Would have picked 0 stars but that wasn’t an option
by NoToValMark on 03/02/2025After spending $4000 on repairs we were told there would be an additional fee for using a credit card. This was only communicated to us when we were there to pick up the vehicle. We weren’t told this when we dropped the vehicle off, in any… of the estimates we received or in any texts or emails during the process. When we complained the service advisor suggested that we use a debit card, write a check or go to our bank and get cash, none of which were options as we live an hour away from the dealership. Called the service manager to discuss this but have not received a call back. Needless to say we will not be using ValMark again.Val Mark Chevrolet
by Tahoe Owner on 01/22/2024Brought truck in multiple times. They caused oil leak one time. They hooked up my seat warmers incorrectly after the parts finally came in. They never fixed my back up camera & now tell me, that I never told them about it, which is a lie.… They couldn’t reproduce the error at the time. Now, it’s not covered because I have over 36,000 miles & the fix is their inadequate programming.

Horrible
by Sdav333 on 03/01/2023Worst customer service by Shelby and mechanic I do t has a clue or he’s just lazy. It took two months find the problem was a spark plug that was only after I was charged 12,000 and then 1600 for break pad and to resurface my rotor. I… later found out I did not get break pad or rotors resurfaced. I went to get my 1600 back and was only given back 400. I reported the mechanic to the attorney general and the department of transportation. I felt like he was taking advantage of women or either he’s just that full of himself. His labor is more than the repairs that he didnt repair for me. I went to two other mechanics one was a locator repair shop and the one was a dealership. I was told at places I didn’t receive the work I was charged for and both told me to report him. So I didBroke down near them

by BobCole on 01/27/2019Quick, efficient, friendlySqueezed me in for inspection on a very busy day.
by HappyCamper on 01/17/2019I called on short notice to see if I could come from having new wipers installed directly to ValMark for annual inspection. Steve told me might take 30 to 40 minutes because they were really busy. As always they are professional,… courteous, and have very pleasant customer lounge with wifi, tv, fresh fruits and coffee, etc., for my wait. Always brag on them every chance I get.Great Experience
by Gregory on 01/15/2019While visiting the New Braunfels I was involved in a vehicle accident and took my Silverado into Valmark for repairs. The collision repair department found that the frame had been bent. I realized that even after repairs it was going to… leave me with a truck I no longer wanted. . Because it was the holiday sale season I sought out the sales department. Chris Young and Don Nicolay were very helpful. Chris arranged for an as is sale of my old truck and Don went to work to find us a new Silverado with nearly identical features to my 2015. They even arranged for my bed cover to be removed and installed on my new truck. Overall a great experience, good price, great turnaround time and excellent people to work with. My only complaint is that when I bought my 2015, Chevrolet gave me four free oil changes and the On Star RemoteLink was free. Now it is only one oil change and I understand that after a trial period (like the Sirius radio) the RemoteLink is a pay convenience. So no kudos to Chevrolet for more take-aways.
About our dealership
I appreciate you taking time to send in your comments but I feel that I need to clarify some of your statements. Your vehicle did not have a spark plug issue. Your transmission went out and you paid $7998.57 on the repair order that included replacing your transmission. We worked on your transmission 2 additional times but those repairs were covered by the transmission warranty. I am not sure where you are getting the amount of $12,000. In October, we resurfaced your brakes. The brake pads did not have to be replaced at that time. If they needed replacement then we would have suggested that repair and charged you for the repair if you wanted it to be done. Your ticket was $1600 in October because you had the rear axle seals replaced. We refunded you the amount you paid for the brake resurfacing even though we performed the service. You recently had your hubs replaced. The breakdown of the hubs is most likely what caused the brake pads needing to be recently replaced. Please feel free to reach out to me if you would like to discuss further. Valerie Bowen Dealer ValMark Chevrolet
