We had a great experience when buying our new truck. Wilmer was so great. He listened to what we wanted and worked with us to get the price we wanted. Wilmer and everyone else were so nice.

Avoid the New car sales staff and management
by txgame on 07/18/2008Went looking for a new truck at 4pm; no sales staff to be found. Finally was approached by a gentlemen who had litle clue about which features were on which trucks in his own inventory. After thirty minutes of discussion he passed me off… onto another salesman (so he could help someone else). This new salesman was constantly leaving his desk ("have to talk this over with my sales manager" routine). As most car dealerships do, they low-balled my trade in. I told the salesman what value I had expected, he laughed and said "I have to talk this over with my manager". He and his manager come over 20 minutes later and ask me in a snotty attitude "What my problem is?" I'm a pleasent customer and don't deserve the attitude and unprofessionalism. I'm more than happy to do business somewhere else. Will never go back.Great Store
by joeblair on 07/09/2008I found the perfect car for my son and I to fix up in the garage on Craig's List. Contacted the store and found out it was Champion Chevrolet. We went over on a Saturday and were greeted promptly by a nice( non pushy salesman ) and asked… about the older Chevy pickup we had seen on Craig's List. He showed it to us and made sure we knew what the deal was with this vehicle. He told us how the store liked to offer for sale some of the cheaper vehicles to the public before being taken to the auction. He pointed out that the vehicle we wanted would be sold " As Is" and that if we wanted a vehicle with warranty or a Certified vehicle that he had over 100 to choose from. We wanted that truck, finalized the deal and drove it home. My son and I have enjoyed countless hours of quality time fixing up that truck and he now drives it everyday on his lawn mowing route. We also used their parts department to find some older parts , new and used, and they were great to work with. I have bought 2 other pre-owned vehicles from this store and I have been very happy. I wish all car lots were as easy to work with as they are.Cheated Through Craigslist
by chris512 on 02/22/2008Truly felt I was being cheated even before the first test drive. I got out of there as fast as I could. Why would a dealership resort to using Craigslist. I know it's free, but isn't that being too cheap? Anyway, the Craigslist ad… turned out to be a scam just to get me to the lot. Terms then changed and the whole event went downhill.Unsatisfactory Experience
by jbabiak on 09/11/2007My girlfriend needed "circuit boards" installed in the taillights of her '03 Trailblazer to make the brake lights work. This should be 2 parts for a total of $45 (she ended up buying them for $36 at another Chevy dealer) and 30 minutes of… labor. the service writer quoted her $410 Yes, that four hundred and ten dollars), and when she questioned the estimate, he said they could do it for half! You would think she was buying a rug in Morocco. In the end they charged her $40 for some courtesy service (she balked at the $86 diagnostic charge), and she bought the parts herself and had another shop install them.Awesome service!

My last experience (Maund with my Scion) had been absolutely dreadful so I was none too thrilled to be taking my car in for… service anywhere. Gratefully, the folks at Champion were a breath of fresh air and have set the bar for service excellence in my book. I called early and left a voice mail doubtful that Id ever get a return call. My call was returned by Patrick ten minutes later. As visions of dollar signs for unscheduled maintenance danced through my head, Patrick explained that the problem with my trusty Cobalt was a recall issue. Hallelujah! He called back a few hours later indicating that in addition to the power steering, there was also a fuel pump recall which they took care of as well. This is the level of service that everyone should expect but is becoming increasingly difficult to find. From drop-off to pick-up to everything in between, my experience with the Champion service department was extremely courteous and professional. I wouldnt hesitate in recommending them to anyone.Excellent Sales Service - PRE-online shopping pays off

They offer free shuttle service if needed. They will contact you with any items they… found but were not discussed and will call you when the vehicle is ready. Very simple process.
