I spoke with a Hyundai salesman related to a pre-owned 2024 Hyundai Sonata they had in stock; I told the salesman I wasn't looking for a 2025 new car. The personable salesman actually took a short video clip Sonata and texted it to me. I then received a stock number. However, shortly thereafter I received another stock number this time from a sales manager who sent me a clip of a 2025 Sonata. I called the sales manager back stating I had received 2 different stock numbers. He said he did that so "I was saving money" on a 2025 versus a 2024. the difference was more than $3000. Today, I texted the original salesman and cancelled my appointment time. I then received another phone call from someone above the sales manager (Owner?) asking me to give this Hyundai dealership another chance to redeem themselves. Long story short, I purchased a Sonata CPO from another dealership and actually saved some money as well.
