    Came to have the rear license bolt remove so that the new plate could be attached. The previous plate had been removed, apparently its head of the bold broke off so new plate could not be attached. Came to the Service Department where they were able to remove the bolt so the new plate could be attached. The Service personnel were very friendly and kind.

    I received a letter about the infosystem in my 2020 outback. They seem to be having some issue on certain models and years. Mine was having some issues so I called to set an appointment and they got me in the next week. The staff was very informative and kept me in the loop throughout the whole process. They updated the software and it seems to have done the trick. I will definitely go back.

    I was extremely pleased with my experience at AutoNation on Friday, December 23rd. Everyone was so friendly. The communication was excellent, nothing was done without prior consent. I will only take my Subaru to this location in the future.

    I clipped a coupon for a synthetic oil change at AutoNation. This saved me about $20 on my service. They met me at the door and took my information. I was taken to the waiting room where I was given coffee and a donut. They were done with my vehicle in no time. Very friendly and satisfying visit.

  • Wrong oil filter oil all over engine

    I took my car in for a routine oil change, waited three hours during a work day, and received it back leaking oil all over the engine, leaking from the wrong oil filter. Oil burned on the engine and put smoke into the car. I was told that it would be detailed but it wasn’t. The only good part of the whole experience was kindness and service offered by Kylie and Jeremy.

  • Installed alternator belt inside out

    Went in mid-December for an oil change/multi-point inspection. They said my Alternator and A/C belts needed replacing. Two days later my car is squealing. Brought it in the next week, they make a small adjustment and send me on my way. Didn't fix the issue. Finally got an appointment (which I had to drive to the shop to make because no one would answer the phone) for them to figure out they installed the alternator belt inside out. Took 3 trips back to the shop for them to look at it close enough to figure that out. No apology or refund given.

    The truth to be told, most of the services they say they do is either not entirely done, or checked off done but wasn’t. I will never go back unless necessary.

    Last week I took my Outback in to try to find why my car battery constantly dies. This has happened at least 50 times since I bought it almost 4 years ago. I have asked them to fix the problem ever since the first 6,000 mile check up and each of the five thereafter. They appear to never go beyond charging and checking the drain on on the battery even though I tell them there is something mechanical or electrical causing the problem. I have replaced the battery 2 times and even bought a spare battery to jumpstart the car when the battery is dead again. They didn’t follow my request again and blamed my problem on not driving enough (less than 2,000 miles in the year of COVID-19). However, I drove a total of 35,000 miles in the previous years. They did not check anything beyond the battery according to the bill. They seem like very pleasant folks at checkin but I question the thoroughness of the mechanics. I loved my Subaru but in frustration traded it on a 2018 Honda on Thursday. Enough said.

    34 minutes on the phone waisted setting up my appointment. Show up at appointment date and time and not scheduled! An hour of my time waisted setting up my appointment again! Tried to sell me parts not needed & charge over $800! Didn’t check tire pressure or sensor after telling me they did 3 times! Took car to another shop that day and they took care of me for free & advised me AutoNation was wrong & tried to overcharge me! This happens each time I bring my car here & this was the last time! Never bringing my car here again! Get a second opinion unless you want to pay for what you don’t need, be overcharged or get the run around!

  • Never another Subaru

    I took my 2013 Outback into the dealer for starter problems. We bought this car new because Subaru is suppose to be one of the best lasting cars out there. Of course we didn't buy an extended warranty because you shouldn't need it, and shouldn't Subaru offer a decent warranty to begin with. I drive all highway miles, and don't have a heavy keychain so there is no reason a starter should need to be replaced, it makes me wonder now what other part will wear out that shouldn't, I use to feel safe knowing my car would get me there, but not so much now. I missed a family even on the west side of the state because of this car. Not only is my starter not covered they want $700 to put in a new one. I will never buy from Autonation, nor another Subaru. I have recommended both over the years which is why also my parent's bought one. Never again.

  • free tire change issues

    I have been bringing my Subaru to this dealership since 2003 and have generally been satisfied. I was very fond of John the previous manager, but unfortunately he left and relocated to another city. I always avoided Scott when he was still service adviser, which was pretty easy, but was really dismayed when I heard he replaced John as manager. My issue with him took place in Nov.2014. I was not able to get an appointment for a winter tire change at my usual tire store and came to Auto Nation for a free tire change. I was told the summer tires would be placed in a bag and the center caps be put on my winter tires if that is what I wanted. The tires were not in a bag and the center caps were left on the summer tires. I asked for the "kid' to finish the job correctly and he proceeded to do that in the parking lot. While he was working I asked him if he had marked the tires and he said no, we don't do that here. I asked for Scott, who said tire marking was not necessary, because the rear tires of my Forester get criss crossed to the front and ultimately all tires would come around.I told him not so, tires on my car get moved from front to back, and back to front. He started a silly argument that I was wrong. I asked him to show me in writing to prove his point. He went to his office and printed a paper that clearly stated I was correct. Instead of apologizing he became loud, rude and argumentative. I decided never to come back. I was gone for the month of December and didn't have opportunity to complain.I stopped by last week to asked for the general managers e-mail and the lady at the info desk told me that Scott Randall was gone. Needless to say, that made my day. In the meantime I have been back for service and was satisfied. They are getting a new service manager and hopefully a more professional one. Also there are to many service adviser changes lately which is not very confidence inspiring. They don't seem to hold on to the good ones.

    The service worker was beyond rude, even yelled at me. I expressed a problem and he had an attitude of can't do anything...not even willing to ask or check on the matter. Worst service experience I've ever had. Even giving one star is too much.
