Beware Of Purchase
by Christian McDaniel on 01/18/2024Upsetting first time car buyer experience. I feel taken advantage of. Audi Central Houston left a negative impression and car buying experience. They were deceitful and failed to inform me of known defects. They concealed several… issues. Jefferey Restrepo stated that the TPMS light is on because “the vehicle has two new front tires” misrepresents the underlying cause of the issue when the actual underlying cause is a defective/missing/cut TPMS. This dealership deceitfully jerry-rigged the sunroof so that it appears operational (of course, until the buyer attempts to operate it), this was a deliberate misrepresentation of the sunroof’s condition, especially considering the sunroof is inoperable. In addition, there’s the issue of the headrests. They appear to have been deployed from an accident, but then temporarily closed. This is not only another failed disclosure, but also a huge safety issue. Also, here are the other issues with my car: R+L Front lower control arm bushings are starting to crack. R Front wheel missing fender liner. Engine light is on for Purge valve. The R Front door mirror needs to be replaced. Bottom line, the salesman Jeffrey Restrepo and Audi Central Houston were dishonest, misleading, failed to disclose these issues and now refuse to repair these issues.Christian, we are extremely sorry to read about your experience. Before the appointment he made sure everything was ready for the seamless… dealership visit. He communicated the updates on the vehicle readiness, made sure I filled out the necessary paperwork in advance, worked with me on financing options and trading in my current vehicle. There was one minor hiccup when I came the t dealership. When I drove my new RS5 before purchase, the AC did not turn on. Jamie took the vehicle to the service team where it turned out something was not connected/wired. Other than that, the car buying experience was very smooth and efficient.Williamson, we are very happy to have provided you with such a positive experience! by Irritated on 05/04/2023I wish I never purchased a vehicle from this location. I had to bring the vehicle back to be serviced the same week I purchased it. Not to mention my paperwork was completed incorrectly and I was inconvenienced by having to resign docs and… resend via FedEx. Everyone was hands on deck during the sales process, but once I communicated problems with the vehicle and paperwork associates were either slow to return calls or didn’t return calls at all which cause me to spend my work day following up and leaving voicemails. The final straw was when it was time to pick my vehicle up from service and an Uber voucher had to be sent to get me back to the service center. Unfortunately I do not live close to the dealership so the voucher did not cover my entire trip. I followed up with the receptionist at the service center to see what can be done and her response was “unfortunately we don’t cover clients over 10 miles but this one time, only we will make an exception”??????? The audacity! She spoke to me as if she was doing me a favor! You have my car and not to mention my money, the least you can do is Uber me back to your location to pick up my vehicle. I will never come back to this location, nor will I refer any family or friends to purchase a vehicle from here! Terrible customer service.We regret to hear that you are displeased with your recent experience with us.
