  • Great experience!

5 out of 5 starsby foresteli on 05/11/2015

I recently traded in my leased Nissan Frontier and got a brand new one. I have leased from Tim Dahle Murray several times and Josh Edson has helped make the process absolutely painless every time. I would highly recommend Tim Dahle Nissan Murray to anyone, financing was a breeze and Josh made sure everything was done quickly so I didn't have to spend the entire day at the dealership. Thank you!

  • Purchased a Maxima

    5 out of 5 starsby kristy12 on 02/28/2015

I just purchased a 2014 Maxima and was extremely pleased with my experience at Tim Dahle. They honored the True Price Agreement from the Edmunds Auto Site. I am happy with the car and the sale rep was great at explaining the details of the car.

  • disappointing experience

1 out of 5 starsby Emers on 01/21/2015

Wow what ever happened to good honest car dealers? They don't have any at Tim Dahle's thats for sure.I couldn't get out of there fast enough.Rude judgand pushy,They don't listen most frustrating.I went in there with $15.000 and I didn't want to spend anymore then that. I wanted a used car, sales person kept pushing new cars on me. I was most uncomfortable until a young lady came up to me, while I was leaving. Asked if she could help me. Of course I was still wanting to test drive a car I like, and she answered my questions. very helpful.I went in today the 22 Jan.to buy the car, and my happyness was stomped out. She apparently quit, she mentioned it wasn't a good company to work fo ad they rarely paid on commisions or deals. I know she had to of sold alot of cars due to her profetional and sweet deminor. She shared with me she was a single mom, raising two boys. She has bills she has to pay, how dare you. Hostile work environment, not to mention there not good to the customers either. I will take my business else where! Does anyone know where she went?I think her name was Michelle, hopefully she is at another deal ship and I will buy a car from her.I like Nissans but she knows her stuff.I would buy a Ford from her.made eye contact spoke clearly, very personable.

  • TRAPPED BY TIM DAHLE NISSAN OF MURRAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    1 out of 5 starsby jason05 on 11/08/2010

I put down $1,000.00 and traded in my Jeep for an Armada and I loved it. I was told I would hear back from the dealership within a few days to see if they could get me approved or not. A few days went by and no reply. Of course. So two days later I went to the dealership to see what was going on. They couldn't get me approved for the Armada but they could get me approved for a new car. They said it would take a couple days to find out what the terms would be, so I took my Jeep back until then. Well when the guy brought my Jeep to the front, he also greeted me with an invoice of all the maintenance repairs they did to my Jeep. RED FLAG!!! They claim that they had to replace the brakes (I had the brakes replaced less than 3 months before the trade in) and a few other things. When I complained they actually told me that I couldn't do anything about it because I had signed a Power Of Attorney form when we went over the financing papers and that stopped me from disputing anything. I found out that I had two choices. 1- I could walk away with my Jeep and have to pay over $800.00 in repairs they did to my Jeep, and lose my $1,000.00 down payment. 2- I could let them keep the Jeep and still use that $1,000.00 towards a new car. The problem is that I would be financing about $30,000.00. So, do I lose $1,800.00 and have my Jeep, or put myself $30,000.00 in debt? I walked out with my Jeep and came straight home to write this review. THESE GUYS ARE [violative content deleted]
    • While it was certainly was poor customer relations to do what they did, and if that $800 was parts-only, I wouldn't hold anything against the dealership. It was certainly in the dealership's best interest to prep the trade-in for sale ASAP. Any space taken up by a car not ready for sale is wasted space. Perhaps they did brakes because they can put $500 worth of parts and $200+ chargeable labor in about an hour, just to hook the potential buyer. Some of the most basic car-buying advice (and common sense) was ignored to have this situation happen: Didn't have financing pre-approved before walking into the dealership. Traded in the car before a final approval from financing. Signed a power of attorney(!) without understanding the implications. Sale and trade-in go on the same contract. No exceptions. None of this would have happened if the reviewer had obeyed the prime rule of buying a car - be willing to walk away without that car. If they had waited for real approval instead of wanting to drive that shiny new car home a few days earlier, no problem. Considering that a 1-star worthy dealership would have just told them "sorry" and they had "sold" the car (in reality just moving it to another dealership) that night and left them without wheels, I'd say the dealership isn't worthy of a 1-star review.

I was greeted promptly. They helped me find a car and helped me get financing. I wasn't sure I would qualify but they did a great job.

  • Mislead

    1.6 out of 5 starsby danielb1 on 04/27/2009

I turned in a leased vehicle, at lease termination, and wanted to lease another, new, vehicle. The only discussion I had with 'two' salesmen centered on not paying any out-of-pocket money; for end-of-lease charges, over-mileage, wear and tear...nothing! I was told that I would not have to pay anything out-of-pocket. This discussion derived from something I was told when I leased the previous vehicle 42 months before. The standard mileage usage was 12,000 miles/year. I knew I would use at a rate of about 15,000 miles/year. He told me not to worry about buying extra miles if I intended to trade back with this dealership when I was ready because I wouldn't have to pay the end-of-lease charges. Needless to say, I was 'mislead' on two occasions (I think deliberately). Shortly after closing the deal, I received a statement for the over-mileage and wear and tear chages. Obviously I requested an explanation, and only after several unreturned calls, was I given the usual runaround and no satisfaction. When I talked to Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp., I was told the dealership could not make such a promise, i.e., NMAC would not waive the over-mileage charges. I have filed a complaint with Nissan, and will continue to do so in as many forums such as this as I can find. Certainly, I could have been a smarter buyer, but it is easy to see why car salesmen have such a lousy reputation.
    • I had a similar experience. I wanted to purchase a new Altima. They talked me into leasing it for a year then I could opt to buy the car after a year and pay less than purchasing it outright. Needless to say I was so far upside down after a year that the lease agreement put me in a 5 year lease at 10K miles a year and if I wanted to purchase the car I would still have to pay 9K after the 5 years. I was paying $300 more a month than I should have been if I purchased the car instead of leasing but they steered me away from a purchase because the salesman got a bigger commission. Let's just say the wool was pulled over my eyes and I should have had everything written on paper (Some of it was written but they wouldn't back it up). I wasted months trying to figure out what their finance people did to me. I also went as far as speaking to the General Manager, Ronnie Eames (He is as dishonest as the rest of them). I submitted a claim to the Better Business Bureau and his response was that I was a liar. My advice STAY AWAY FROM THE TIM DAHLE DEALERSHIPS!!!! Too bad, I really liked the car but because of this horrible experience I will probably never purchase another Nissan. I was able to get out of the car, I was able to roll over 10K negative equity into another car (It was with GM). Instead of having to pay out of the nose for 9 years to own a car I got into another new vehicle with another dealership and will have it paid off in 7 (Still longer than I would like but it's better than dealing with Tim Dahle).

    • Absolutely stay away from Tim Dahle Nissan of Murray and NEVER believe anything that comes out of the mouth of their General Manager, Ronnie Eames. GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING, REGARDLESS OF HOW MANY PERSONAL WITNESSES YOU MAY HAVE. My wife and I negotiated the purchase and signed papers for a used 2005 Nissan Maxima on 11/30/09 and gave them a $2,000 down payment. We left the dealership without the vehicle after they told us to return the following day while they finalized the financing. The following day we visited their Sandy store (where we were approved for a loan) and decided to pursue another opportunity there and to cancel our purchase at the Murray store. Upon arriving at their Murray store and requesting a return of our deposit the sales manager took us into an office and asked to wait a few minutes while he checked on some things. After a short while the sales manager returned and told us that he had spoken with his General Manager and that our financing was approved and that we could take the vehicle with us. My wife said we will only do so upon the condition that they were 100% certain that our financing was approved and that they would not later come back and tell us that it wasn't. Well...just over a week later, on December 10th we received a letter from them telling us that they were unable to obtain financing and that we needed to return the car and pay them for the miles we had driven. Since we had an approved loan at their Sandy store, we returned there on December 10th and purchased another vehicle and then returned the Maxima to their Murray store. We were met by Ronny Eames, the General Manager who stated that he was Tim Dahle's personal representative. He apologized profusely and told us that he was not going to charge us for any miles we had driven or anything else related to the Maxima. When we requested that he return our $2,000 down payment he told us that he would transfer that money directly to their Sandy store. It is now January 12, 2010, more than 30 days since he made that promise and he has yet to transfer the money, although he reportedly told them he would do so this week. HOWEVER, HE TOLD THE SANDY STORE THAT HE WAS GOING TO TRANSFER ONLY $1,800 OF OUR $2,000 BECAUSE HE WAS DEDUCTING $200 FOR OUR USE OF THE MAXIMA. This guy is not only a liar but a thief. RUN...RUN...RUN... FAR, FAR AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. They will promise you anything to make a deal...and then lie to you and steal your money!

  • Buyer Beware! Will waste your time on deceitful tatics.

1.3 out of 5 starsby tylerdelange on 10/21/2007

Visiting this Tim Dahle Nissan dealerships was one of the worst experiences of my life. My wife and myself were interested in a used car on the lot, and we were given the "price" which we flt was reasonable, so we test drove the vehicle. We decided to purchase the vehicle and this is were everything started to go wrong. We sat in that dealership for almost 4 hours, as our sales "manager" came back 6 times raising the price of the vehicle everytime! I couldn't believe it. I understand that car salesmen can be this way, but this was way over the top! Six times we were promised a price and they came back saying they couldn't meet THE PRICE THEY PROMISED! I will never recommend this dealership to anyone. Buyer Beware!

I had been looking for a new car for a while and none of the other dealerships I went to were able to satisfy my questions and wants. I worked with Ryker and he is well informed, honest, and made me feel comfortable with my purchase. I love my new Pathfinder and I will be buying my next vehicle here (hopefully from Ryker!). Thanks so much for the great car buying experience:)

I bought a vehicle from Tim Dahle Nissan of Murray a few months ago and was very impressed with Ryker. His dedication to making sure I felt satisfied and well informed about my purchase was beyond that of ANYONE I have ever bought a vehicle from in the past. He was knowledgeable and able to answer any questions I had is still helpful months after my purchase. I would highly recommend Tim Dahle Nissan to anyone I know and Ryker Campbell if he is available!

Sometimes the term "honest car dealer" is an oxymoron. Not so with Tim Dahle Nissan. We had been offered a deal with another Nissan dealer in about 80 miles from where we live on a Nissan Quest. We drove 300 miles to Murray and did much better - a Quest "SV" instead of the "S", slightly lower payments, and $2,000 less down payment. No "hype", friendly, courteous, and very knowledgeable people like Bill and Josh helped make the sale too. We actually leased instead of buying because we needed lower payments, but will likely purchase it when the lease runs out. Edmunds is to be commended too, because when we started looking, Nissan wasn't on our list, but the review online really got our attention.

They had a truch for sale on ksl and thier website said just reduced from 36,000 to 31,999 so my son loved it and we went to look and then buy we filled out all paperwork, changed our insurance, got the loan from our bank and after being there about 3 hours they came and said they couldnt sell it for the advertised price and offered no solution. I would never recomend this place thwy just want to get you in the door and think after being that long you will just pay extra after your all excited about getting a nee car. My Husband and I bought a used 2007 GMC Yukon Denali from this dealer ship Tim Dahle Nissan in Murry On 12/17/13. On 12/26/13 a light for my service suspension system came on. The Service Department couldn't find a problem at this dealership on 12/30/13 and told us to talk to Tim M To Set up an appointment for us at a GMC dealership Which Tim did not do. I then called Tim Mills on 1/16/14 Because I am sick of waiting and want it fixed. So he tells me to Go to the " Salt Lake Valley Buick GMC dealership" Which I did. They told me the diagnostic would cost 102.00 and was I paying for it or the dealer? Tim M Said Yes he would pay for it. Done. Then the problem arrives when we find the problem.(Service Adviser )Says its the a Compressor Control ASM. Its a $702.00 bill and Tim M Says no the Tim Dahle Nissan Dealership won't pay for it. My warranty is plan D the problems covered under plan F. My Warranty doesn't cover it end of story. So my problem is, Me and my husband are paying on a broken car and they didn't even tell me it was broken in the first place. Why would they? They need to make money off of people by resting codes and after so many miles the codes come back up and then its the Buyers problem right? So I get stuck with the bill. I drove this SUV 5 days out of that 13 day period. To the store, my kids to school, and then to the dealership where they couldn't find the problem. Or even pay for something that was already wrong with the Vehicle Prior to purchasing and now is again the Buyers problem. I would not recommend this dealer ship and I will tell everyone and every review board this til it is fixed. I dealt with Tim M at Tim Dahle Nissan in Murray.

Bought a nissan rogue from matt hanousek and john westbury. Both were very friendly, not pushy, and knew the car very well. I would recommend them anytime for a new or used car. Do not use Ken Garff Nissan at all. All 3 dealerships lied to us, harassed us, and tried to bully us into buying a car.
