by Kristen on 10/19/2020We found the listing online for a used 2018 Honda CR-V on the AutoNation lot in Spokane Valley. After speaking to the online sales manager, Mike, who took the time to thoroughly look over the vehicle for us and communicate any… imperfections, we drove 4 hours from Montana to test drive the vehicle. This was by far the absolute cleanest unit that we were in while shopping around. The auto detailing shop was spot on! There wasn’t a speck inside or out, it was beautiful. The sales staff was friendly and attentive. The one thing that didn’t go quite as smoothly as we had hoped was that we had to wait an hour and a half to check out with the financing department even though we were paying cash. But once we got into financing, Brian did a great job! Again, friendly and efficient. AutoNation was true to their word giving me the exact price for my trade-in & new vehicle. Brandon(salesman)… was wonderful as we went over my checklist, their 125+ point inspection, & test drive. by Disappointed on 07/17/201834 minutes on the phone waisted setting up my appointment. Show up at appointment date and time and not scheduled! An hour of my time waisted setting up my appointment again! Tried to sell me parts not needed & charge over $800! Didn’t… check tire pressure or sensor after telling me they did 3 times! Took car to another shop that day and they took care of me for free & advised me AutoNation was wrong & tried to overcharge me! This happens each time I bring my car here & this was the last time! Never bringing my car here again! Get a second opinion unless you want to pay for what you don’t need, be overcharged or get the run around!Thank you, for reaching out to us. by LeahOut on 09/21/2017I took my 2013 Outback into the dealer for starter problems. We bought this car new because Subaru is suppose to be one of the best lasting cars out there. Of course we didn't buy an extended warranty because you shouldn't need it, and… shouldn't Subaru offer a decent warranty to begin with. I drive all highway miles, and don't have a heavy keychain so there is no reason a starter should need to be replaced, it makes me wonder now what other part will wear out that shouldn't, I use to feel safe knowing my car would get me there, but not so much now. I missed a family even on the west side of the state because of this car. Not only is my starter not covered they want $700 to put in a new one. I will never buy from Autonation, nor another Subaru. I have recommended both over the years which is why also my parent's bought one. Never again.Hi Leah, thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. They turned a really unfortunate day for me into a day I will remember as one of the better stories in my life. Patricia Hawley was really great to work with - giving me patient and personal consideration to the details I wanted in my Subaru, staying late past closing to accommodate my purchase, patiently trained me in the new technology of the Touring model, and has followed up to see how we are doing as a new team of car and driver.
