    Made an appointment a week ago. Arrived on the date & time scheduled and was greeted with a friendly employee (Luna). My car was serviced while I waited in a very nice waiting area that offered hot beverages & water.

    Have taken my kia forte multiple times for powertrain issues. The same issue pops up within couple of days of getting the vehicle back. Never getting a Kia again.

  • Oil change online Appointment

    As I pulled into service area, an advisor met me outside which was a first in a long time. We went over my services requested. I was quoted a time and that time was kept. Even a recall was performed. No discounts were available. In the past if you scheduled online appointment after a certain time you'd at least get 10% off. I asked were there any discounts/coupons.. Nope My recepit said something about decal. There was no decal placed on my car, not sure if its suppose to be.overall it was a great visit compared to my past visits.

  • STAY AWAY!!

    STAY AWAY!!! They had my car on a warranty job caused by a Kia mechanic for 5 MONTHS with zero proactive communication. After I paid for car it wouldn't start! I have notified the federal trade commission and retained counsel. Al Allen was my service advisor and he was useless and [non-permissible content removed].

    My service person Mannie at South Point KIA Austin, Texas was great. He took care of me and my vehicle. Mannie kept me updated on progress of service and walked me ti my vehicle upon completion of service.

    I've had my Kia Rio for a year now. I still love it as much as when I bought it new here. I don't drive much and recently took it in for my 1st oil change. The young man who helped me was named Daniel. He was an absolute sweetheart! I had a half off coupon but you sure wouldn't have known it by how well I was treated! He gladly accepted the coupon and led me to the waiting area inside the dealorship. It was a little bit of a wait but the time flew by thanks to the comfortable chairs, work tables with chairs and internet access, 2 TVs on great channels and the wonderful freshly ground coffee's, etc available for free! Daniel even checked on me to see if I needed anything, during my wait. I will definitely be keeping my service needs with this Kia dealorship!

  • Slow Service

    I initially brought my car to KIA thinking that the problem I have would be fairly simple to solve. I was told I'd have to leave my car there for 14-20 business days maximum. During this period I would get a call giving me the diagnostic on my car. At the 15 business day mark, I began to call KIA to try and get some sort of update, I was constantly put on hold and told that Salvador, the guy assigned to my car, was not available. I wait the full 20 business days, to no update. It nears a full month without my car, and I have had no calls, text, or email. I call KIA once, then twice, and receive no response. I'm constantly re-directed to Salvador's voicemail, or even Jeremy's, the KIA sales supervisor. I finally go to the dealer in person to be told that yes I was gonna get called, that my situation is complicated. I'm told to wait one more day to get a response on my car. I get messaged the next day that my car is ready. Salvador tells me that the first technician that worked on my car gave up so that is why my car was held for so long. My car then had to be handed off to another technician. This technician figured out the issue, which Salvador said was 'actually quite simple, it shouldn't have taken this long'. He then gave me a packet of papers, explaining that I can find all the information in there. I paid about 215.00 for the services, a price I do not think was worth the service I was given. I think at the very least, for the circumstances my car was in, I could have been given any sort of update.

    I was very pleased with the customer service that Kia of South Austin provided. They arranged for a Lyft driver to take me home, and again to pick me up when my car was ready, at no extra charge to me. As for the work done, they made good recommendations for maintenance needed, and got the work finished reasonably quickly.
