    My experience with the Kia of South Austin team was excellent. The staff was accommodating and knowledgeable. If you plan on bringing in your vehicle to be maintained or serviced and find yourself doubting whether or not you should make an… effort to go to the Kia of South Austin, don’t sweat it.     I had an appointment for an oil change for 7am. I arrive at 6:40 am & I was the only person in line. So Kia opens at 7 am & the man comes out & takes cars in back of me! Is that Fair? I think Not! Thank you

    Car was not road tested as it had only been driven 1 mile since I dropped it off. Tech stated that meant they drive it around the parking lot..... very unhelpful and you shouldn't advertise this is as a selling point if the work isn't going… to be done. My lyft ride home never showed up when I dropped my car off so I had to call my own. Apparently the policy is just to wait out front and someone will just "pull up".... very safe and a great company policy it 2022, just joking. Tech also claimed he gave me 50$ off + the 10% discount for booking a 1pm appointment...turns out 10% of 570 is 50$ and that's the only discount I got. Tech also tried to upsell me by booking me at 65k mi tuneup vs a 75k mi tuneup. He was trying to offer me things I already had done at 65k, without even looking at my previous history. I don't appreciate that.

    Kia of South Austin emailed me that my Stinger was due for routine maintenance and service. I used the email link to set up an appointment for the service. The staff was super helpful and friendly and got my service all completed within the… time frame they said it would be done. Very pleased with the whole process! They even offered to have a ride (Lyft) come pick me up but my wife was able to drop me off so I didn’t take them up on the offer but was glad to know that it was an option. Great work guys and thanks again!

  • All of Kia is Struggling

    A week to diagnose a simple airbag light. The multi-billion $ class action lawsuits against Kia have all dealerships struggling. I just finished a complete engine replacement at a different dealership and have now worked with 4 in the last… 6 months to to moving. I will never buy another Kia and the dealerships helped cement that feeling. I feel for all Kia dealerships given the brand reliability problems, but this dealer system’s did not help: “commit $1,000 and then we will tell you when the part could arrive”. No thank you; I took my business to Firestone.

    Employees here are accommodating, knowledgeable, compassionate people. Have throughly enjoyed working with Oscar specifically. He exudes all of these qualities and then some. Appreciative that I have someone like Oscar on my side to help me… with all of my car needs.

  • Disorganized Experience

    Our experience with this dealership was very disappointing and chaotic. When we arrived we told the young salesman we had a pre-approval on a loan from our bank, so the banking process should be seamless. We waited for over 4 hours, had to… reapply for a loan through KIA, because the finance department failed to secure our loan with our bank before the bank closed. We also didn't get the rear storage cover that we told our salesman we wanted because the parts department was also closed. We were exhausted by then and had to wait on the car in make ready We finally left the dealership at 8pm because they were closing. We then sat in the dark with an unfamiliar new Sorento while the salesman quickly added the KIA app on my phone. We started our 2 hour drive home when the salesman called us in a panic stating he couldn't find the trade-in keys that we had personally given him. We pulled over on the interstate highway, and searched the car and determined we didn't have them. Our salesman was very disorganized and didn't listen.
