Suburban purchase 9/16/2019
by Sarah Grimes on 09/23/2019Not very happy with my experience this time around. We were shown so many different payment amounts that were no where near what I told them I could afford. Then they left us waiting at our sales table for over an hour while they were doing… who knows what. Then when we finally made it into the finance office the finance guy tried to get us to agree to a higher payment then we’d agreed too. And then only after I called him out on it, he reluctantly changed it. Overall with the dealership being dead that night with hardly anyone in there, they still had us there for about 5 hours. I was being helped by a bald guy with a beard, I know I know, that description just listed almost every guy in that dealership but I’m… actually talking about Jordan Dwyer in particular. He was great from start to finish, no awkward silences, boring conversations, I mean, we are talking and joking as if we’ve been friends forever. He listened to what I wanted and didn’t push other cars on me that wasn’t on my checklist. I called on an Ad and confirmed it was available. Made a same day appointment to come test drive… it. They told me when I drove from Orem, the car "was just sold in the last hour". They simply walked away. They post fake ksl car ads just to get you into their dealership for a vehicle THAT DOES NOT EXIST. They will have you driving around in circles for a vehicle THAT DOES NOT EXIST. Wasting your time and your gas. Larry. H. Miller dealerships ARE A COMPLETE SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM.Sir, I apologize that you do not feel you received our Award Winning service in the summer of 2016. I would also like to apologize that we have no record of you being in our store to look for some answers to your complaint. However, we strive to be the best place in town to do business. I will happily buy you a tank of gas for your drive from Orem to Murray and send you to a movie on us. With that said let me make it perfectly clear that I do not believe our dealership has done anything wrong or unethical and will not be giving into any of your further demands for compensation. One thing that I can assure you and anyone reading this is it is virtually impossible to put up a fake car online. The vehicle must exist and have a balance and vehicle identification number in our system, as well as pass numerous third-party verifications prior to posting. Additionally, I will allow anyone reading this to review our social media reviews and see why we have been the #1 Chevy store and accomplished the GM Mark of Excellence 6 years. I work for a nonprofit and they were the first dealership I turned to in gratitude for all that Mrs. Miller and her staff do for SLCC. I had a great experience working with Torrey… Hukill one of their fantastic Sales Professionals. He was patient and helpful and I never once felt pressured or annoyed with his follow through. I let him know what I was hoping for in a model, price and payment and he eventually found the right fit after several weeks of looking. He did a great job and I felt comfortable with all the staff I worked with who were all up front and professional in every aspect of the transaction. Torrey even took the time to follow me home in my old vehicle to save me the trouble of finding a ride. I highly recommend him and Larry H. Brandon and Zana really helped alot and they were super patient with all my questions and needs (i'm really… picky so they did a great job helping me). I went to see Brandon at 2:00pm and Zana was there to help as well, i took the car and left the dealership at 10:00pm. So it was really nice of them to stay that long and help with everything. When an issue was found with my car that was going to take a lot longer than initially planned, I was offered a loaner vehicle while mine was being repaired. Iw as kept informed while repairs were made. The staff are… very friendly and helpful.
