    If I could give Cody Penna a rating higher than five stars -- I would. He worked with Honda to help when my catalytic converter failed early. Cody went above and beyond to assist. Awesome service!

    As with all my experience with Fred and others at First Texas Honda, service was excellent. The only difficulty I had (and this had happened before) is that my service contract was not applied. When I pointed this out it was quickly corrected and credit was applied for covered items.

    I've been using First Texas Honda for years, even when they were at their old location. The repair service has been quick and priced fairly. They are good about informing you of upcoming service needs without pressuring you to have it done immediately.

    Fred Mathis is great! He made my experience today at Honda Service center flawless. So much so, that I was in a great mood the rest of the day. I was bit late for appt, Fred said no problem, was really understanding about it. I was having hectic morning with work, which totally got diffused the moment I showed up. I grabbed a coffee and sat outside. Fred checked in once, to give me a heads up and listened to my, what I thought some might think weird request, and was so great about it! He did not make me feel weird or stupid at all for asking. Thank you Fred!!!

    The shop diagnosed the problem as oil leaking into plugs requiring replacement of piston rings 1, 2, and 3 at a repair cost of $4000. I am not sure if the repair quote is competitive or not. I chose not to get the work done at the dealership to pursue other options. Vehicle only has 80,000 miles. The shop was clean and professional and offered a loaner car while I waited on diagnosis and information on potential new vehicle trade-in from the dealer.

    The service person I spoke to over the weekend when I realized my car was breaking down was very helpful in advising me what was probably wrong and problem-solving as to how to get my car in for service. After the car was towed to them my service manager at that time was helpful in getting repairs handled in a timely manner, as well as some extra effort on their part to handle something I would normally have had to do to get my car ready for inspection. Because of my age and Covid risks I was grateful that they provided a concierge to bring my car back and park it in front of my home.

    I have visited here twice in last 3 months- one for regular service and another for battery replacement (under warranty). Both the times, I had taken appointments (even though walkins are welcome). Both times, the job was done satisfactorily and there was clear communication on expectation of job done on car. I am pleased with their efficient system and professional staff.

    Dalton made the entire experience enjoyable. He took the time to find out what was important to us when buying a car and found the perfect one. Very happy with the purchase and will definitely recommend.

    Honda at Steck and Mopac always does a great job explaining any issues they find during servicing. Fred is incredibly helpful, and I always appreciate the nice waiting area in the building.

    First Texas Honda is a family owned business and they run it truly like one. Whenever I have been here, there are lots of employees and this time they even had a Guitarist play soothing music for the customers and folks around. It warmed my heart to see them supporting local artists. They also have a high end cafe that makes coffee/tea/frapuccino talioring to the various needs of employees and customers with good snack options.

    Joseph Espinoza was incredible. He waited for almost an hour after closing for us to arrive and pick up our car. He took the time to explain the service provided as well as any recommendations needed. Overall amazing service. We are extremely satisfied.
