  • Kia theft recall

    I never received a call to let me know my car was ready. Instead I called service dept. and was told it would have to be 4-5 days because that’s how far behind they are. When I set the appt. They said we could probably go eat breakfast and it would be ready. I am not able to leave my car anywhere for 4-5 days I work. When I got there to pickup my car they informed me that the work had been done. I don’t know if it was or not because the news stated that the recall update isn’t working

    First day they said it thru a code that showed a recall in the engine. They said another test would be done to confirm it. They said if it needed the new engine it would be at the dealership for 2 1/2 months. Next day they said it wasn’t the engine recall...it needed a new radiator. I asked what the cars were doing that had had the engine recalled...they described exactly the things that is wrong with mine. They said it was unsafe to drive and if the radiator wasn’t replaced and the engine blew a rod, it would not be covered. They lied to me Everyone else I saw in there were also very unhappy

  • No Communication

    Dropped my vehicle off on the 8th of August and I was advised by Gene Messer that my vehicle was ready on the 22nd of August. During that time I had to call to get updates as to what was going on with my vehicle. I then had to return my vehicle back the next day (08/23) as the issue with my vehicle returned. Again never received any updates and was advised by KIA America that my vehicle was ready for pick up on the 29th of August. I then called Gene Messer on the 30th where I was advised that my vehicle was indeed ready for pick up. So I had no communication from Gene Messer KIA and had to call weekly to receive updates. The vehicle in question was a brand new 2022 Telluride.

    I was charged $17.50 a quart for oil that I can buy at Walmart for $24.47 for a 5 quart jug. I think if they buy in bulk they should be able to beat that price. I will not be getting service done there again.

    I paid the small amount extra to use full synthetic oil. They are $40 cheaper than the quick oil changes. The oil was topped of right to the fill line.

  • My car’s service today

    People are always friendly and nice. The only complaint I have today was the time it took to get the oil changed. We took the car in one hour earlier then scheduled but then it was 2 1/2 hours late. They did wash the car for me but when we went to pick it up I still had to wait 30 minutes more. This is the second time in 10 years so that is not bad!!
