Mac Hail had the post straightforth, honest advertised price. Several other dealers did not accurately advertise the… Ford rebates and incentives - several dealers double-counted the incentives and alleged it was a 'mistake'. I almost gave up on buying a Ford because of the misrepresentations of several Ford dealers. In contrast, the Mac Haik salesman was very helpful and quoted a straightforward price with no unwanted dealer add-ons. I did add several dealer installed items but they were at my choice after finalizing the vehicle price. The trade-in allowance was fair - inline with what I was offered by a third party.Nice people to buy from

My salesman, Hunter, was very personable and easy to talk to. He answered all of… my questions and scenarios. He was very thorough with explaining everything that needed to be done to buy my new car. He was very knowledgeble about the Explorer, showed me all of the features and searched for the perfect Explorer for me (he set up my bluetooth and radio stations, very important! :)). He also called to see if everything was still great and if I was still enjoying my new Explorer. Like I said, my experience was superb and I will DEFINITELY recommend Mak Haik Ford to my friends and send them to Hunter! He is a great asset to your dealership!!A very happy buyer

A sales manager named Monte sent an email offering to assist in the deal. I sent him a… lengthy email to which I never got a direct response. Because I live in Austin, I only purchased from Mac Haik in Houston because they were the only one that had the exact vehicle I was looking for. I will say that I was not happy with the initial offer on my trade-in. It was insulting and frankly, infuriating. Had they not had the vehicle I wanted, I would have just left at that point. They know the offer was ridiculous so this shouldn't be a surprise to them that it made me unhappy. Even though we came to a slightly better agreement on my trade, it will stay with me that had I accepted their initial offer, I would have been cheated. Who wants to feel like that, ever? Overall, the deal was okay and I do love the Explorer.Great Buying Experience

Many of the… dealers/salesmen we dealt with during our car buying experience would talk poorly about the competition. Israel did a great job of informing us of the pros and cons of both the 2015 Explorer, and other car makes and models. From the first reply to the vehicle I was interested in to the friendliness of the two gentlemen that I dealt with to delivery of my vehicle I don't have… anything negative to say. I like the fact that you don't throw on thousands of dollars in extras on top of the sticker price of the cars, no big pressure to "buy today" giving me the price that you advertised on the internet and not just having one at that price! Also the laid back atmosphere is nice and the low pressure from the sales staff to the finance department was very less stressful in the buying process. I will recommend my friends and family just because of these things and I hope that you continue to run your business that way.
