the perfect new car buying experience
by rahel on 12/05/2013updated 06/10/2025I was in the market for a new car so I went to Vandergriff Acura to test drive the ILX a day after thanksgiving. On my first visit there, I worked with Jeff C., the internet manager, who was very friendly, and knowledgeable about the… ILX. The dealership is way out of my way so I was reluctant to buy from them. However, he assured me that if I purchase from them, their concierge service will pick up my car, loan me another ILX, and bring my car back serviced. In addition, Jeff stayed in touch with me while I was shopping around and worked with me to get the payment down to where I was happy with. I was very relieved he did not make me feel pressured and most importantly did not try to sale me things I did not need. Although another salesman from the dealership finalized my sale, (unfortunately for Jeff), Jeff stayed around and made sure I was taken care of and the deal we agreed on was carried out perfectly. I have to say, this is the easiest car buying experience by far for me. I would definitely go back to Vandergriff Acura and Jeff, and definitely recommend them to anyone who is in the market for a car.Happy customer!

We had our hearts set on trading in our Nissan Xterra for an SUV that offered more space and comfort for our expanding family. Jeff worked diligently… with us, along with Darren B., to get us the price we needed and a fair trade in amount. Jeff even went out of his way to make a quick lunch run for me when I started to feel ill around lunch time! At 4 months pregnant, my need for a meal can come suddenly and Jeff made sure I was taken care of! I am happy to say we left Vandergriff later that day confident in our purchase of a 2011 GMC Acadia. I would be happy to do business with them again in the future!I would recommend

The sales consultant Wade B. did a excellent job of showing all the features of the car and helping me get a lot of the cool tech stuff setup. The Sales Manager Paul R. also was very helpful on… letting me know whenever he got an MDX that fit my price range. Overall it was a very smooth transaction and I would highly recommend doing business with Vandergriff, Wade B. and Paul R.!Great Buying Exerience!
by paul_m_santos on 06/02/2014updated 06/10/2025May 28, 2014, 18 days prior to purchasing my 2014 Acura TL from Vandergriff Acura, I recently bought a 2013 Acura ILX from another Acura Dealership in Dallas. I drove my ILX for 18 days but realized that it was too small and under power for… me. (I had a BMW 7 Series V8). I thought I could return my ILX to the Acura dealership in Dallas in exchange for a much larger vehicle but I did not know my options. I did some research and compare the deals between the one from Dallas and Vandergriff and found that Vandergriff Acura offers much better deal in terms of pricing. I went to the Dealership and met Travis N., he was informative about their cars. He also understands people's situations in all levels and promised to do his best to get the best deal I could get for my money. And he did. I was planning on buying a used 2012 Acura TL but I ended up buying the 2014 Acura TL with Tech Package!!! Travis delivered great customer care and satisfaction without the feeling of being pressured to buy. He went back and fort with the managers and finance people to achieve the best deal for my Acura ILX trade value and for my APR. He even had his staff have the car detailed twice on the same day to impress me. :-) Travis and I became friends after that and still continues to communicate outside car business. I highly recommend this dealership to everyone who is in the market for Acura. Travis N. was outstanding and caring! I was referred to the dealer from a friend who loved their Acura they recently purchased at the dealership and I figured I'd… make the drive to Arlington from Dallas, and I'm glad I did! I scheduled a test drive with Wade and he was the best car salesmen I've worked with. From start to finish I felt extremely comfortable. He worked with me to get a great value on my trade-in and explained all the different warranties and protections that it came with and all of the features the car had. I never felt pressured to make any decisions and he was extremely efficient and personable to work with during what's usually a long, drawn out process. The finance team even got me a better interest rate! I would highly recommend Wade and the dealership to any person looking to buy a car. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!Honesty

I HIGHLY recommend Vandergriff Acura and ask for Wade for your next car… purchase....PS - I am not a family member or a friend...just a customer who thankfully was passed off to Wade when I arrived and am glad I was.Horrible Experience & Ripped Off

After Nissan made the repairs and my $100 deductible reimbursed by Vandergriff Acura, I decided to purchase another car. In June, I purchased a 2008 Lexus IS… 250 and I have had nothing but problems. $3500 later, I'm still have problems. I have replaced 3 of the wheels, 2 tires, the mesh grill, and now I have problems with my wheel bearing and don't know if my extended warranty will cover it. This dealer is a rip off and do not inform customers about the major problems with their used cars. There is no reason I should be out of any money for repairs within a 3 month period. I will never purchase another vehicle from this dealer nor will I ever recommend anyone. Vandergriff Acura [non-permissible content removed]!Best car buying experience with Jeff C.

I knew exactly what I wanted so that helped me navigate through the process. The only opportunity the dealership had was the cut down on the… time it took to move us over to finance; the paperwork process could definitely use some streamlining. However, I can't weigh that too heavily considering it was a Saturday in December when a lot of people were likely buying cars. Also, fully think through what they try to sell you in the finance office - they definitely make some money here and they've got plenty of services they're trying to offer you. I hope to work with Paul in the future!Major Comeback

Once the trade-in was agrred upon I was told that the original quote was a mistake and they attempted to sell me a loaner car… with 200 miles on it. REALLY!!!! When all was said and done I purchased a better equipped Honda Accord EX from Frank Kent in Fort Worth.RDX Purchase

I went to Vandergriff Acura and spoke with Steve M. about what I was looking for. He asked several questions about the type of car, payments and financing I was… looking for. As soon as I drove the MDX, I knew that was the car for me. After having my first MDX for almost 4 years I considered trading it in for a newer one. I typically purchase used cars but I wanted to drive the newer 2014 model. I absolutely loved it. I was still looking at getting the used one but Steve suggested we work the numbers on both cars. Steve even parked the two cars side by side so I could get a visual of the differences to help me decide. Steve went above and beyond to help me and in the end I got the 2014. Steve has a great support team and I won't buy a car from anyone else!Our New Acura RDX

From our first meeting, Daren was friendly, professional, knowledgable, helpful and determined to place us in the vehicle that we specified. In my experience, salespeople… often do not listen to what a buyer says. Daren listened carefully to us and not only heard what we were saying, but also did everything he said he would do. Our needs were somewhat complicated by my wife's handicap which requires hand controls being installed on the new car. Daren guided us through the buying/trade-in process smoothly and seamlessly, then went the extra mile by helping us get the new car to and from a handicap equipment installer. This is exactly the treatment I expect from a luxury car dealer. Vandergriff Acura should be proud. I would heartily recommend Daren B. II to anyone I know who is shopping for a car.Great Experience
