Dealing with Parkway was a great experience and it was a no hassle transaction. This is a very comfortable atmosphere for the customer and just straight up deals.

  • 2016 Corvette RIP OFF

    1 out of 5 starsby vette2016 on 09/21/2017

Hands down the worst experience I've ever had with a car & dealership. Not only did Parkway Chevrolet sell me a defective 2016 Corvette, they are not working with me in anyway to resolve the issue aside from allowing me to take my car in over and over and over for service. Rear differential was the FIRST issue, immediately after I put down $15,000 on this car. They decided charging me for 2 new $450 TIRES would be easier than replacing the differential. Yet never bothered to send me photos of the nails in my tires, because I was out of town. I sent dozens of emails and calls. The first time I had my car in service it was there for NINE days. Another time they had it for ELEVEN days. They give me a completely filthy loaner TRUCK each and every time I had to take my car in. I have been through this with GM before with a Hummer that was defective, & did not have anywhere NEAR this much trouble with the dealership or with GM. With parkway, I INITIALLY simply asked them to apply my $15,000 down payment and my $875 paid monthly payments to another corvette, instead of my having to file with GM to buy back the vehicle. Simple solution. NOW I AM DEMANDING THEY REFUND MY MONEY AND TAKE THIS VEHICLE BACK. In 2016 when I originally filed for help with GM, There was absolutely Zero indication that GM cared to uphold their name and back this product, & Parkway has no interest in maintaining the integrity of their name. I explained to everyone very clearly that I have been paying close to $900 a month for a car that has not been running properly since I bought it, on top of the fact that it has been in service equating to close to an entire month collectively. I INITIALLY afforded them the opportunity to take the vehicle back and put me into another one, and they elected to treat me with nothing but absolute disregard. The dealership doesn't care in the least about ANY OF THIS. They have dismissed every issue with this car, just so I will 'go away'. AUGUST 18,2017: car was towed in because it wouldn't move out of park. TRANSMISSION SHIFT CONTROL HAD TO BE REPLACED. YES, ANOTHER MAJOR ISSUE. I got my car back to find they left me with ZERO GAS AND MY CAR WAS FILTHY INSIDE AND OUT. I Heard back from FORBES DURDIN AUGUST 19,2017 AND HE TOLD ME TO "take my business elsewhere". Nothing more. General Motors contacted me: John [contact info removed] on 8/23/17 and I submitted my report. John told me that he would get back with me in a few days with an update, and advised me not to retain an attorney, as General Motors would resolve the matter for me. I never heard back from John. I called him yesterday 09/20/17. He told me that he spoke to someone in service named 'Joe' at Parkway Chevrolet, and that General Motors will not be assisting me any further. I then asked him if he received my service history report because Parkway Chevrolet has refused to send it to me. John then told me that he will not send that to me either. He also told me to take my corvette to a different dealership, after I told him I have a new issue with the car. I requested help from GM last year right after I bought this car, and it went nowhere. I am requesting help again from multiple parties, as anyone can clearly see that Parkway sold me a defective vehicle. I will send GM, BBB AND THE ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE my attorney's information as soon as I retain his services tomorrow!

  • 2017 Chevrolet Silverado

1 out of 5 starsby Pedroelrey on 11/06/2016

Been to many dealerships in my life time, and never had an issue. At Parkway Chevrolet, I had the worse experience of my life. Let me test drive the vehicle I came there to buy (New 2016 High Country), then when I went to purchase it, said the person that got there before me is buying it. Said I should have held on to the keys. How could I have held on to the keys when you asked for them back?? Then put me in a 2016 used High Country that had been in a accident but never disclosed it. I found the paperwork in the glove box from Auto Check after I purchased it and got home. Came back to dealership about not only the accident it was involved in, but also had vibration when sitting at a stop sign or signal light, and had holes drilled below the steering wheel. Addressed these items with them and they said they could not fix anything, so I asked for my vehicles back that I traded in. Salesman said they were already sold and gone to highest bidder, which I found out 3 weeks later that that was a lie. Found my car on there website for sale 3 weeks later?? Anyway they said I had to keep that High country or trade up to 2017, cause they had no more 2016's, turned out to be another lie. So I was railroaded into a 2017 Silverado LTZ at a much higher cost and note at $109 more than the High Country. Dealership was a complete rip off.
  • [non-permissible content removed] in the finance department

    1 out of 5 starsby rajincajin26 on 09/20/2016

Shady dealership, and Whitney Babineaux in the finance department is [non-permissible content removed]. Whatever you do, do not buy any of his b.s. add ons or so called "warranties". Bought the warranty because he insisted repeatedly it was "FULLY CANCELLABLE" - his exact words. I bought a used acura, and should have fully tested the sound system but I didn't turn it up too loud. As soon as I got on the road and turned it up I realized the front passenger door speaker was completely shot. Not a huge deal, but I tried to get ahold of Whitney to see if the warranty covered it, or anything else. Took two weeks to get ahold of him, and had to go through the salesman in order to do so, to find out the warranty didn't cover it. Again not a huge deal, but I decided to cancel the warranty after that, but Parkway shorted the amount of the refund by SIX HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS. Don't listen to a word [non-permissible content removed] says, and take your money to another dealership.
  • Great sales staff

The salesman and finance man went the extra mile to get my deal done. I had some issues and they went to work and got it done.
  • Horrible customer service experience

    1 out of 5 starsby TJohnson7618 on 11/27/2015

Being that this was my 3rd purchase from Parkway, I was very disappointed with the customer service this go around. I only returned, because of the relationship that we'd developed. However, this experience was nothing like any of the others. I've referred several family members as well as colleagues to this dealership in the past, and I can almost assure you, that won't happen again!
  • Great deal, great dealership!

5 out of 5 starsby bigtimtx on 09/20/2015

As always, the deal was easy, fast and complete in no time at all. Parkway and the members of the Durdin family are gracious and make me feel welcome each and every time I visit the dealership. Ike Farrell is a great sales associate and makes buying a vehicle an excellent experience. Thanks again for a great deal on my new Silverado!
  • 2015 Camaro 2SS

5 out of 5 starsby rmtilley on 02/28/2015

I reached out to Parkway shortly after being treated poorly at another dealership. Parkway jumped in and started working for me. They came back with two options. I could purchase a used car or get into a brand new car for same monthly payment. Well the latter was an obvious choice. They went above and beyond to work a deal that best suited this now lifetime customer. Not only are they a great staff they are literally just around the corner from me.
  • Great Deals at Parkway!

5 out of 5 starsby jeromedorsett on 12/22/2009

Parkway is the best when it comes to customer service and sales. I purchased my new Camaro about a week ago from Parkway. The service I received when purchasing my Camaro was outstanding. i did not have to negotiate with them all day, or have to wait for three hours to speak to the finance guy. They gave me a great deal i could not pass up! I was even able to talk to the owner while I was there and she was great! I will always buy my vehicles from Parkway!
  • Dishonest Sales and Hidden Charges

    1 out of 5 starsby nallen2 on 10/14/2009

Parkway Chevrolet gave the old sales pitch that they are not like all the other Chevrolet Dealerships. We do not add hidden cost. Boy was I taken. The add ons amounted to $400.00 and the dealership just laughed about it. When they say they don't add on extra hidden costs, you better check and go over the cost line by line. I trusted parway Chevrolet and got burned by them adding on window tinting, theft protection, and other after market products. I will never buy from Parkway Chevrolet again. They may not be like all other Chevrolet Dealerships, they are worst. Parkway Chevrolet cannot be trusted and they will look you in the face and lie to you. Do not trust this dealership. Poor sales techniques and poor ownership for trying to resolve the issue. Be aware truck and Chevrolet buyers.
  • Awesome dealership!! Great customer service!!

    5 out of 5 starsby speedracer0418 on 11/15/2008

After an exhausting search for my new corvette, I finally found what I was looking for at Parkway Chevrolet. I went to about 10 dealers just to get told that the vehicle I wanted was nowhere to be found. The service at Parkway Chevrolet was great, and they did not waste my time when it came to locating my vehicle. I was also impressed to know that they are a certified Callway dealer! I will always be a Parkway Chevrolet customer!!!!!!
  • Parkway Chevrolet

5 out of 5 starsby jimbrewerw on 05/26/2008

Within the past six weeks I bought a New 2008 Tahoe Ike Ferrell at Parkway Chevrolet. The complete transaction was of the highest of quality. The replys were quick and very informative. The pricing was very reasonable and Ike seemed to be looking for every way possible to find more discounts. When I got into the Finance office Andrew Clark assisted and explained everything in a relaxed, non pushy, manner. We are so happy with our experience that we are planning on purchasing a vehicle, from Ike, for my wife at the end of the year. I have recommended the dealership and my salesperson several time since our purchase. Thanks Ike and Parkway Chevrolet. We will be back.
  • Parkway Chevrolet Is The BEST Car Buying Experience I Have Ever Had

    5 out of 5 starsby mark6116 on 05/15/2008

I hate having to buy a car normally, but I do not anymore! I went to Parkway Chevrolet thinking it would be the same situation as everywhere else, pull you out of your car, try to run your credit, low ball you on the trade.... This time was different however, I was greeted after I came into the showroom, shown the vehicles I was interested in, they didn't even try to switch me to a different car! My salesperson was Very friendly and knowledgable. He answered all my questions thoroughly and made my research so much easier. They gave me an awesome price! I also usually hate going in to finance, but once again, this was different! I told them I had a great rate through my credit union and wanted to use them. The finance guy Charles asked me what it was and after I told him, he got me an even better rate through a different lender! My payment was actually less than I thought! That has NEVER happened before. I was in and out of the dealership in less then 45 minutes! I have to give Parkway five stars!!! I have told three friends who have bought there and they all had great experiences too! I will always buy my vehicles there from now on!
  • Parkway Chevrolet Deceives Customers

    1.2 out of 5 starsby txdriver2 on 04/13/2008

I was driving a full sized GMC 4x4 Z71 pickup, probably the most loved vehicle that I have ever owned, and one that I thought I would never have to sell, but I knew that I had to do something about the amount of fuel I was using. I went on over to Parkway Chevrolet in Tomball, Texas to take a look at the HHR and see if the financing would be a problem. I met with the Internet sales person since I had been looking into the Chevrolet HHR on the Parkway Chevrolet web site and had already taken part in correspondence via the Internet. I explained to him that I wasn’t sure if he could get me financed, but felt it a good idea to look into getting a new Chevrolet it at this point. He ran my credit and came back to tell me that it would not be a problem. He then told me that I only needed $2,000 down to buy this new vehicle from Parkway Chevrolet. I said that I could easily come up with that if I were to sell my GMC truck. So, I left the Parkway Chevrolet dealership that day, and spent the entire next day cleaning and detailing my truck to see if I could get it sold. And since it was in such good shape and ran so well, I was hopeful that it would sell… and it did the next day, to the first guy that came along to look at it. The next day I headed to Parkway Chevrolet to get the new HHR that I had discussed with them in my previous visit. And now I really felt optimistic, because I would now be able to put down twice the money as originally discussed. Needless to say, I hung out in the Parkway Chevrolet dealership all day long, only to be told at the end of the day that they could not get me financed. I could not believe what I was hearing! I just sold my vehicle and now was being told by Parkway Chevrolet that I could not get financed! I finally called the dealership back and spoke with the woman that is currently the General Manager and explained that I was lied to by her salesman. Her answer was for me to come back to Parkway Chevrolet and let them try to put me in a 3 or 4 year old vehicle… something that would put me back in the situation I was trying to escape. Ok, next I went 3 other Chevrolet dealerships. Eventually, I found out that it just wasn’t going to happen. So, here I sit with no vehicle, trying to decide what to do about the situation that Parkway Chevrolet left me in.
