    Went in for an oil change and tire rotation as part of normal maintenance. My usual service advisor Stephen was on lunch but Lucas took over and got me squared away without delay. Always great service at Eldorado Motors.

  • Great Service

    I prefer the service experience - communication, expectation setting, meeting expectations, quality of work, etc. - to the "Sewell Experience" we experience with my wife's Audi. I will not purchase from Sewell again, I'll be back to El Dorado Chevrolet when I need a new car!!!

  • Warranty info missing, parts delay, spare rendered unusable.

    Vehicle sat due to backorder on water pump. That I understood. Then part was in Michigan but wouldn't be shipped until the truck was full even if I paid for it. Was told warranty was expired even though I used it six months ago. Found the card in my own records. That saved a bunch. Since there was 80,000 on the drive belt paid for a new belt since the old one had to be taken off for the maintenance. Asked for the old belt to keep as an emergency spare. Got home and found the old belt had been cut clean through making it useless. Not my best experience.

  • I do not like this place

    The service department at this place is a joke. I brought my truck in with obvious issues to be covered under warranty. I also was finally getting my heated steering wheel installed 77k miles after purchase and promise. What should have been a simple exchange was met with vitriol from the service manager Lucas Aston. They kept my truck for two weeks and did nothing. Now I have to find somewhere else to take it to get repaired. Stay away from this place at all costs.

    I love this place so much I've been a customer for 12 years and recently moved from the area. Yet I come 53 miles to get all my vehicles serviced at Eldorado, and we are working on our 5th purchase from the David Perry.

    He was amazing, not just with me. Is rare to see employees like him, but he was attentive, approaching customers as soon as we arrive. Employees like him make you come back. The first time I went to Ftsico, I never will be back.

  • Open recall - Safety related issue

    You are welcome for the undeserved one star, lets just imagine there is a minus in front of that rating and we are good. I experience with El Dorado Chevrolet started due to the open recall on a safety related issue with the power steering. As this vehicle is my sons first car learning how to drive and already knowing of the open recall we decided out of an abundance of caution to take the vehicle to El Dorado Chevrolet to have this issue looked at and either fixed or ruled out. Turned out the issue was not the part covered under the open recall however it was tied to the power steering but the only way to be certain this error being displayed on the dash was not related to the open recall was to take it to the stealership to confirm, due to a safety related concern we though this was the most prudent decision. The service rep who helped us at first was affable however, once presented with the other fix (and quite frankly the fix was more than the cars worth) I politely declined. After giving it some though I reached back out to the service advisor to request they waive the diagnostic fee due to the open recall and the safety concern with this party failing and the loss of steering, the guy was not only unwilling to even discuss it but also smug. Look, at the end of the day $100.00 won't break me but it just didn't feel right that the only way I could rule out an open recall that involved a total loss of steering was to take it to the stealership. Lesson learned, the funny thing is that we will be in the market to purchase another vehicle soon however, I can assure you it will NOT be from El Dorado Chevrolet.

    I have a 2004 Avalanche with 250,000 miles. The only ones to open the hood have been the folks at El Dorado. At 190,000 I had a new (not rebuilt) transmission installed and had some trouble with it just the other day. It was under warranty and my service consultant put me in a new Tahoe to drive and they fixed mine good as new and had it back to me the next day. The entire group there is wonderful and make buying and owning a car from there a great experience.

    I've been dealing with El Dorado since we moved to McKinney in 1999. We have bought 3 vehicles and have all of our service work done there. I would not think of taking my vehicles anywhere else for service. Thanks to all of the staff at El Dorado for providing excellant customer service.
