  • Wrong oil filter oil all over engine

    I took my car in for a routine oil change, waited three hours during a work day, and received it back leaking oil all over the engine, leaking from the wrong oil filter. Oil burned on the engine and put smoke into the car. I was told that it would be detailed but it wasn’t. The only good part of the whole experience was kindness and service offered by Kylie and Jeremy.

    I/we have owned a total of 9 Subarus starting with my 1979 Subaru Brat . . . fun car & I wish I still had it! We've purchased the last 3 from AutoNation Subaru, Spokane Valley and have been very HAPPY with each experience. Frankly the best of ALL! Josh, our salesman, was knowledgeable, professional & very friendly. Pretty much at the last minute we were having trouble deciding on which model we wanted. Crosstrek vs. Forester . . . still LUV both but could only buy one! (haha) Anyway, Josh was so patient and helpful by looking up different models, features, availability, etc. Our new purchase, '22 Forester Limited is perfect! From beginning to end, the folks at this dealership are really GREAT and I can't say enough about them or Subaru . . . Absolutely LUV Subaru!!!

    Bought a 22 Outback from these folks. Order process was great (since none on the lot), easy to purchase with Julianna, Sales manager Gail was very nice, and accommodating, and works to delight the customer. Delivered by Sam and Colin. Great car, great dealership, NO ADM or other crap fees. A "start of a beautiful relationship".

  • Difficult Purchase Process

    Not sure why a dealer would make it so difficult to buy a car. The staff was nice and the car seems fine but the process to purchase was brutal. Now way it should take over 4 hours when there is no price negotiation and no financing.

    Noah Orosco is the reason we made our purchase. Live out of state and found the truck online. Noah was extremely attentive to getting us the info we asked for. Sent extra pictures and even a couple videos. Definitely recommend this dealership and especially Noah.

    Tyler was fantastic to work with. Very low pressure, highly informed salesman. The whole staff laughed and joked and visited with us during the car buying process, and we felt very respected and valued. My new 2022 Crosstrek is perfect, and was sold at the perfect price point, which was less than all the other subaru dealerships nearby. Will not go anywhere else in the future.

  • Installed alternator belt inside out

    Went in mid-December for an oil change/multi-point inspection. They said my Alternator and A/C belts needed replacing. Two days later my car is squealing. Brought it in the next week, they make a small adjustment and send me on my way. Didn't fix the issue. Finally got an appointment (which I had to drive to the shop to make because no one would answer the phone) for them to figure out they installed the alternator belt inside out. Took 3 trips back to the shop for them to look at it close enough to figure that out. No apology or refund given.

    Looking for a pulling solution for a 5th wheel. Found a good candidate online. Responses were prompt and cordial which led to an "in person" viewing. 88 mi. one way so not an inconsequential action. Trade-in offer was reasonable. Sales crew was focused and intent but held shy of being pushy. All-round we solved our problem with minimum fuss.

    Our experience was very positive. We drove 200 miles to buy an Outback and our salesperson, Austin, made the entire thing very easy and seamless. We got exactly what we wanted and for a great price. We were able to do a lot of the paperwork in advance and were in and out of the dealership in about an hour. Austin communicated with us through the whole process and made sure we were well taken care of.

    Last week I took my Outback in to try to find why my car battery constantly dies. This has happened at least 50 times since I bought it almost 4 years ago. I have asked them to fix the problem ever since the first 6,000 mile check up and each of the five thereafter. They appear to never go beyond charging and checking the drain on on the battery even though I tell them there is something mechanical or electrical causing the problem. I have replaced the battery 2 times and even bought a spare battery to jumpstart the car when the battery is dead again. They didn’t follow my request again and blamed my problem on not driving enough (less than 2,000 miles in the year of COVID-19). However, I drove a total of 35,000 miles in the previous years. They did not check anything beyond the battery according to the bill. They seem like very pleasant folks at checkin but I question the thoroughness of the mechanics. I loved my Subaru but in frustration traded it on a 2018 Honda on Thursday. Enough said.
