Not the best experience
by NewtoPNW on 03/20/2025updated 03/27/2025The service agent seemed like he didn’t want to be bothered, he said an all point inspection would take 4 hours but was only there an hour for a recall and inspection. This was my first time at the dealership and it was not a welcoming or… pleasant experience. I was having my vehicle inspection done so I can bring it back for service and build my service since recently moving here but I will find another dealership. Customer service goes a long way and this just lacked.Typical car dealership games
by Old geezer on 10/16/2024Got me in the door with a great lot salesperson, but once I sat in a chair and started filling out paperwork, they had their hooks in me. **Their trade offer for my car was lower than my Edmunds value **They would not budget on the price,… even though it was reduced $750 less than 2 weeks earlier **I told them my absolute maximum i could pay (my mistake), and ended up paying $100 more per month **I was nearly out of time and got up to leave when they said "let's try one more angle to get your payments down" - - another 15 minute delay **They finally wore me down and I signed because I second-guessed my own decisions and fell for this trick. **They accidentally kept the $299 anti-theft feature even though they said they would remove it (it was removed on my followup visit) **I had to come back the following week because their "calculations were off" on my lease, and the finance guy remorsefuly warned me that my payment was $30 higher, even after removing anti-theft (another 15 minute delay) **finally got the payment back to the original amount for the first 14 months, then higher after that. I'm afraid to see what they do to me kn my first complimentary service visitThank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. No need for me to reach out to further discuss. Your team did everything by the book, including giving me the option - multiple times - to back out and continue another day. Very low pressure from your side, I blame myself for not walking away when given the chance. For what it's worth, the car is decent and a good purchase for someone in the right position to do so.

by Winemaker on 06/15/2022I don't have much good to say about the engineering in my 2011 SIlverado 35000 (the transmission controller ($1,200 2021) and now the DefBlue ($1,100)) systems failed at 60,000 miles, and conveniently for GM after their warrantees timed… out. Makes me want to return to foreign cars which I had vowed never do again. However, Carr's service department is really good on diagnosis, getting on with it, and returning the car ASAP. They are also good listeners because they gave me a10% overall discount on the BlueDef. Plus they are understanding and knowledgeable people.What A joke
by Brian Davis on 01/15/2020I had inquired online about a used 2016 GMC Sierra that I already have approved financing for and due to my work schedule being 7 days a week I made sure to let them know I would be coming the next day to look at it. I showed up today and… the vehicle was not available so I wasted my time with the drive. I will not purchase from CARR since the transaction started off poorly I cannot imagine how the rest of the transaction would of played outHello Brian, We are very sad to see that you thought we deserved such a low rating. I didn't have any credit history so knew it was going to be a challenge. Cody assured… me he would do what he could to make things happen and get me into a vehicle I could count on. Well he made it happen and I drove off the lot in a 2014 GMC Terrain. I appreciate him more than he could ever know for taking the stress of not having a reliable car away! My new car is so comfortable and I am really enjoying it. I would recommend going to see Cody if you are ever looking for a car! Matt ensured that we were kept updated through the entire process, while letting us sit in the more… comfortable waiting area. We only negotiated our bottom line once and Matt ensured he came back with the absolute best options available, no back and forth. He was so personable and nothing like your typical "salesman". by Dennis on 10/25/2018I bought my NEW 2018 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT about three weeks ago from Carr GMC. I dealt mainly with one of the managers, Travis, and Ilya one of the salespeople. Working with these two gentlemen was a pleasure. I was not the easiest person to… please because I wanted a certain exterior color and a certain interior color and the combination was not easy to find, plus I wanted the SLT with the Premium Plus Package. However, we did find the vehicle I wanted at another dealership, at least 2 hours away, and Travis worked hard and worked his magic to obtain the vehicle from the other dealership. It took Travis a couple of days to get it done but get it done he did. Ilya handled informing me of all of the bells and whistles and showed me the in's and out's of the truck. There was so much to learn about the truck that much went in one ear and out the other. The truck is loaded with so many techno features that much of it is a learn as you go situation, at least for me, because I'm more of a hands on learner. Travis and Ilya made the entire experience nice and easy, after getting through the negotiations on price, which wasn't painful at all since I had done my homework and new what my trade-in was worth. The negotiations were quick and easy and we had a deal hashed out in no time. I am very happy with the deal I made and I would not hesitate to recommend CARR GMC to anyone wanting to by a new vehicle. DennisFIVE STAR service from beginning to end

Tom Johnson was my salesman and he was fantastic. I also dealt with Steve, Justin and James.. everyone… was great. The whole family, including my 2 year old son was very comfortable. Employees were arrogant. I purchased a new vehicle from a different GMC store… that was over 20 miles further away rather than putting up with the attitude.CARR GMC-A GREAT DEALERSHIP TO CHECK OUT
by goodshopper on 09/26/2010Our experience at CARR GMC went very well. They have a professional staff and they are comfortable to work with. We were treated with respect through out the entire purchase process. We even found lots of things to laugh at together.… Of course they would like to have gotten top $$ (MSRP), what dealership wouldn't . They have their bills to pay... But we got a great price on our Terrain. Everyone was happy. I had been looking at the Terrains since Nov. 09 and had checking off and on with many dealerships in the Portland/Vancouver area as well as our local dealership. Terrains are a bit hard to get sometimes. At the time of our purchase they had some Terrains and a few in transit. Maybe that is a good thing that GMC has not flooded the market for those of us that own one for resale value. We will be back to check out some trucks in the future for my husband.
