by Trey Rouse on 09/26/2024Highly recommend anyone in the Houston area who is purchasing a vehicle to stop by and talk with this dealership. They are honest, they do NO dealer add-ons or markups. They did their best to ensure every available discount was applied.… Finance office didn't upsell me on anything and was not pushy in any way. I say all this as its the complete opposite of my experience with Houston car dealerships. My previous purchase was from Autonation Ford and I should have driven the extra 30 minutes to Galveston and saved 5k and not have had a hostile purchase process.Our expectations at Classic Ford

by ed Pittman on 05/18/2023Never fully backed by dealership about the complaint I had just after I bought this C-Max in 2013. Sticker said " 47MPG highway, 47 MPG City.. We never drive this car on the highway. strictly an in town car, so 47MPG City sounded great.… It currently has a lifetime average of 26 MPG. Complained of terrible gas mileage, was told it wasn't broke in yet 4000,miles at 4,000, th3y tole me oh its 6, at 6 they told me 12000 miles to fully break it in. They reprogrammed it several times. Told 'em to put it on a truck and send it to Detroit to fix or replace. No dice. Then they offered me a trade in for the car offering me $15,000. I paid $26,000. Would you be unhappy??? They are the only car dealership in Galveston.New service advisor

by kristin90 on 06/02/2016I purchased a 2016 Ford Escape on 5/31/16 - after business hours at that. I reached out on line about a 2015 Toyota RAV4 earlier that day and received a quick & friendly telephone response & introduction by sales consultant Jesse Skytland.… In asking Jesse what time they closed that eve, he told me 7, yet he'd stay "as long as necessary to make me happy with the RAV4 purchase". Unfortunately, the RAV4 didn't work out for me, & I did feel slightly "nicked & dimed" by the number's guy who returned menial deals of $150 off the 22k+ vehicle on more than one occasion. Jesse was pleasant & professional & improvised by suggesting other vehicles to consider. He did a great job explaining all features - no matter how small or average some were during both test drives of the two makes - Toyota & Ford. In opting for the Ford and finalizing an agreed price for the new vehicle & my trade, he sat and waited with me as the finance person was busy closing another deal. He even suggested going back out to the car to set up my Bluetooth connection to my phone and showed me how to import my phone book to the car. I wanted tint on the Ford and didn't want to take the car that eve just to return it another date to have the service dept install it. Jesse promised to call me to arrange the next day to pick it up at my job and handle it for me. By 9a the next day, he had called and he was at my job in minutes. He even left me another car incase I needed it and had mine back in just a couple of hours with a really nice looking tint application. I was impressed. The finance woman was very personable and made me very comfortable through the quick process of signing all the paperwork - she almost felt like a old friend. Although this makes the 1st vehicle I've purchased at Classic Ford, it's my husband's 2nd and we are both very satisfied thus far with our experience. I would like to see your dealership offer a cash bonus to repeat customers of the same household - that would be a nice touch. The 4 stars are only representative of the numbers guy with too much back & forth. It was clear I was buying - I'd of rather just cut to the chase & left an hour sooner. I understand his job is to make money - yet that's mine also and time is money too. Thank you!Great no haggling experience!!

by 16FocusST on 04/25/2016I had pretty much decided that I wanted the Focus ST based on my review of numerous on-line comments and YouTube videos, but the proof was obviously in a test drive. The only ST within about 100 miles of Galveston was in Pasadena. After… driving the vehicle in Pasadena I sat down with the sales person and built the car to my specifications. They were scheduled to call me that day with a dealer price and 2 days later they did, but still without a price. "We're still working on it". On day 5 when they called again they learned they had lost a sale. I then visited Classic whereby Bryan Lagard and his sales manager Dave (can't remember Dave's last name) quoted me a price within 15 minutes after building the vehicle on Ford.com. We made a deal quickly that I was satisfied with and the car was ordered from Ford. About a week later Classic called to say that they had done some research and found an ST within a reasonable distance with my specifications. Two days later I drove it off the lot thus avoiding the 6-8 week wait. Bryan and Dave were professional, attentive to my needs and made the process more enjoyable than I could have hoped for. I can't give them enough praise for how they run their business. Side note...I hit 120 mph the other day. I feel 21 again when the turbo kicks in while in 2nd gear. A Happy Customer, Kevin N.
