  • Awful Negotiation, Borderline Sales Discrimination

    I had high hopes for this dealership based on the reviews, but I knew it was going to be uphill when the first words out of their mouth over the phone were “So, you drive a lot of miles.” It’s a 5 year old vehicle with 60k miles which is considered low miles, and I even received an extra $200 on my trade quote from one dealer because of mileage. This dealer walked away from a deal when we were $1000-$1500 away. They only took $1700 off MSRP of a $60k+ vehicle (nothing more than their advertised price) and claimed it was“invoice.” Fine. I had even agreed to the $699 3 years maintenance plus to pay $1500 for delivery of the new car to me and trade to them. (When delivery quotes I received ranged from $500-$600/car) And they wouldn’t budge from $19,750 for my trade when average condition book value ranges from approximately $20,500-$22,500 and I told them I’ve gotten quotes of $21,500 sight unseen. All that to say is- don’t come here if you’re looking for a deal or to be treated fairly. Their excuse for not giving me average value for my trade was other Toyota dealers in the area and that they wouldn’t be able to sell it much less auction it. Essentially, they admitted that they’re not very good at selling cars. I dealt with Kevin and Dustin

    This is my second experience with this Austin dealer and I have to say it did not please to my customer satisfaction level. That third star was just a gift because they sold/traded-in my old Mazda to a 2019 CX-3 and somewhat worked favorably in my case. But the crazy and insane process of going through the salesman, financial department and director summed up the brouhaha I went through -- NEVER AGAIN! My salesman even put the blamed on me by giving me a flimsy excuse of not bringing the old title -- VERY CRITICAL, NOT HELPFUL AND INCONSIDERATE AT ALL!

    Excellent experience! I can't say enough about the professionalism and superb customer service displayed by everyone at the Austin Mazda Central location. I was especially pleased with the integrity and honesty of Zach Thompson, who went the extra mile to ensure I found the SUV that was right for me. If you're looking for a great vehicle at a fair price with friendly service throughout, you can't go wrong with a family-values organization like this one.

    Everything done on my vehicle is really great. They tend to list what needs attention and prices are so reasonable especially for senior citizens on a fixed income. Absolutely pleased with your service dept. The only thing was it took so long to complete the job, I couldn't pick my car up until after 3:30...worth the wait.

    Last week I went to Beasley Mazda Central to check out their inventory, test drive, and possibly purchase a CPO. I chose them because 10 yrs ago in 2009 I had a positive experience when buying my new Mazda 3. This time that was not the case. After about 4 1/2 hours there, (which should have been half that time or less) I decided to purchase a car. The next day they were open, I returned the car and cancelled my contract-solely due to the negligence, unprofessionalism and unethical behavior of the staff! Take a moment and think about any and all stereotypical, negative things you have heard about car dealerships and staff, and that was my experience. Just to name a few issues: the finance manager did his best (and succeeded) to pull the wool over my eyes in selling optional packages/add ons to my car purchase, and did not show me the paperwork with details on the optional packages or the price of each package, the same finance manager changed/increased my loan term without my permission or agreement and then did not communicate the longer term to me, and same manager falsified a "buyers guide" form re: warranty, and checked the box for "as is-no warranty", when in reality the car I was buying had a factory warranty plus the CPO warranty. In addition, this finance manager neglected to communicate to me that since I paid only a portion of my down payment that night, and he agreed to me calling the following business day to pay the remainder, he (was not going to) and did not give me the MOST IMPORTANT PAPERWORK-the offer to purchase, when he handed me all the other paperwork! Therefore, upon getting home that night, exhausted, drained, and tired from the whole experience, I was missing KEY forms that lined out everything I paid for and agreed to finance! When I returned the following business day to speak with a manager and give them the chance to resolve these issues, and make it right, they FAILED MISERABLY! I spoke with four different personnel and not one could get their stories straight. Upon leaving this dealership, I chose to visit Beasley Mazda Georgetown, where Rusty is the GM, who ironically enough, was the GM at Central 10 years ago when I had a completely different and better experience. Rusty and his team made up for the disgrace of staff at Central Mazda and they chose to treat me with respect and kindness. It was a NIGHT AND DAY DIFFERENCE!

    Stan Sneed is an outstanding salesman, he answered all of our questions and gave us a 100% review of the product, the brand and the dealership. Byron West was a total professional and cognoscenti of the customers needs. He guided us smoothly through all of our financing/leasing requirements and forms. We left with a new CX-5 vehicle, and mainly because of Stan's and Byron's attention to our needs.

    The service and products are wonderful. I would recommend go see the two that helped me, Kim and James. They are very professional and nice throughout the entire time I was there. It was a good experience and I think everyone was nice when I said it’s my birthday and everyone said happy birthday at the same time 😁. That was awesome. Thank you for your help.

    This is my 4th Mazda, and my 3rd from Roger Beasley. I won't go anywhere else because of their professionalism, service and overall "niceness". I have referred many to them and all my children now have Mazdas.

It has really awesome features which makes me feel so safe in the vehicle. The purchase process was so smooth from james beau to finance.     My cars have been serviced at Roger Beasley on Burnet Rd. for many years. As always I was very pleased with the work that was done and the excellent customer service! Enrique was my service technician and his courtesy was far beyond excellent. Mazda is lucky to have him! And I look forward to working with him in the future!

    Usually dealing with most car dealerships is a necessary evil, if you want to get a car it has to be done but one never looks forward to it. Last week, my Mazda 3 lease was over so I went to return my car and lease another one. Right from the beginning, James Brewer, my salesman, expertly guided me through the process and I left with a beautiful 2019 Mazda 3 sedan that I absolutely love driving. Unlike other dealerships, I never felt that Roger Beasley Mazda was treating me as just a quick sale. James was interested in finding the best car for me at a price that I can afford. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and showed me all of the new features that the 2019 Mazda 3 has added and improved since the 2016 Mazda 3 I previously leased. After an enlightening test drive, they asked what price I was wanting to pay. I told them and they came back with an offer just a few dollars higher than what I asked for and that was it. I had the car. I was expecting a long and excruciating haggling session of back and forth and back and forth. That never happened. Roger Beasley Mazda and James Brewer treated me like they wanted to earn my business and keep me as a happy customer. Everyone I worked with was excellent: James in sales, Adam in finance and Eleana in the service department. All were very friendly and helpful. I give Roger Beasley Mazda, and especially James, the highest rating.
