Problem resolved in one vist
by Satisfied new customer on 07/18/2025I had my GM vehicle at another dealership for the same problem. I was told by them my vehicle was within specs and they would monitor the situation. My local mechanic said they were wrong and that there should not be any movement. They… but me in contact McGee. An appointment was made for a day later. Problem was diagnosed and they agreed with my mechanic and replaced the necessary parts before my vehicle went out of warranty. I will be using McGee for my GM servicing needs going forward.Terrible service
by April on 05/12/2025The vehicle was brought in for the drivers door handle not working due to a sensor. They said they fixed the issue after 2 hours of waiting. I drove the car home and the door handle doesn’t work. I call the dealership and was told there… isn’t anything thing they can do and was hung up on. There is a reason people aren’t using their services. They don’t know how to work on vehicles and their customer service is terrible. I will be using a different Chevy dealer for my 3 vehicles.April, thank you for taking the time to speak with me so we can make this right. I was a first time service customer and they walked me through the process and set expectations. Then escorted me to the customer lounge and made sure I had… access to their internet provider. There is also a room for children, which is very convenient when I bring my four-year-old. Yeah I don’t think so , I firmly believe that if you acting as a general manager on behalf of the dealership had any integrity at all , you personally would have picked up the phone and called me to apologize for the sub par service and apologize for the rudeness that the technician showed my daughter when she picked it up then you would have refunded the money that you charged for fixing the tire the first time. As a jester for my inconvenience of bringing it back. As I see it I paid to fix a leak on a tire but it wasn’t fixed, the service manager said bring it back and let us fix it. My daughter sat in your waiting room for almost 3 hours and the the technician was rude. So of course I complained , and now I have 2 responses one of 2 weeks and one of 2 months telling me that if I want to discuss it further to call you. NO Hell NO is that really the McGee family dealerships idea of customer service , I dare you to to show me that you want my business, or why in the world would I ever go back to you. Again I dare you to call me [contact info removed] and make a believer out me. I don’t believe that have any interest in a short conversation and or sacrificing 35 dollars for not fixing a tire to earn future business and speak highly about your service, I tell this story and bash you folks every chance I get . Good day

So what I take from your response is it’s a ready made statement that you copied and pasted thinking that if they call I’ll deal with it then. There’s 2 issues first you’re 5 star wannabe and the Tec that thought it was his place to be rude to my daughter when he gave her the truck. I would think as a general manager that you would have picked up the phone and got information from both sides then made it right. I have also contacted the dealer where I bought it to see what is next as the barre and and middlebury excell at half ass service but have heard nothing

Inspection with a smile

I went in for an inspection and came out with some advice on oil change, on local antique… car care, got to see the undercarriage of my car on the lift and all was in the time frame set out. Comfortable waiting area, good wifi and a couple of nice cars in the showroom to pass the time.We're delighted to know you had a positive experience at McGee Chevrolet of Middlebury! New Owner New and Improved Service Follow Through

The prior Owner of multiple regional dealerships treated the Middlebury Business as a Redheaded Stepchild. If it had not… been for the excellent Service always delivered by Kurt Degraaf and his team over the years we would have looked for vehicle purchase and service elsewhere. It was very Refreshing to hear of McGee purchasing the dealership and installing Cory Quenneville local Native as Manager. The changes to the dealership in attitude and performance is astounding at first look. Kurt has a new service platform at work that delivers ease of use and information back to the customer that IS 21st century. Our vehicle was scheduled and serviced seamlessly and professionally.
