Were it not for him we would probably have our work done elsewhere. the only issue I have in this case is why we… would have an ac compressor fail at 71K miles in the first place?Good Service

Only negative would be that I dropped my car off at 7:30 in the morning and heard nothing until I contacted the service rep at 2:30 p.m. and at that time was told my inspection had failed and I would need $3300… in repairs. I feel like to should have be notified earlier in the day. No big deal but needed to contact my insurance company to start a claim for a new windshield.The Best of the Best

by JLB5804 on 11/14/2017I set an appointment (3 days prior) to get an oil change. Also needed my fluids checked and topped up. My appointment was at 8:00am (I was told the 1st apt of the day). I arrived at 7:50am. By 8:00am I was checked in. I waited about 2… hours before I went to ask what time my car was expected to be done. I figured an oil change would take less than an hour. I was told "looks like they're done, just getting it washed now". At 11:00, an hour later, I walked back down and inquired about my car. I was told, "just getting it detailed now, it's all done though". So, I waited again. I went and paid. ($122.00 for an oil change ONLY seemed high, but...I paid it). Finally, I got my car back at 11:30am. I was still dripping from the carwash. Actually, had some soap residue in the little cracks and crevices. I am not complaining about the wash job, because I rarely wash my car anyway. It was just odd that it was still dripping and had soap on/in it when it had been "washed" an hour and a half ago. All in all, good service. Time was a little unreasonable, and price was a bit high for a car that has almost 200k miles.Very Satisfied

by LouAnnL on 08/23/2017While I was in Richmond visiting my daughter my Mercedes starting making a strange noise. It grew louder so I went to the closest Mercedes dealer on Broad street Mercedes Benz of Richmond for emergency help. I was turned away and told they… could not even take a look or even listen to give me advice on the car being safe to drive for 5 days. They were too busy to offer any kind of assistance: I was stuck and had no choice but to drive back to my daughter's house with my car making this horrible noise. I was suppose to return home in a day or 2 not knowing if my car was even safe to drive. I checked with AAA car care service and they said I could bring it in the following morning and they would take a look. My car has had every maintanence performed at my Virginia Beach Mercedes dealer but what choice did I have? My daughter called with an alternate Mercedes service option. Mercedes Benz of Midlothian advised me to come right in since it was an emergency and they would check it out for me. I drove into the service area and Jay took it from there. They diagnosed my problem and gave me an estimate and repair timeline. My power steering pump was the problem so the part was ordered and my car was ready to go the next day. They were willing to take a look and ended up making the repair very quickly so I was able to drive home safely. What a difference good service makes! Thank you to Jay and the Mercedes service crew for rescuing me!Super Customer Service
