Dealership Sales Review
I received quotes online from 3 dealers. My brother inlaw recommended his childhood friend (Josh) from the dealership. Josh agreed over the phone that they would honor the price. Went in to the dealership at 2pm and the negotiation began again. First they wanted to add an extended warranty or I couldn't buyt the car. Then they had to check on the vehicle availability even though he told me that he brought this vehicle in just for me. When I told him that I am tired of the game then they decided the vehicle is available to sell to me. Then they played the financing deal trying to manipulate the payments and interest rate. Then added $200 for "etching fee" but Josh assured us it was already included in the price. Went F&I to sign and suddenly the "etching fee" was an extra. After some more negotiation, they offered a $100 reduction. We felt so dirty with all the tricks played and had no trust and confidence in the manager, the sales person (supposed to be a family friend to watch out for us). WE couldn't trust the service department for telling us the truth after we buy the car. We walked out not buying the car. Good thing, I found an exeact used 2010 model with 18k mile 3 days later from a private party and paid over $7000 less. So, thanks for your dishonesty, Untrustworthiness and Shadyness. You helped me save money! Be very careful dealing with them!!!!
