Great experience
by bbzhunny on 04/23/2025
My husband and I had been looking into getting a new car and decided to jump in and go ahead. When we came in Nick B. was friendly and personable. He took the time to figure out what we were looking for, even though I was pretty sure of… what I wanted. When we decided on the Atlas he took extra time to show us the features and how to access them after we went home. This was an awesome experience and I will be back.

Bad experience
by ww_fan on 05/16/2011updated 05/28/2025Manager were very angry when I told him I need one night to think about the price he offered to me. They do not allow you to spend time to think about the offered price and come back tomorrow. Very bad feeling and experience.New GTI
by alfabc on 02/20/2013updated 05/28/2025I needed a new car, as my previous car blew the motor the day before. Josh at Dick Hannah VW in Vancouver WA was my salesperson. I test drove the GTI and went home to think about it. The next day I visited a few more dealerships and drove a… few different brands of vehicles. I decided to go back to Dick Hannah VW and to talk with Josh again. I decided to purchase the GTI from Josh based on his easy going but confident and knowledgeable sales approach. Josh made it easy, and actually enjoyable, to purchase the car from him and his dealership. I truly appreciated his professionalism and sales approach.Excellent Experience!

by emerson4 on 01/30/2013updated 05/28/2025Cort B. was our sales guy and a great job he did. He has been there to help us any time we have called . If or when we get a new car he will be the person we will go back to.Genuine

by marko18 on 12/08/2012updated 05/28/2025Great buying experience. Internet price group was very competitive and easy to work with. They had the car I wanted and worked to find the best financing options. Start to finish, only 2 hours (including a test drive!). This is a personal… record as most dealers are not this efficient. Would highly recommend them.Great Service
by JennyRae3 on 12/05/2012updated 05/28/2025I had a great experience with Dick Hannah. They were able to help me get out of a car I didn't fit in and put me in an amazing Jetta that I love. My sales person Josh N. was great. He was fun to work with and made things easy. Thank you so… much! :)great experience buying my Jetta
by pamjm on 12/20/2012updated 05/28/2025When I bought my Jeeta through Greg at Dick Hannah, he really listened to what I wanted and found the car that had those requirements--very pleasant experience! I did not receive this preofessional and helpful service elsewhere.Dick Hanna VW service is completely incompetent.
by gobubba on 12/30/2012updated 05/28/2025Here are some of the highlight of my experiences at Dick Hanna service: They left our window down while the car was parked outside overnight, they were not going to tell us however I went there an witnessed it for my self early in the… morning before the opened. Had to fight with them to replace the water damaged interior panels. They left part of my fuel pump loose during a recall campaign service. As a result, I lost about 10 gallons of diesel fuel on the ground as I drove home. My vehicle almost caught fire and towed back to the dealership. Unfortunately all of that diesel fuel went straight to our communities drains and ditches. To add to the misery of my experience, the manager does not even return voicemail. Vancouver WA needs a different VW dealership, simple as that.Choosing Internet Sales
by HappyVWOwner on 12/03/2012updated 05/28/2025I asked for a quote on a Volkswagen Passat over the internet. I received a response from Greg F. at Dick Hannah Volkswagon in under 30 minutes. Greg was direct, helpful, and wonderful to deal with; I would recommend internet sales through… Dick Hannah to anyone interested in buying a new VolkswagonReview
by bgreer2 on 12/05/2012updated 05/28/2025Josh was very helpful and patient with me from the start. I would recommend him and this dealership to anyone.Great Place to buy a Volkswagen
by madrigda08 on 12/09/2012updated 05/28/2025I had a great experience at Dick Hannah. Greg took care of me and I really like him. He was very down to earth and worked hard to get me the best deal possible without any pressure. The finance guy Jake got on my nerves a bit, but I… understand they have to make money and "wheel and deal" overall I had a great experience and will buy another Volkswagen from Greg in the future.Great Experience--purchased 2013 Volkswagen Passat 12/12 from Steve Elliott
by Steve_T1 on 01/13/2013updated 05/28/2025We had a nice experience with Steve (Elliott) at the Van Mall Drive Dick Hannah (Volkswagen) dealership (Vancouver, WA). We purchased a 2013 VW Passat around 12/22/12. Steve made the test-drive experience fun and seemed genuinely happy for… us when our purchase was successful and completed. Steve was thorough in explaining the features in our new VW Passat (which we love!) and he answered every question we asked, before AND after our deal was done. We appreciated that very much because the VW product is new to us, but we are VERY pleased and happy with this car (we are first time VW owners, but this was our 3rd Dick Hannah deal). We would buy from Dick Hannah/Steve again and will certainly refer our friends to this dealership (and to Steve). It was really a great experience all the way around. Steve & Julie Trad5 STARS for being Dishonest, Untrustworthy, and Shady!!!!
by zhenwu on 04/19/2012updated 05/28/2025I received quotes online from 3 dealers. My brother inlaw recommended his childhood friend (Josh) from the dealership. Josh agreed over the phone that they would honor the price. Went in to the dealership at 2pm and the negotiation began… again. First they wanted to add an extended warranty or I couldn't buyt the car. Then they had to check on the vehicle availability even though he told me that he brought this vehicle in just for me. When I told him that I am tired of the game then they decided the vehicle is available to sell to me. Then they played the financing deal trying to manipulate the payments and interest rate. Then added $200 for "etching fee" but Josh assured us it was already included in the price. Went F&I to sign and suddenly the "etching fee" was an extra. After some more negotiation, they offered a $100 reduction. We felt so dirty with all the tricks played and had no trust and confidence in the manager, the sales person (supposed to be a family friend to watch out for us). WE couldn't trust the service department for telling us the truth after we buy the car. We walked out not buying the car. Good thing, I found an exeact used 2010 model with 18k mile 3 days later from a private party and paid over $7000 less. So, thanks for your dishonesty, Untrustworthiness and Shadyness. You helped me save money! Be very careful dealing with them!!!!Jetta TDI SportsWagon

by vdubluv3 on 10/31/2011updated 05/28/2025Coming into Dick Hannah I was purchasing my VERY FIRST new car. Unfortunately I wasn't sure what I wanted. My sales consultant Samantha was very polite helping me figure out just which car to buy. I would recommend her to friends and… family for a good buying experience. Thank you once again.Awesome car buying experience
by jessicaj5 on 12/12/2012updated 05/28/2025My car was totaled in an accident this summer and I needed a new one immediately - one that would be safe enough for my daughter to ride in and fun enough for me to drive. I was nervous about buying a car because I have some credit… issues. Greg was awesome - he didn't make me feel bad about my financial situation and he didn't act like a stereotypical used car salesman. He talked to me like a real person and even joked with me on my own level (which can be less than appropriate at times). He was great at reading me - what I needed in a car and how I needed to be dealt with as a person. I would totally buy from Greg again. The experience was very pleasant and even somewhat enjoyable!Great Sales Service and Price
by CPOVWPassat on 04/12/2013updated 05/28/2025My wife and I had spent over a month looking at various dealerships for a certified pre-owned VW Jetta or Passat. We settled on a 2013 CPO Passat SE with sunroof from Dick Hannah Vancouver, because they had a great car at a great price.… Greg F. was our salesperson. He was knowledgeable about his VWs because that's what he owns. Greg was also diligent, friendly, and helpful which, when combined with his willingness to work with us, at the end of the day got us the car we wanted.Disgustingly dishonest
by bmag360 on 10/11/2011updated 05/28/2025After buying about 12 different cars from dealerships, I can say without any hesitation this was by far the worst dealership experience I have EVER had in my life. I can't emphasize enough how shady their business practices are, but I will… try to explain here what my wife and I experiences. Everything went fairly okay, and as expected for a dealership, until negotiations started. They did the normal leave you for 20 minutes "while I talk to my manager" stuff over and over, but that's to be expected from most dealerships. We finally came to an agreement on a lease with VW of America on a new Passat that although was expensive, our situation warranted it to a degree. Here's where it got just flagrantly bad. First, during final paperwork it was made very clear, no, CRYSTAL clear, that we could ONLY make the purchase if we bought an extended warranty from their company. Now make no mistake, it is NEVER required by a lender, especially VW of America, that you have to buy the warranty to make the deal. Second, the dealership flat out LIED when they told my wife and I that VW of America does NOT sell extended warranties for their new vehicles. This sounded fishy, but considering they told me I had to buy their extended warranty from the company that they use. I contacted VW of America the next day and verified that VW does in fact sell extended warranties, you just have to go to a different dealership because Dick Hannah VW is not authorized to sell them. Third, after have the car for two days, they contacted us back and said unless we came up with another $4800 (yes, four thousand eight-hundred) then we could not keep the car. This was on a lease mind you. We told them we would not give them any more money from what we already gave them so they demanded the car back. My wife asked them if they could sell us something else, even a used car, and they said no. Fourth, we brought the car back, signed paperwork saying it was returned and left. No exaggeration, they treated my wife like absolute garbage. They ignored her and acted like she was tainted by some disease or something. We ended up going straight to Dick Hannah Kia to see if someone there would work with us since I assumed that another Hannah dealership could work with us since they have such a large inventory and wouldn't need to pull all of our paperwork again and we really wanted a newer vehicle. By the way, please see my Dick Hannah Kia review as they were absolutely INCREDIBLE in work with us right away with complete professionalism and genuine kindness. Fifth, when we went to Dick Hannah Kia, and I am not joking, VW tried for several days to completely refuse to turn our down payment over to Kia even though it's owned by the same company! Not joking, they REFUSED to turn our down payment over to Kia. Sixth, two days after we returned the Passat, Alex from VW called and said we damaged the car and needed to pay to repair it. Guess how much the repair was? Remember the down payment they refused to turn over to Kia? That's right, they wanted EXACTLY the same amount of money to repair the so-called damage from the Passat we turned in! We told them we'd be there right away to inspect. Upon arrival, Alex showed us the car and there was some obvious damage to the front of the car, but the funny part is when I looked at the odometer there was 12 miles added to the car since we turned it in. We asked them where they drove the car and Alex had the gall to say it was "only" driven to be detailed which is literally about 300 yards away. Of course, the paperwork that we signed when returning the vehicle showed no such damage to the car. More on that in a moment. Seventh, Kia needed some release paperwork from VW (both owned by Dick Hannah) but VW told Kia they couldn't have the paperwork. So my wife went back to VW and demanded the papers, of course VW tried saying it would take two days for it, but she didn't give up. They then started playing silly games with her, like telling her to go to the finance office to get the papers where the lights conveniently turned off on her way there (only one door to the room) and my wife refused to leave until miraculously the lights turned back on and someone was in there... When they have my wife the release papers, no joking, someone had tried crossing out dates and other important information to alter the paperwork. This dealership is SOOOOO unbelievably dishonest and shady. Stay away at all costs. Oddly enough, I've always had good experiences with Dick Hannah Honda and Dick Hannah Kia, and upon going to Dick Hannah Kia they were shocked by our treatment and treated us like the most values customers that ever walked through their doors. I also found out that any salesperson from any Dick Hannah lot can sell you a car, used or new, from another lot. Therefore, if you want a REALLY good sales experience, skip VW and just go down to Dick Hannah Kia and they will be happy to help you at any lot.Run FAR away from Dick Hannah
by jahon on 03/25/2012updated 05/28/2025What a joke. They have HORRIBLE service and RUDE sales staff. They damaged my car installing the clear cover protector-which they improperly installed THREE times-and never offered to compensate or fix the damages. Also, when I was in the… process of purchasing this vehicle, the sales manager talked down to me, yelled at me, and was more than just rude. I wish I would have walked out the door. NEVER BUY A CAR OR SERVICE IT WITH DICK HANNAH. [non-permissible content removed].good work
by david270 on 10/08/2011updated 05/28/2025Got two keys though the car only had one at the time of purchase. Salesperson, Samantha, worked to make that happen. Thanks.
