Have used a neighboring dealership and frequently had to have their work redone which is a real pita since I live in the sticks an hour’s drive away. Energize!
by DJ on 09/27/2023Replaced 4 year old Honda car battery with new at dealership. Guess how much it cost…… $438! Very proud of this product. Maybe I am that out of touch with current pricing, but this seems like a huge markup. Was given no options or… choices of batteries at e dealership. When asked why so much, the attendant could not explain why the battery alone was $335 while other sales outlets you can get a top of the line battery for $200 or so. I want to have Honda do all the servicing on my vehicle, but this was quite an eye opener. I am still in disbelief of the cost. I have replaced numerous batteries over the years in other vehicles and may have to start again if the occasion assisted again.We're sorry to read about your recent experience with the battery replacement. We understand that pricing can be a sensitive issue and we strive for transparency in all our services. It's concerning to know you felt there was a lack of options or explanation provided, as this is not how we aim to operate.
