Buyer Beware: Bait& Switch in the Workplace?
by Disgruntled Potential Buyer on 05/28/2025I spoke with a Hyundai salesman related to a pre-owned 2024 Hyundai Sonata they had in stock; I told the salesman I wasn't looking for a 2025 new car. The personable salesman actually took a short video clip Sonata and texted it to me. I… then received a stock number. However, shortly thereafter I received another stock number this time from a sales manager who sent me a clip of a 2025 Sonata. I called the sales manager back stating I had received 2 different stock numbers. He said he did that so "I was saving money" on a 2025 versus a 2024. the difference was more than $3000. Today, I texted the original salesman and cancelled my appointment time. I then received another phone call from someone above the sales manager (Owner?) asking me to give this Hyundai dealership another chance to redeem themselves. Long story short, I purchased a Sonata CPO from another dealership and actually saved some money as well.Lemon
by James Oatsvall on 10/01/2023Sold my daughter a car with a known engine defect from factory. Then was lead to believe if we paid them a lot of money for an oil consumption test they could get her an engine replacement. Hyundai has a class action lawsuit for this… problem . Paid the money , but was denied by Hyundai even though it failed all the tests. Was told by dealership the engine was not knocking so they wouldn’t honor warranty even though failed oil consumption test. Dealer ship sad they would help me with a solution, but all I got was you can trade car.Honest and Easy
by newtucson1 on 07/12/2016Straight forward, no pressure purchase. Dealing with everyone, from my salesperson Kristian, to the sales manager to the finance manager, was a easy and with no gimmicks ! I was given more than expected for my trade and got a great price… on my 16 Tucson. I know this store well, as they have been my go-to for service on my VW GTI. Always good to deal with on every level.
