me to look at and take for a test drive. Not only was Mike professional but each staff member I came in contact with gave the same level of service. Robert Townes went over the car in depth with me with each of the features and was patient with me as learned how to use them. Zamir Safi took the time to explain the terms of my financing as well as making the transaction seamless, no fast-talking, no hard sell of things I didn't want/need. Overall I am beyond pleased with my buying experience at Passport Infiniti and my new to me QX60.

I thought it was a good experience, but 17 months later...

I leased a 2017 QX30 in May 2017, and I thought it was an amazing experience. Unfortunately, 17 months later I learned that my salesman was negligent and the General Manager is non responsive. In July 2018 my car was towed due to a 72 hour parking rule. Through this experience I further learned that my plates were removed from the car due to mismatch identification between the VIN and plates. The plates were still attached to the vechicle I traded in to get the new car. I was initially told that I was told by the salesman (who’s no longer employed) that there was some sought of problem with my plates. I’m not sure how they asked him since he isn’t employed there anymore. In any case what type of BEST PRACTICE is it to allow a customer to drive off the lot with plates that aren’t registered to the car. That should not have ever happened in any case. After, incurring additional registration fees and citations, I reached out to the dealership. I was advised to get new plates and bring in receipts for reimbursement. I also submitted receipts for the citations related to the non registration citations. It has been over 3 weeks and I am still waiting for a call back from the GM according to Neil. Customer service regarding this situation is horrible, and I caution anyone having to deal with this dealership.

Very helpful and friendly group

I called Passport last second and stopped in to test drive a used vehicle. The process was simple and smooth with Jayda and Siyad, both of who were very friendly, reasonable, and understanding. They were willing to work with me and patiently answer any question I had. I would recommend them when looking for a new or used vehicle.

Awesome Experience

I've been with the Infiniti family since 2010, but the experiences I had with leasing vehicles in 2016 and 2017 were the best. Both times I worked with Ms. Jayda Lin and I find her to be awesome. She is an asset to the dealership. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Please keep her!

Glenda Olmeda is a Great Sales Person

We went to Passport Infiniti of Alexandria in VA on December 31st 2016. Glenda was waiting for us to arrive at the dealership. From the time of arrival, she was so pleasant and helpful. She answered all of our questions and made the night so easy for us. Although our car was not ready that night, she made sure that we got the loaner car that we needed and she even put the license plate up on the loaner car by herself which amazed us:) We were told that our car was going to be ready on Monday, the 2nd of January. She called us when the car was ready and made sure to have everything ready to go for us so that we don't wait there for a long time. After the car was ready, she came out with us to the car and made sure that we know all the features of the car and answered all of our questions regarding anything we didn't know. Overall, this was the best experience we have ever had in buying a car. It was easy, pleasant ans VERY FAST:) We recommend her and that dealership:)

Great Sales/Leasing Consultant Mohamed Hussein

I have been going to Passport Infiniti of Alexandria for a number of years now and have had three cars serviced there; with only the last one purchased from this location. Generally, their customer service is great. Each time I have interacted with anyone in person or via phone, I have been treated with the greatest respect and with great concern for delivering the highest level of professional, yet appropriately personable, customer service. As to price, many can argue that dealerships in general charge a higher premium than other auto repair options, but I have no strong arguments one way or the other on this front. Thus far, my experiences have not caused me to have any significant concerns. And to the extent I have ever had any concerns about the price of a repair, they have exhibited a willingness to work with me to meet reasonable expectations. As to excelling in customer service, as mentioned -- my experience has been generally great with everyone. The service team has always done a great job and worked to make certain that I was satisfied. However, as to super star standout, I must mention sales/leasing professional, Mohamed Hussein. He exhibits a true commitment to delivering stellar customer service; in all regards. He assisted with my purchase and from the very first handshake a couple of years ago to seeing him again just yesterday 3/11/15), he continues to seize every opportunity to go above and beyond to earn his clients' trust and confidence that he values them and their business. I have frequently run into him, while at the dealership for routine service - and on each occasion, he takes the time to chat with me and make certain that everything is going well. Just yesterday I ran into him at the cashier's station (and by the way, Pamela the cashier is a real gem...she's great) and once again he was at the dealership on a day off; doing something to assist a customer; this time an internet customer from another state. I mentioned that someone had scuffed my bumper over the weekend. In typical Mohamed fashion, he sprung into action and volunteered to take a look at the damaged bumper. He quickly determined the paint color code and asked a colleague at the parts counter to pull a bottle of touch up paint for me to purchase. He requested my car key and asked me to meet him at the front side of the dealership, once I got the paint. By the time I met him at the front, he had relocated my vehicle and was in the process of cleaning the damaged area on the bumper. He then proceeded to carefully touch up the scuffed areas of the bumper and a few other nicks in the paint along the fender and front of the car; all while instructing me on his technique of how to properly apply the touch up paint later on. And it is worth restating; it was his day off! Great service is often hard to come by these days. Thus, it makes it even more amazing that someone on his day off comes to work to assist a potential internet customer and while there, takes the time to also offer such attentive service to another customer. This type of service really sets the bar high. It is this type of above and beyond effort that truly exceeds expectations and demonstrates Mohamed's genuine commitment to providing stellar service; even long after the sales transaction is completed. I highly recommend him to anyone considering a purchase at Passport Infiniti of Alexandria. He truly routinely earns this well-deserved recommendation. Thanks, Craig T.

Manager tried a sleazy trick! DON'T USE THIS DEALER!!

DO NOT USE THIS DEALERSHIP!! I just had the most ridiculous experience there! I went there because they had a used vehicle that I was looking for. I had done my research and had online printouts from comparables. Before I went there, I knew the vehicle was overpriced but I wanted to take a look. I took a test drive and my salesman Fred was okay. I made an offer based on comparables and the sales guy wouldn't ask the manager. No big deal. I showed the sales guy my comparables and he showed the manager. In the meantime, my boyfriend (who is a former car salesman) reasoned me into offering more. The sales guy returned and while we were discussing the comparables, the manager ran in and said "Are those the keys? I have someone who wants to see it." He snatched the keys from the sales guy and ran out. I thanked the sales guy for his time and started to leave. Of course, he stopped me and said I'll get the keys (you see where this is going right?). He got the keys and returned and I told him that I'm not stupid and that he and his manager can run their games on someone else because CLEARLY no one else was there to look at the car!! The sales guy tried to defend the manager and said it was the new car manager and he was not the person to make the decisions. He offered to have the used car manager come to talk to me. But by then I was thoroughly ticked off! He went to ask the used car manager to come in and when he came back I told him that I will not beg to give anyone my money and that I did not appreciate being played for stupid and he laughed and hung his head since he knew it was a low-bottom trick to try to play. I gave him a lower offer than what my boyfriend talked me into because it was the only way I would still consider doing business there. He took it to his "used car manager" (that I'm not sure existed) and came back and said no, but that the used car manager would be with us in a while. I left. They had wasted enough of my time and insulted me enough.

Three-Peat Customer for a Reason

Car buying is not easy because it is a big financial investment. I never want to walk out of a car dealership feeling like I just lost my shirt in a battle that I was not prepared for. Well if that is your car buying experience then come to Passport and experience why I am a three-peat customer. At Passport, all sales persons are courteous, they make you feel welcome, and Passport sold me the car at a price I was happy to pay. Never buyers remorse. In addition, I was pleased to purchase three great optional services that some other dealers don't offer. One was a tire warranty. A past experience was my second car. I bought a tire warranty and on the drive home from the dealership caught a nail in the tire. Boy was that dodging a disaster. I was able to take the car back and get a new tire no questions asked. These are experience that all car buyers need.

Very smooth and efficient

I needed a car really fast (to replace a total loss) so I researched the Infiinti G37 and negotiated the price via email. I got into the dealership relatively late in the evening (~7pm) and most of the forms were pre-filled and the car was waiting for me. I drove off in less than an hour and a half. The staff (Brittnee and Corey) were very helpful and courteous.

Very Sleazy dealership

I would turn around and find another dealership especially if you're looking to buy a used car. Trust me. you remember those used car dealers that use to shaft you in the 80's with broken promises and sleazy sales tactics? Yeah, you got it at this dealership. Even their Manager Teric K. is a broken promise guy that will keep squeezing you for $. Never take a verbal promise from these guys bc they will end up trying to take more $$ from you in every stage of the process. He first promised me my bumper on my old car on the trade in day....never happened. he then promised me that I can return the car I was interested in...ended up strong arming me to buy it. And when I bought it, he even tried increasing the interest rate by 1 percent!!! BEWARE of this dealership because they will try to take every penny once the deal is done. I even spoke to his manager Steven B. and he totally ignored me. There is no customer loyalty at this place, take your trade in elsewhere! I'm telling you.

Overcharged and Customer service

If you are in need for a vehicle, please take heed to this review. First, I am an out of state customer who serves in the Marines and has been trained in sales. BLUF: I was overcharged and can't get my refund back because the have a F on BBB report, the vehicle have miner issues but I might as well ask for a miracle if you think they care. I had to deal with sales person Sandra, I don't know how she is in the business of sales because she is worthless, you will be lowered in at first because you will think she cares but once you ink the sale good luck with getting any support. I would give her a D grade as a sales person. From their sales manager Ryan to finance manager Corey to the manager Robert, they don't care a dime about customer service. I have reached out to Robert and Corey about me being overcharged and should get my full refund and was told that I shouldn't of did business with them, now if I had known what I knew now, I wouldn't of drove 8 hours on a Sunday to be treated like door mat. They have a great deal of hidden fees, I paid almost $1200.00 in fees when I should of only paid $420.00 and I can't get the full difference back because Robert said its my fault for doing business with their dealership. I was low ball on my Trade in by Ryan, he said that the hood of my vehicle was repainted because the paint thickness was different from the fenders, for SA the hood is always painted different because of the engine heat. I was also force to give up my SSN by Ryan, I did not finance this vehicle, came in with pre-approved bank check. He said he had to check that I am not a terrorist, mind that I provided a copy of my military ID, driver license and a copy of my LES. Their finance manager was very rude and treated me with total disrespect and undermine my knowledge as if I was stupid. I highly recommend that you go elsewhere for a vehicle because this dealership will casue you more pain and hard ache than you need when purchasing a vehicle.

Best Experience Ever

This is way late, but I wanted to take the time to praise Passport Infiniti for their customer service and ease of buying experience. In August 2007 I purchased a '07 G35S from Passport, and this was long after the summer when I initially contacted Mr. Tim Ellis in June about a G35. Tim stayed in touch with me all summer (I was away for military training) and "saved" a car for me with the specs I was looking for in the color combination I wanted. After I sold my other car, Tim even picked me up from my house to go to the dealership to complete the sale. I got a great deal on the car, and all in all it was just a great experience - even though I was a young car buyer at age 22. I would absolutely buy my next car from them, and probably will if I'm still stationed in the area. Unfortunately Tim is no longer at Infiniti (I heard he was moved over to the Mini dealer up the road off of King Street near Landmark Mall) but I'm pretty certain that they've probably carried the same attention to detail and customer service along in the last few years. GREAT experience. Well worth the trip if you live further away in the area and are shopping for an Infiniti.

2008 Mazda CX-7 GT - Best Used Car Sales Experience Ever!

I purchased my 2008 Madza CX-7 Grand Touring from Passport Infiniti/Nissan of Alexandria and it was BY FAR the best Car Buying experiece I have ever had. I've brought Used Cars all my life and you always end up feeling 2nd Class or like you have g ottne ripped off...but this experiece was just as good as when I bought my only BRAND new car: a 2001 Dodge Stratus! My Salesman Byron Perry and the Finance Manager Donna were great and the Car was delivered as if it was brand new! I was allowed to test drive several vehicles at different times by myself and there was no rush or pressure to buy. I would recommend them to anyone looking for either a Used or New Vehicle.
