Stellar Car Buying Experience
by kla_md on 05/11/2015The only thing that surpasses the magnificence of the Range Rover Sport is the professionalism of Kenny and Sean of Jaguar Land Rover Chantilly. I spent lots of time researching the Range Rover Sport beforehand and I contacted a few… dealerships. I finally settled on Jaguar Land Rover of Chantilly simply because they were willing to help me purchase the car I wanted. I'm a bit of a tough customer, so it took two to handle me (LoL). I corresponded with Kenny through email and he answered every question I had, and I had lots of them. He responded every time. He sent me pictures and specs and anything else to help answer my questions. When I showed up to the dealership there wasn't much else to do other than pick the one I wanted and go for a test drive. They have a wide selection and offered to place a custom order if they didn't have what I wanted in stock. It was so hard to choose because there were so many different variations. Sean showed me the 2015 Range Rover Sport HSE Limited Edition and it was love at first sight. I was hooked and I purchased it. He showed me several other models for comparison sake. He also answered every question I had. This version of the Range Rover Sport is "wicked cool" and I'm so happy with this purchase. You must check it out. Needless to say the process of completing the paperwork was a breeze and took less than an hour. Sean even gave me his cell number and responded to questions I had after the purchase. by aeggroup on 08/23/2010I found their 2008 range Rover on EBAY with 33K miles on it, stating this truck has luxury package, rear DVD's, running boards and others luxury options. Looked at pictures, liked the truck, called to negotiate the price, made a deal,… jumped in my car and drove from NY to VA 230 miles to buy it. Came there - the truck had no DVD's, no luxury package, no running boards, bad tires, air suspension does not work. What kind of service is that ? Is this how Land Rover dealers treating their customers ? The sales manager ( Jeremy ) says, they sell so many trucks to rich people - they don't care will I buy or not. What kind of BS is that ? Never ever go to them to buy any used truck or car.A Miserable Experience - Untrustworthy!
by pas914 on 05/04/2009I searched out a very specific limited edition car, and it turns out this dealership was one of a select few that had the car for sale (it was a trade for a new Land Rover). BE CAREFUL -- this place is very deceptive in their pricing… practices. After negotiating a sale price via phone ($27,500), I arrived at the dealership to find an advertised posted price of $25,999 on their bulletin board in their very own show room. When I asked about it, I was told it was a misprint in the local paper which had already been retracted -- but they eventually offered to honor the price. Went ahead an bought the car at the lower price, and since that time I have had to call 10+ times regarding title. The cars title was supposedly being mailed to me -- its been nearly a month and I still do not have the title despite constant promises of "we're shipping it out to you today via over night delivery". So far (knock on wood), the car seems to be worth the aggravation, but I would suggest proceeding with caution when it comes to this dealership. Especially when dealing with "Richard Gresiak". The pictures of the car (on their website) showed a car with snow tires -- when I asked Richard about the tires, he told me he used to work in the service dept and knows cars very well -- he assured me they were all season performance tires. After looking up the manuf/model# I informed him they were snow tires. He contacted the original owner and eventually got the original all seasons back on the car. What kind of service manager cant tell snow tires from all season-performance tires??? Whats worse, upon getting the car inspected by my local dealership, they informed me that te driver's door had been repainted at some point. Again, never mentioned by the supposed former service manager (Richard) who either didn't know (incompetent) or intentionally hid it .. UPDATE: "Richard" told me that the title was shipped overnight to me on Friday and that they even paid the extra money for Sat delivery because it had taken so long thus far. When nothing showed up on Sat, I called him and he told me that it must have been because there is no Sat delivery in my area (utter BS) but assured me it would arrive on Monday. When it did not arrive Monday, I called the dealership and spoke to a manager who told me it was just shipped out (overnight delivery) today and I will have it tomorrow. This place is a joke! I am still very happy to have found a place that actually even entertained my demands, and in the process they… didn't get unprofessional with me at all. The only way I was able to do this was because of the people at rosenthal chantilly… jaguar and their team that worked so hard to meet my bugdet and the finance in getting me the financing available for it. Thank you so much, we are for sure loyal customers to Rosental chantilly jaguar for a long time.what an experience!!!

The sales people at this dealership was knowlegeable and honest. They took there time… answering my questions and being patiant with me. They sold me a beautifull Landrover LR3 and I was more than happy to give them my business. ThanksChantilly Land Rover Rocks!

My most recent experience was my lease turn in, Chantilly Land Rover has made the turn in and purchase of… a new vehicle a very easy transition. The manager listened to what are needs were and instead trying push us into a new car, he helped locate a used Land Rover that I and my family could not be more thrilled with! by rollinghard on 06/29/2008My experience with Land Rover of Chantilly was easy and painless. Contact started after I selected a Ranger Rover Sport model and built it out on their web site. The closest dealer to me happened to be Chantilly, Virginia. I received and… responded to e-mail messages for some time until the "Internet Specialist" informed me that they had several Sport model with the options and color that I was interested available. They provided me details about their dealership and I test-drove it one Saturday afternoon. On the following Monday, I e-mailed a few questions and on the next day I e-mailed a price offer. This offer was based on the TMV from Edmunds.Com and the pricing on KBB. I thought my price was an extremely low offer. They accepted my offer and I went by the dealership on Tuesday night. I was in and out of the dealership in about an hour. At no time did I feel pressured to buy a car.Buy from this Dealer

My family has purchased from this dealership before, and every time it's the same story: Great service and personable treatment. Richard Greziak searched everywhere for the… Range Rover Supercharged in black on black that I was looking for, and he kept me abreast of the situation as it unfolded. He really made buying my first car a much smoother experience than I would have imagined. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for great service and a friendly, personable staff. Many of the employees have been there since they opened. I know that as long as I remain in the area, Land Rover of Chantilly will be my location for any future car purchases.Very Disappointed!!!
by joeynick on 07/28/2011updated 06/03/2025Very Disappointed in the experience. I purchased a beautiful, (barely) pre-owned 2011 XF Supercharged Jaguar over the internet. I was told at the time of sale that I could purchase a Jaguar CPO warranty for $2200 because I will drive the… car +20k a year. After holding the car for 6 weeks (overseas military) until I arrived back in the States and also purchasing a rear-seat DVD system and Cilajet paint protection package, I was notified (on the day I finally took delivery) that Jaguar does not offer a CPO warranty for 2011 vehicles. Honest mistake, but they had 6 weeks to notify (via email) of this..........not the day I take delivery of the car! Next, the XF was listed with 8500 miles on it....it had 9150 when I took delivery! Then, when I took the car into a Colorado Jaguar dealership for tinting of the windows, they did a courtesy check and discovered that there was a factory recall for the 2011 XF S/C. Problem is that it had been on notice, from Jaguar, since December 2010! Why didn't Chantilly check this before selling this car? Lastly, I emailed them to get a copy of the CARFAX report that I forgot to take when I took delivery......4 weeks later, nothing....even though they replied stating give us a few days! I love the car, but what BAD customer service. Lack of attention to detail and no customer follow-up after spending $60k+ at their dealership.
