  • 5 weeks of car being in shop

    No, communication. Did not fix car the first time, was told car was fixed the second time just to find out that the mechanic broke and or stripped the lug nuts on both front tires, needed new wheel hubs. Ended up having to go to the Service Manager.

    II have purchased two vehicles from Lithia. They are a good place to buy from. As someone who has worked at dealerships, I have seen too much gray area dealings. Lithia has been honest with me. I have not experienced any slipshod dealings, and so, when I need another vehicle, I will return.

  • Took too long and came back to an non-working car

    The service people act like they don’t wanna be there. The man told me it was gonna take 45 min for an inspection and sent me to the waiting area. I came back an hour later and he says they haven’t started yet and he’s gonna get someone to do it real quick because it only takes 10 min. I honestly think he forgot about me a customer. Well turns out I needed to replace my windshield wipers before being able to pass so I told them I would come back because I was already pissed about the waiting. When I was trying to leave my car wouldn’t turn on. It was perfectly fine when I left them my car for an hour and came back and the job still wasn’t done. A very unpleasant experience and there’s better places that can get it done. I regret buying my car here after knowing what the service area is like.I got my inspection done elsewhere with no inconvenience.

  • Misinformation and Poor Communication

    My initial 2 voicemails left with the service department regarding my vehicle went unanswered for over 2 weeks. I had to call a third time and spoke with the person who sold us the car to get connected with someone in service. I was told diagnostics would be completed same day - I had to call 4 times 30 minutes before they closed to find out they were keeping my car overnight. They had no rental vehicles, so I asked to be put on a waiting list and was told there wasn’t a waiting list - I was transferred to the front desk where she confirmed there was a waiting list and put me on it. 2 days later I hadn’t heard anything from them regarding the rental car, so I called - they had one available, but had not called me even though I was on the waiting list. They called with a quote of over $1000 to fix my vehicle and I told them I thought I had purchased an extra warranty - they checked and I had, so they told me my entire cost would be covered. I confirmed with them 3 times that there would be no cost, and they said that was correct. I get a call to pick up my vehicle and am told I owe $100. I voiced these complaints to the service manager and he confirmed that if I hadn’t asked about my warranty myself, I would have mistakenly paid the $1000+, they wouldn’t have caught the mistake by pulling up my file/warranty. After telling the service manager about all of these issues including giving me incorrect information on several occasions, I was told that the service representative I dealt with “did everything right, she just had too much on her plate”. Horrible customer service experience.

    They act like it is an inconvenience to be there, 3 times in i stand for ten mins listening about the drunk river trip or whatever before I am helped then talk and direction is minimal. No estimated wait time, after service no explanation just here’s your paper work and key. Sales was no better hence why I bought the vehicle 2 hrs from home.
