by KPopGGUncleFan on 01/02/2024I was super reluctant to take my car to a dealer for repairs, but local mechs said only a Ford dealership could replace the batteries in my 2016 Focus Electric. OK. I had it towed in and met with Megan in Service about repairs. I agreed… to pay for diagnostics and quickly got a video inspection on my car's needs. They only needed to top off the wiper fluid (yay!) but got trouble codes indicating need to replace the batteries that make the car move (boo!). I'd read elsewhere the cost could run between $12k and $22k, but this would be under warranty. I know better than to get too excited, but we moved ahead. Megan kept me updated via text messages. When it was all done, I went to pick up the car, bracing myself for some crappy "surprise." The only surprise? Both the upper and lower battery banks had to be replaced. Reprogramming took longer than expected. The total bill? NOTHING I could have cried (and still might). I straighten shelves at Lowe's for a living. I'm single. No cash tucked away for things like $20k car repairs. And somehow, this 2016 electric car was still warranted by Ford and nobody tried to screw me into paying *anything.* Not even the diagnostics I agreed to pay at the beginning. The car runs better than ever. I get the full range of brand new batteries, so it's pretty much a new car all over again. I might get another decade of use out of this car. Even if I don't, I've already won (so to speak). Maxwell Ford, Megan, and the fine mechanics back in the shop have earned my faith and appreciation. I'm sorry I ever doubted them to begin with.What an incredible experience! Great service

On the same morning, the recalls were fixed quickly. The service was really good, though I pay around… $350.00 for other services like tire alignment etc.Thank you Angelo for the kind words! Front AC Blower Motor not working
by Wchilly24 on 11/26/2023On a Saturday at like 2:30 pm here in Austin was driving Uber making my travel money and such and my AC kind of was acting up and cutting off. Called my Adviser and Friend Robert Aguilar at Maxwell Ford and told him my situation and what… was going on with my car and such. He immediately found a Tech that was free to check it out and he also made sure he had a Blower Motor in the Parts department and told me to come ahead and come in and he would get it changed out and replaced and it has worked like it's supposed to since that Saturday. Took less then 30 minutes in and out due to the timing and such of the day. He did a great job and helped me keep earning money and such for that weekend 😎That's fantastic service from Robert at Maxwell Ford! It's wonderful how swiftly he responded to your AC issue while you were driving for Uber, making sure to arrange for a technician and having the necessary part ready for your vehicle. His proactive approach in accommodating your situation and ensuring a quick fix allowed you to continue your work without much interruption. Getting the problem resolved in less than 30 minutes is impressive and must have been a huge relief for you. It's great to hear that your AC has been working perfectly since then. Robert's dedication to helping you keep earning during the weekend is commendable! Thank you for your business!
